Filia Luxury Suites ★★★★
Mitsis Selection Laguna ★★★★★
"Mitsis laguna has the best staff, they can't do enough for you. There is a nutritionist on site to help with any dietary requirement and allergies. I have coeliac and was well looked after and didn't get glutened. Cannot recommend enough!"
Maria Rousse ★★★
"The location was perfect and our room had a beautiful view of Malia. The staff were lovely and friendly and made you feel very welcome. The food and drinks were amazing too and great value for money. I would 100% come back and stay here, I have no faults 🥰"
Lyttos Beach ★★★★★
"Recommended hotels in Crete. All inclusive, don't worry about what to eat. The entertainment facilities in the hotel are also very complete. After playing for a few days, the children were reluctant to leave and were so tanned. Recommended for family travel."
Skipper Beachfront Suites ★★★
Mareva Apartments ★
"What a fantastic holiday we’ve just had. We chose Mareva apartments for the location as when we came 2 years ago to Hersonissos we loved spending time in Koutouloufari. Mareva was a 10 mins walk up to Koutouloufari and 10 mins walk down to Hersonissos (ideal location). But the best thing about our stay was the hospitality we received. Family run business who made us feel very welcome from the start. A special mention to Yannis the owner who made our holiday one to remember and Nagy who every morning greeted us with his happy, friendly smile. I can totally understand people returning to Mareva and we will definitely be going back."
Charm Hotel, Hersonissos ★★
"The water in our bathroom was a very dark brown and smelling of metal. The hotel unilaterally decided to do away with our breakfast that was included in the price stating that the price actually is 50 eur per person :) Furniture from the '70s, bathroom with small lights and no hangers. There is no king-size bed, as mentioned - just two single beds. Overall - a bad experience and a misleading description."
The Nest Resort ★★★
Sarpidon Apartments ★★★
"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Best Place to Stay in Malia! We honestly cannot recommend this place enough — it is truly the best place to stay in Malia! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome and completely at home. Dora and her staff made our holiday even more special with the way she looked after us. Her kindness and hospitality were incredible, and she made us feel like part of the family. We actually ended up staying longer because we simply didn’t want to leave! The hotel has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and you genuinely feel like you’re part of the family rather than just another guest. The whole experience has been amazing, and we cannot wait to come back next year. And the funniest part is… we haven’t even left yet and we’re already missing it! 😂 Thank you so much for making our holiday so special. We will definitely be back! ❤️ Diolch 🏴 Ευχαριστώ 🇬🇷"

"Aristea and pavlos made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in until departing. The hotel was good , some of the staff were great and it has a lot of amenities. Pool is a good size, a bar and Stalis beach is moments away . If we come back to this part of the island again we would stay again."
Blue Sea Beach Affiliated by Melia
"I had a great facial and body massage with Riri in the spa. She was very professional and courteous and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a treatment with her."
Stella Island Luxury Resort & Spa (Adults Only)

Mitsis Royal Mare
"Wonderful experience me and hubby visited for our wedding anniversary and had the best time , service and food was exceptional and we would highly recommend anyone to to visit ❤️"
Nana Princess Suites Villas & Spa
"A truly wonderful trip! From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with a warm and attentive welcome from the staff. What surprised me most was that the hotel thoughtfully provided pens engraved with our names – a small gesture that touched us deeply and showed their care for their guests. Throughout our stay, the service, environment, and attention to detail were impeccable. The room was clean and comfortable, and the view from the window was breathtaking. The hotel restaurant served excellent food; every meal was satisfying. The breakfast buffet was particularly delicious, with a wide variety of fresh ingredients, and I must especially praise the coffee – it was truly wonderful! All the staff were friendly and kind, especially patient and enthusiastic with our children, making our whole family feel right at home. In short, this is a hotel where you can truly relax and enjoy your vacation. Thank you for the wonderful memories, and we look forward to returning! ❤️"
Akasha Beach Hotel & Spa
"Really lovely hotel surpassed expectations. Every area of hotel kept well, clean and luxurious. Staff are excellent and while very busy take time to be friendly and accommodating. Facilities fabulous and choice of areas to relax in wonderful. Good welcome, food waiting in room after late arrival and great care to explain everything on arrival. Room clean and well serviced by the housekeeping team. Food options breakfast and dinner great variety and choice, regularly changing menu. Delicious range of desserts and breakfast options. Special shout out to Nada who was so attentive and friendly, very helpful and hospitable in dining area each day. Main pool area busy in morning with sun-bed rush however there are plenty of relaxing areas within and part of the hotel. Beach area is really nice plenty of sun-beds and lovely service from Konstanious and Anna. View is amazing. Snack menu delivered delicious generous portions for lunch at beach area. Indoor swimming pool, gym, as well as a range of outdoor pools, rooftop and beach front. Stayed for 11 nights with our daughter, who celebrated her 16th birthday while away. Hotel without any prompting organised a special birthday dessert and card for her. Lovely touch! Guests range from couples of all ages, families with babies and older children to groups of adults. Hotel very central and good access to back beach path walk and the Main Strip."
