Embassy Suites by Hilton Hampton Convention Center ★★★
"Nice hotel…did not like that there was trash and dirty linen in hallway across from my room"
Buckroe Motel ★★
"Took a look and kept driving. Looks like something out of a slasher movie - broken-down, not secure, creepy. Hampton Inn wasn't great, but I came away unharmed."
Element Hampton Peninsula Town Center ★★★
The Landing at Hampton Marina, Tapestry Collection by Hilton ★★★★
"The hotel was the perfect location for the conference that I attended. However, the stay was less perfect. For a hotel of this caliber and cost, one should not have to experience what I encountered: water leaking from the shower in the bathroom on the floor above, the fan continuously blowing, an inability to adjust the temperature, and mold around the window sills. The staff was very apologetic but unable to accommodate me because of my booking through a third party. I am not a satisfied customer"
Hyatt Place Hampton Convention Center ★★★
Economy 7 Inn Near Hampton University VA ★★
"Best hotel ever clean quiet nice"
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Hampton Coliseum ★★★
"It was a really nice place to stay. Clean and friendly environment."
Holiday Inn Express HAMPTON - COLISEUM CENTRAL by IHG ★★★
"The front desk staff were extremely nice and welcoming. The breakfast was tasty, and I appreciated the drinks and snacks available to buy at the front. The mattress felt kinda old and there was some weird plastic applicator stuck in the sheets. Overall I feel like it was an okay experience…"

Quality Inn
"DO NOT STAY HERE. Cockroaches dead and alive in the room. Floors are disgusting. Staff is just a family of three, the daughter is the only one that isn't completely disrespectful and rude. You will see the amount of trash from my pictures, that trash remained there all 3 terrifying nights of my stay. I am ashamed that I did not leave and go to another hotel, the area was largely sold out and near by rooms were 800+ a night. I asked them to clean up the 2 live cockroaches I smashed. They still refused to mop or sweep. I had them come to the room and show them the 2 cherry tomatoes that were still fresh along with random pieces of cock roach and other random filth. The tomato was swept out to the balcony and then off. But the stairwell was in the way so the tomato bounced off and found it's home on the second floor. If you want to know how other cultures live, this is your chance. The manager had the nerve to get loud with me in the lobby in front of other guests while i was making the point that this cockroach infested facility was unacceptable at $250 / night and would be unacceptable at $25 / night. Another guest actually told the guy that he shouldn't talk to other guests like that in front of anyone, and he started barking at him too. I will be contacting the health department as well. Do not go to Hampton, VA. The entire area is horrible. 0 stars. Uninhabitable roach infested disgusting place needs bulldozed. The one picture is the bathroom door, which had literally every single human fluid on it top to bottom."

Extended Stay America Suites - Hampton - Coliseum
Magnolia House Inn
"We had a wonderful two days at the Magnolia House Inn, our second stay at this lovely place. We were in Hampton for a high-school reunion, and the inn on Armistead Avenue is right next to downtown Hampton and only a couple of miles from Fort Monroe. Innkeepers Lankford and Joyce are unmatched in our experience. The Ellington Suite is furnished with comfortable antiques--but the necessary amenities (mattress, bathroom) are fully up to date. The breakfasts (included in the price) are marvelous--the menus change every day, but the quality of the food never does: it's always top notch. Even better than the food is the conversation, as Joyce comes in and orchestrates a genuine conversation among the guests. She is a first-rate storyteller. Our hosts and the Magnolia House Inn deserve our highest accolades! We look forward to another opportunity to stay with them."
