Just back after staying at the hotel for a week firstly arrived early evening and checked in to be greeted by unfriendly reception staff. Requested ground floor due to mobility but told wasn’t possible they was busy. So given a room with a few steps to it. Room was ok but abit dusty but friendly house keeper. The pool was freezing for young children kids with blue lips. There wasn’t many staff working at the hotel so tables and bins over flowing. Food was amazing a lot of tasty deserts. Animation team was poor never seen them much that could be improved.

The staff were really friendly and the rooms were lovely and clean. Would do again!!! Was fun for the entire family's and we went as a group of 12 great time.

Amazing buffet, good snorkeling at the beach, and we especially appreciated Klaudia at the bar outside our room, who gave us custom espressos drinks and was so hospitable and friendly. Also the local town was safe even at midnight. Gordon H

My stay at Star Beach Village was wonderful! The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean, and there were plenty of water facilities like pools and slides to enjoy. The food was delicious, and the animation program for kids was a great addition. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend it.

Had a great week here all inclusive. 2 families of 4 with children aged 8,9,10. Children loved the pools and slides and the evening entertainment. The food is lovely, so much choice and different variations every day, a lot of it freshly cooked while you wait. We had an issue with our room on arrival (very strongly smelling of cigarettes) but were immediately moved when we complained. Main downside would be noise on an evening, our room was near to the bar area and there was very loud music playing until midnight on a few nights, not great when you are trying to get children to sleep.

Absolutely fantastic holiday! Went as a couple with our 2 adult sons, 1 with their partner and little 4 year old, we all loved it! The elder lads were off on the slides, the little one in the various splash pools and we just relaxed by the pool. Enough to please everyone at all times. Night time entertainment was good, bar staff at the main pool bar (main entertainment bar) were fantastic day and night, really friendly staff throughout the hotel. Room was lovely, that clean it felt almost new. Food was faultless, plenty of choice, fresh and tasty. Especially loved the Cretan restaurant, fresh omelette at breakfast, overlooking the ocean and again lovely staff. I would highly recommended this hotel.

Just spent a week here with my daughter aged 4 ,we have had a wonderful time..slight problem with our annex accommodation on arrival at 10.30pm but swift service at reception and we were upgraded to a lovely apartment right by the pool ! Great service...the food was excellent and all the bar and waiting staff do a fantastic job ..plenty of pool choices a little chilly but my little one enjoyed it ...Will definitely be back ..thank you crete its been a blast !

Clean and comfortable room, friendly and attentive staff. Gregory at the lobby bar simply outstanding service. Food has been varied and great choice of restaurants. Pools a little chilly for little one at this time of year, but refreshing for myself melting in the Crete sun. Family entertainment team brilliant for my youngest. Older kids loved the water slides and the football pitches. Will be back.

The hotel complex is very clean and well-kept, the food in all three restaurants is excellent. We were most impressed by the friendliness of all the staff (especially Anastasia!). The hotel is located on a beautiful beach and also has several pool facilities. The surrounding area also offers many interesting excursions. There was a very varied evening programme every evening at a pool bar.
