"A good, clean hotel for a transit overnight stay, not far from the airport. Perfect for a shower and a good night's sleep. We had a non-smoking room. The beds were very comfortable. The room had everything we needed, including bathrobes. The location is excellent, with many late-night supermarkets nearby. They have a 24-hour front desk and wonderful, friendly staff."

"The hotel and rooms are clean and luxurious in every aspect, with internal panoramic views. The breakfast is varied, and the rooms are very spacious and elegant. The bed is very comfortable. The staff's response time is fast, and I'd like to thank Sisi, the Filipina receptionist, for her kind treatment and for fulfilling our request in choosing the rooms. Thank you, Hyatt Regency Doha."

"Lovely room upgraded on arrival for a small fee. Jaccuzi was a nice touch. Bathroom is gorgeous and we caught a beautiful sunrise and sunset from the 12th floor. Staff were all kind, friendly, helpful. Amenities were basic. Slippers, robe and toothbrushes provided. Drinking water available inside small kitchenette. Ambience was nice, except for unexpected evening rush at hotel lobby area. Disappointed to see people dressed inappropriately, gathering at hotel reception area. Security staff did not ask them to wear proper clothes in public. The hotel should respect local public decency customs amd I hope they will not encourage such behaviour in future. Very uncomfortable with children on a family break. Breakfast was buffet style. Some fresh food was provided. But, unfortunately a lot of the menu items were processed foods and artificial drinks. Fresh orange juice and detox water was available. Would have liked to have a more healthy breakfast menu for whole family. Eggs benedict was cooked fresh but served with processed meat turkey rashers. Overall, a comfortable stay. Would like to see this hotel improve the standards of upholding public decency and avoid attracting alcoholism and inappropriate social behaviour at this venue."

"Lovely and clean hotel. We got upgraded to 1 bedroom apartment on arrival which was nice. The room had everything you need from shaving equipment to toothbrush and toothpaste. The room had a kitchen which had a washing machine, a living room area with extra television and an extra WC for your convenience. The bedroom was en-suite with bath and shower. Breakfast was amazing. So much variety and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Really loved it."

"The hotel is well-located and clean. The room is spacious and has everything you need. Unfortunately, we stayed during a renovation period, so it was quite noisy at night. The staff did their best to resolve the issue, but there shouldn't be construction work at night when the hotel is occupied."

"I had a wonderful stay at Ramada Encore by Wyndham Doha. The hotel offers excellent facilities and is very well located—just a short walk from the metro station and close to many main attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. What impressed me most was the staff: they were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Their warm hospitality made my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Doha for either business or leisure. Great value for money and an overall pleasant experience!"

"It was very beautiful and clean. The staff were very friendly and very kind. I booked it as birthday trip and they heard me talking about it and gave me a bouquet of roses, Adil the cleaner was very kind and helpful. The food at the buffet wasn’t that great especially breakfast felt like there were not much options, the spices are limited to cater to non ethnic people ( which I understand). But it wasn’t bad food. All inclusive but no soft drinks included or fruit juices! Only provide fruit juices at breakfast."

"This was my second stay at InterContinental Doha, having first stayed during the New Year holiday and now returning again. Coming back for a second visit confirmed exactly why I chose this hotel once more. The hotel is immaculate in every sense. The property is beautifully maintained, the rooms are spotless, and the overall atmosphere is elegant, comfortable, and welcoming. One of the biggest advantages is the location—everything is conveniently nearby, making it an ideal place to stay whether you’re visiting for leisure or business. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its people. A special thank you to Priyanka at Reception. From the moment I arrived, she made an outstanding first impression through both her professionalism and her warm personality. The check-in process was smooth, efficient, and welcoming, and she immediately made me feel valued as a guest. Employees like Priyanka are a perfect reflection of the high standards of hospitality that InterContinental Doha represents. I would also like to recognize Mr. Ali Fouani, Front Office Manager. At this point, Mr. Ali feels more like family than hotel staff. His kindness, genuine care for guests, humility, and professionalism are on another level. It is rare to meet someone who consistently goes above and beyond while remaining so approachable and sincere. He has a remarkable ability to make guests feel appreciated and at home, and his leadership is clearly reflected in the exceptional service throughout the hotel. Experiences like these are the reason I continue to return. InterContinental Doha has become one of my favorite hotels in the region, not only because of its beautiful facilities and excellent location, but because of the incredible people who make every stay memorable. I will absolutely stay here again and again, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for exceptional hospitality in Doha."

"I lived in Doha many years ago, so I booked the rooms in this hotel for the location which is excellent. I have also paid a good rate as I booked those quite in advance (about 50 quid per night, per room). Unfortunately our staying was not that great. I am not really happy to write this review, because all the staff are extremely polite, courteous, and well mannered, all of them, really nice staff. However, feedback and reviews are given 'here and now', so to better describe the circumstances encountered during the visit. PROS - Very easy/hassle free check in/out, strong wi-fi, polite staff, super location, amenities near by and on site, comfy bed, super shower, overall cleanliness of the hotel. CONS - Upon check in, I asked for two rooms not near the lifts, as it could get busy and noisy. The receptionist said 'ok no problem' and, guess what, one room was far from the lifts, but my one was right next to it. Upon entering the rooms, in my room the bath mat was missing and I had to call them asking for one. In the other room, there was a tray with food leftovers in the fridge. Considering that the rooms were just been cleaned up, it is really bad. We had to call the house-keeping to have it removed and the fridge cleaned. The hair drier is kinda secured/clipped to the wall and it cannot be taken to the bath. I asked how we are supposed to dry our hairs if the drier is not in front of the mirror, they replied 'use the TV screen as a mirror!'. The coffee mugs and drinking glasses were never changed or washed, we had to wash them ourselves. On the kitchenette top, there was some coffee powder, that was never wiped off during our entire stay. Once back in the room, on the first evening, I realized that there were 3 pillow cases missing out of 4. I had to call them up asking to bring some and put them on. The house keeping were always missing something everyday, and we had to call them many times. The lifts are key-operated but they only allow the guests to their room floor. Mine was on 9th floor, the other was on 7th floor. We had to use the staircase if we wanted to go to each othe room which, by the way, was dirty. They have a metal detector at the entrance which is very noisy. The lobby is kinda smallish and gets cramped and busy at a times. Overall, it didn't feel like a 4* hotel, but more of a budget hotel. The house-keeping needs to improve and so the room cleanliness."