Mitsis Cretan Village
"Good. The facilities are quite good. The worst part is the beach and the food. For a 4-star hotel, the quality and variety are a bit lacking."
Heronissos Hotel
"Overall a nice stay but so much room for improvement. Arrival: arrived at 3am to a very nice looking hotel lobby, check in was fast and we were taken to our room by a member of staff who was friendly. We were told to pay taxes in cash, so be prepared and carry Euros with you. Rooms: The room we were given was below standard. It was mouldy, outdated and had a broken shower, broken toilet seat and faulty electrical sockets. We mentioned this to the man at the check in desk who said that our issues would be resolved the next day. Not ideal as after a long journey we would have liked a shower, but understood as it was 3am. We went to sleep, but the bed (2 singles pushed together, even after emailing to request a double bed) was extremely hard and were only given 1 flat pillow each. After complaining to Love Holidays for two hours the next morning we were given a complimentary upgrade room to a superior suite. This room was better, had a walk in shower with no mould, a toilet seat that was not broken but sadly still two single beds pushed together. The bathroom door was a piece of frosted glass with hinges, so if you aren’t happy hearing your roommate doing their toileting avoid these rooms. We took the pillows from the previous room with us so that we had two pillows each. In the superior room we had slippers and robes, but we didn’t use these as the robes were very well worn and stained. The balcony view was of the building adjacent, the view in the standard room was better as it faced the sea, however we felt that as we had been given an upgrade to complain about the view would have been wrong, but if we had booked a superior room and received this view we would have been disappointed . The room was cleaned each day. The cleaning staff are 10/10. Food: overall was good. Pretty much the same each day with slight variations as you would expect in an all inclusive resort. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and helpful, kept tables clean and directed guests to tables. There wasn’t a very long wait for a table if it were busy. Breakfast was by far the best, offering fresh fruits, Greek yogurt, cooked meats, pastries, beans, eggs, cheese, breads and jams as well as salad options. My only gripe would be that they offered no fresh fruit juices, the drinks were concentrated and from a machine. Lunch and dinner were similar, always salad options, breads, various hot meals, with a fair few options for vegetarians. I found that some meals were very salty and oily. We believe that one of the dishes - a creamy broccoli bake was the cause of us to have an upset stomach, it was a dish that we each had on separate days but the day after we each ate it we each became very unwell. The food is not labelled consistently. Sometimes there are labels and other times there is not. And the labels only say the food name, not what is in it, or if it has any allergens. However, the ice creams and desserts were delicious, especially the Greek walnut cake and pistac"
Amazones Village Suites
"sadly this is no way a 4 star hotel, id say just it would be just making a 3 and thats only because the staff were lovely. We booked two weeks here at the beginning of september and stayed in the junior suite with partial sea view i think it was called that .If your not very fit or mobile you may struggle with how steep set this hotel is with steep paths and many stairs to rooms, not a problem for us but more elderly people will struggle.while there we noticed people dragging their cases along the long road to the hotel,we think thats because the road was narrow and no where for coaches to turn around ,so they dropped people off at the end of the road and had to make their own way to hotel on foot,my advice hire a car from airport or get a taxi,at least youre guaranteed being dropped off at hotel front door. When we went to get keys to our room the manager sent a young lad up to make sure our room had been cleaned, he came back saying it had been, shouldnt he already know its been cleaned ready for next guests? The room itself was quite large but really really dated. Our room had a cooker hob top, kettle ,microwave, fridge and a toaster. The bathroom was in a bit of a state needing a good clean and a bit of a fix up.There was some shower product residue on the shower/bath wall, the toilet seat was broken but we managed to get them to fix it,but no doubt it will break again because the seat doesnt fit the toilet bowl properly and