Travelodge Kasane ★★★
"Gave me the wrong room type but ended up changing it back to the proper one. The staff was incredible and super helpful. The food was totally awful and way too expensive. Please do not eat dinner there, buffet was probably the worst I’ve ever had."
Chobe River Lodge ★★★★
"I can't say enough about the experience at the Chobe River Lodge! During my 3-night stay, I did two safari rides and two river cruises - all arranged through the lodge. Super convenient! The lodge also arranged for my transfer from Victoria Falls to Kasane, and provided me with a ride to the Kasane airport on my day of departure. Great room, comfortable bed and good meals provided by the lodge. This is a great property for solo travelers, and the ease of booking activities through the lodge made things very easy for me."
Tlou Safari Lodge ★★★
"We stayed here for two nights and it a great place to stay. The self catering apartments are all very spacious and well equipped with great facilities. The beds were very comfortable too. Unfortunately the food wasn’t the greatest but it wasn’t a big problem. The staff were friendly. It doesn’t serve alcohol but they let you bring your own. There’s a small pool area. It’s also conveniently located next to a Nando’s and filling station and a couple of other shops."
Beulah Court Vineyard ★★★★
Rustiek Hotel ★★
"Checked in on July 5th and checked out on July 6th. Enter the hotel in Kasane, Botswana from Zimbabwe on the platform. The male staff at the front desk was kind and answered all our questions. He told us how to visit Chobe National Park, helped us contact the cruise ship that afternoon, and told us the shuttle bus time from Kasane to Maun, although we later chose to fly. Went to Maun and personally drove us to the airport the next day. Here, I would like to thank the black front desk staff. The hotel does not occupy a very large area, but it has parking spaces and a restaurant. We had dinner at the hotel. I chose pork rice. There were four taels of roasted pork. It was fragrant and very delicious. The room is large, the bed is big enough to sleep four people at the same time, but the furniture is simple and the shower and toilet are separated; there is wireless Internet, but the speed is slow. The breakfast on the 6th was very unpleasant. I paid for the room rate including breakfast on the platform, but I was told that I had to pay for breakfast. I immediately contacted xc. After negotiating with the hotel, the platform persuaded me to pay for breakfast and then reimburse it with the invoice at xc. Although the platform finally solved our breakfast problem and reimbursed our breakfast fee, I still felt that there was no link. There was a problem because when we checked in, the front desk said we didn't pay, so we had to contact xc to solve the problem. The breakfast charge is clearly marked, I remember it was 80 pula per person, but the hotel accountant quoted xc 120 pula per person, which is a bit unreasonable."
Destiny Blo Inn ★★
"What a great place to stay! The room was perfect with a comfortable bed, hot shower, all in a beautiful, quiet setting. The food was delicious. The property is set in a farming community and the owner is a local working with the community for sustainable balance between tourism and agriculture, the kind of place we try and support. Chimney (the owner) was the best guide we’ve had in 2+ months in Africa. His knowledge was incredible and included all birds, plus he spotted things we never would have and showed tremendous respect for the environment. Highly recommend!"
chobe sunset chalets ★★★
"The staff were friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our chalet was clean and comfortable, with reliable WiFi (thanks to the router being placed outdoors) and even a fitness machine for a quick workout. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the staff catered well to the vegetarian members of our party. We found it to be an ideal base for day trips to Chobe National Park or Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. The only small drawback was a rooster on a nearby property crowing at dawn, but with earplugs, it was wasn't too noticeable."
Wild View Resort ★★★
"We stayed overnight 31 December 2025 checking out 01 January 2026 as a family of two adult males, one adult female and one female child. The place is quite homely. Staff at the hotel from check-in and all areas we interacted with were very welcoming and helpful. The buffet dinner was reasonably priced, and excellent, the same for the breakfast. Restaurant staff served well and both meals had reasonable varieties. The layout of the restaurant on the inside and the outside was quite good and refreshing. While we did not use the pool it provided a relaxing environment to the outside garden at th back of the restaurant and adjoining the restuarant."
