"Our first impression of the hotel was good. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. However, that’s basically it for the positives. There was no tv service for 2 days There was a snow storm the first day but the second day was nice and sunny so not sure what the problem was. We also booked this hotel based on previous reviews of the breakfast. We were so disappointed. No mix for the waffle maker, only some over salted sausage, hard bread. No fruit and just orange juice in a plastic container. It was really the worst continental breakfast I have ever had. The lady working the kitchen was visibly frustrated which made it even worse. I won’t be staying here again. There are so many other places to choose from."

"Basic, clean room. Very confusing layout; entrance is not at the front of the building, but rather on the back corner and hard to locate with no clear signs or markings. Breakfast was old coffee a piece of shrink-wrapped fruit. Ugh. Floor plan was unnecessarily confusing but staff was nice."

"This was our accommodation before heading to Carlsbad. The location was great, and the management was decent. Since we arrived on a Sunday, none of the nearby restaurants were open, so we had to drive about 20 minutes to a neighboring town for a meal. If you have a morning timed entry for Carlsbad, I would recommend staying at this place."

"Great room! Staff was warm and greeted you anytime you entered the lobby. room was clean and well stocked. Accessible room had a wonderful shower, w/c accessible open with roll in door. Breakfast Buffett with scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, biscuits & sausage, as well as cereal, fruits, toast options, milk, OJ and apple juice. Attendant was very attentive. Recommend this Inn based on staff and cleanliness. 25 minutes from Carlsbad."