slipped when sat on.The shower itself was a bit of a pain because the shower head was on the side wall above the bath not the front or the back of the bath ,so if you wasnt standing directly in front of the water stream the water hit the long shower curtain and drenched the floor, making it dangerously slippy when stepping out of the bath.i had to use the hotel hand towels a a bath mat to stand on. While there we only had out bedding changed once in the whole 2 weeks we stayed. They may have swept and mopped the rooms but thats debatable because my feet were constantly black when walking barefoot in the room..One day i ended up with a small sliver of glass in my foot while in the the bedroom..that though may have come from falling off the broom if they swept, who knows..The pool itself is nice and deep but again not very safe..one set of steps to enter the pool which were very slippy and had no hand rail to hold onto while entering the pool, saw a couple of older ladies struggle and slip trying to get in,it really needs a hand rail ,it could also do with pool ladders at the deeper end of the pool. The decking around the pool was terrible..nails and screws sticking up ,loose boards and splintered wood.I always wore water shoes around the pool because of this. The food was ok,breakfast was hit and miss depending on what was put out. One sunday they did a bbq at 24 euros per person..that was nice .If you like your drinks stick to wine and beers because the cocktails were poor, all syrups no alcohol.I can highly reccomend eating out in"
Galaxy Villas
"Just coming to the end of a week's stay here with my wife and her parents and we have had the most wonderful time at the Galaxy Suites. The place is modern (built in last 2 years I think) and the place is kept spotless. We stayed in a garden room which had a huge bedroom and large living area with a balcony over looking the pool and also on to Hersonissos and the Med in the background. Breakfast is on the terrace with the same view and has a good range of different food for all tastes. The pool was lovely with enough loungers whilst we were here. Koutouloufari is a delight and all the bars and restaurants are just a short 5 minute stroll and all come with the typical Greek charm and welcome. Big thanks to all the staff- we have been treated like royalty from the moment we arrived and a special shout out to Stephanos for his humour!! Will definitely come back here- thank you Galaxy!!!"
Hersonissos Maris
"Great hotel, service, location, beach, pool and sunbeds. Diverse and very rich buffet! Gorgeous Crete, sea, mountains! Thanks to the hotel team! 👍"
Palmera Beach
"No parking was available when we arrived, had to find parking in the very busy streets. A lot of night life happening right infront on the boulevard. The view over the sea was amazing. This place would be good for young people but not for more adult people. Dinner was good."
Semiramis Village
"The hotel is ok but it is not 4 star I would say it possible 3 star it might have been 4 star when opened but definitely not now food is good always something to eat. If staying there have strong legs as it's up hill everywhere and the lift goes up one floor in lobby, rooms can be up to four levels higher anyone with problems with stairs not advised to go, the village is in the middle between Hersonissos and stalis 30 to 40 minutes walk either way . The hotel is all inclusive but they have a lot to learn about all inclusive it's not done well small plastic cups for drinks and slow service so expect to queue for drinks, beer wine and spirits are local and poor quality. The staff are nice very friendly and helpfull. One other thing there not enough sunbeds for the amount people there and if you want one get up very early to put towels on beds. Overall it's an ok hotel I had a pleasant stay i didn't stay in the hotel evening's as there is nothing to do most people played cards and no entertainment except for one night a week they had a dance group on but was poor show I left after 5 minutes."
Noble Hotel Suites - Adults Only
"What an experience! The hotel, the room, the food, the staff, the spa.. we have had the best time! Thank you to Maria in the spa for convincing us to get the treatments we did.. We had the His and Hers package, scrub and candle massage with Georgia and Anna, BEST massage we have ever had. Quiet place and local area but still a lovely vibe. Staff are so friendly, knowledgeable of the area and helpful, too many to name, but special shout out to Sophia in the bar as she takes a genuine interest in everyone she talks to and really tries to make everyone feels welcome and seen."
