"It's supposed to be new but lots of things don't work and are broken down. Room we got on arrival was the size of a box despite them promising us a bigger room when we booked on the phone. The next day they moved us to a bigger room without any windows. It was dark like crazy. The receptionist said oh the rooms are clean so what's the problem. The aircon kept switching off throughout the night and back on again. The lights kept switching on throughout the night as well and we had to get up to switch them off. Happened every single night throughout our stay. WiFi in the second room was awful. Do not bother with this hotel"

"This hotel offers incredible value for money. A special shout-out to the front desk manager – their service was exceptionally thoughtful and patient. If you're lost or can't find the hotel, just contact the front desk manager, and they'll enthusiastically help you sort it out. During my stay, they even helped me print several documents. They also offer a car rental service, and the lobby manager personally doubles as a driver and translator, which was unbelievably convenient. If I ever visit Erbil again, I will definitely stay here and visit these amazing service managers at the front desk. Thank you all! 🫰🫰🫰🙏🙏🙏"

"I spent six nights here in October. In almost every aspect my experience was excellent. The suite I was allocated was spacious and well-equipped. The style of furnishing is traditional rather than modern but the room was very comfortable. The bath/shower could perhaps be upgraded to match the standard of the rest of the room. Breakfast and meals from the upstairs restaurant were very good and wifi worked well. There is also a pool and spa, but I did not use them. I did, though, use the gym. It is well equipped with machines and free weights (some of the broken attachements for the weights machines shouldf be replaced though) but my main complaint was that it was extremely hot - 27 degrees. It didn't help that the door was left open (allowing all the heat from the spa and pool in) and that some of the people working out kept adjusting the air conditioning to make it hotter. But overall I enjoyed my stay very much and woud happily visit again."
