"The location in the center of Haarlem is perfect; everything is within walking distance. The room on the second floor at the front of the hotel was very dated!! Old furniture, poorly maintained, small bathroom; the shower door couldn't open completely because the sink was in the way. There were two single beds, but the floor was sloped. I was with my girlfriend, and when we pushed the beds together, there was a height difference of over 5cm. No breakfast (on Sunday). There was a kettle in the room, but no coffee/tea or even cups! No mini-fridge. The price did not match what you would expect from a hotel. Definitely not recommended!"

"Just a spot left in the parking lot. There is also a bus stop close to the hostel. It is quite a distance to the city center on foot (±5 km). Friendly welcome from the staff. Clear explanation about the pass. Room (4 persons) looks good. Better than the stairs to the 1st floor. Really needs a refresh. Unfortunately no croissants and bananas for breakfast."