Mwandi View ★★★
"Mwandi View Lodge truly feels like a home away from home. The incredible wildlife at the waterhole and stunning sunsets create a magical atmosphere. The accommodations are very comfortable, and the relaxing pool adds to the experience. Delicious meals and helpful advice on activities and destinations enhanced our fantastic visit. The exciting and fun night drive was a highlight. Its close proximity to the spectacular Chobe National Park is a major plus. Our only regret is having to leave! We would strongly recommend Mwandi View for those wishing to leave the beaten track and have a more genuine African experience."

River View Lodge
"The lodge was a real haven, situated on the river bank and provided the perfect place to rest after a long day’s travel. The staff were extremely friendly, the rooms were spotless and the food excellent! Really one of the most welcoming and pleasant environments in the area."
Gem Villa Inn
"Good location, clean spacious rooms and allows you to prepare your own meals. The staff is very welcoming. They also offer activities like game drive, boat cruise, tour to the Kazungula bridge where four countries meet (Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Namibia -called the quadripoint), Quad biking and day trip to Victoria falls. I really enjoyed the quadbike experience, whether you are a first time rider they always teach you so perfectly."
Comfort Palace Guesthouse Kasane
"Nestled in the heart of the city, "The Spice Merchant" promises a vibrant culinary experience, drawing inspiration from the rich tapestry of Indian flavors. Upon entering, patrons are enveloped in a warm ambiance, with intricate décor that evokes the allure of a traditional spice market. While the restaurant boasts an impressive menu, it is the masterful execution of classic dishes that truly sets it apart, making it a must-visit for those seeking authentic Indian cuisine. The Food: The menu features a well-curated selection of appetizers, curries, and tandoori specialties, with a particular emphasis on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The "Samosas" are a standout, with crisp, golden-brown pastry encasing a flavorful potato and pea filling that bursts with aromatic spices. The "Butter Chicken" is a testament to the chef's expertise, featuring tender chicken pieces swimming in a creamy, tomato-based sauce that is both rich and balanced. For the adventurous diner, the "Lamb Rogan Josh" offers a complex blend of spices that dance on the palate with every bite. The Service: The staff at "The Spice Merchant" are knowledgeable and attentive, providing personalized recommendations to suit each diner's taste. They are well-versed in the nuances of the dishes, readily explaining the origin of spices and cooking techniques. While service was prompt, there were occasional minor hiccups in coordinating orders during peak hours. Ambiance: The restaurant's design seamlessly blends modern aesthetics with traditional Indian elements, creating an inviting atmosphere. Soft lighting, plush seating, and subtle background music contribute to a relaxed dining experience. The open kitchen layout allows guests to catch glimpses of the culinary artistry in action, adding to the overall dining experience."
Elephant Valley Lodge
"Stayed here 3 nights and loved every minute. Lodges were lovely and comfortable and we felt as though we were enjoying a fabulous adventure every day when venturing out on game drives with very capable guides. Nothing here disappoints. We'll never forget having tasty meals watching wildlife wandering around at their leisure into the watering hole. The food and drink was excellent and the service was delivered with warmth and efficiency. This place is well run by the omnipresent Florence- she always has a smile and a greeting whenever guests return from game drives. A huge thank you to all. Don't hesitate to book this place- it's simply wonderful!"
Chobe Safari Lodges
"We had an amazing stay, food was delicious, rooms very comfortable, staff super friendly, the only issue we had was trying to organize our own boat trip as we wanted to not be part of a big group. We live in Botswana so we have experienced large tour groups and did not want to be part of a that and we have done this before. Eventually, with the help of the intrepid Solelo we managed to talk to a manager and the problem was solved which meant we had an even better experience on the water. If you are looking for an authentic bush/game experience Chobe Safari Lodge ticks all the boxes, highly recommend."
