"When we arrived at the hotel, we received a warm welcome. The lady at the reception, who I believe was the manager, handled our check-in quickly and efficiently. However, when we entered our room, we were shocked. The floors and the areas around the windows were covered in dust, and it seemed that only the bed sheets had been changed. Dust was literally floating in the air. Both my daughter and I have dust allergies, so we immediately left the room and informed the reception. To make matters worse, there was a spider web hanging from one of the lamps, making it feel as if the room had not been properly attended to for months. Even if the room cleaning had been done poorly, we were surprised that there appeared to be no quality control or inspection process in place. After we reported the issue, the room was cleaned quickly. However, when we returned, the spider web was still hanging from the lamp, which showed that the cleaning had not been done thoroughly. The next morning, we experienced our second disappointment at breakfast. There were almost no croissants, bread, or other breakfast items left, and there was not even any hot water available. Only one person was working in the kitchen. When we mentioned the situation to him, he explained that he had just started the job and was trying his best to keep up. We tried to make do with whatever food was available and even brought tea from our room in order to have breakfast. As someone who travels frequently, I am sorry to say that this was one of the worst hotel stays I have experienced so far. This was a trip that my family and I had been looking forward to with great excitement, but unfortunately, it was overshadowed by the issues mentioned above. I sincerely hope the hotel addresses these problems. People spend months planning and looking forward to their vacations, and I hope future guests will not have their experience ruined in the same way ours was."

"I booked this hotel for one night because I had a flight the day after. The facilities are all new. The room is spacious. The hotel offers free pickup from airport and you need to pay €6 for the shuttle bus from hotel to airport. The only problem is that it is not very convenient to travel to restaurants and malls (need to walk ~15mins to the nearest bus stop and the bus frequencies are not high). "Nice clean hotel, location is near the train station, short walk but not easy with luggage as the path passes a dyke so stairs up and down. Note the town is about 40 minutes walk away. Airport is one train stop but shuttle bus is available, free from airport return is €5 Rooms are large and clean, nice shower. Large TV, Wife kettle tea and coffee. Restaurant and vending machine is available. Good value for money"

"All in all, pretty good. We were looking for an affordable, last-minute room near Keukenhof during the long May 1st weekend. Everything was quite standard and a bit dated, but clean, and it served its purpose. The staff was very friendly! The parking situation is actually great; we just had the bad luck of arriving in the evening while a wedding was happening in the event hall downstairs. This meant there were no parking spaces left, but I think that was a special circumstance. We just parked on the grass, like many others, so it wasn't a problem in the end."

"The staff were excellent, and the room was very clean and spacious. I stayed for three days. The airport shuttle bus is free if you're a member. The room is quite large, which makes this hotel more convenient than staying in the city center if you're flying in and out of Amsterdam within 2-3 days, as you don't have to drag your luggage into the city. Plus, you get more space. The price always fluctuates; sometimes booking early is more expensive than booking closer to the date. I booked early and ended up paying over 700 more for three days. (I don't recommend the breakfast. We bought two separate breakfasts for 19 euros per person, and there was very little to eat – mostly basic bread items. It's not even close to the quality of breakfast you'd find at a 4 or 5-star chain hotel in Sweden). Overall, I'm satisfied and would recommend it."

"The good: -The room and bathroom was spacious and comfortable. -On site parking (25€/night). The bad: -As you enter this establishment, there is a big sign saying that we need to help the hotel reduce their carbon footprint by asking the staff not to clean our room. To go with the text there is a picture of a sad looking polar bear (of course, always the polar bear). I'm wondering, if my room is not cleaned, do I pay a cheaper rate, because cleaning is included in the price? If not, I'm wondering if this hotel has joined the climate cult just because it's a great way to gain money. Make people feel guilty about having a clean room, and you need less cleaning staff , less cleaning products, less time…."

"The hotel is located near Amsterdam Airport, so it's a bit out of the way with limited surrounding amenities, making transportation inconvenient. The room was generally clean, but the decor is dated and the soundproofing is poor. Service was acceptable, with prompt front desk responses. It's suitable for business travelers catching early flights, but not recommended as a base for sightseeing. Value for money is just average."

"Stayed less than 24hrs for my 6am flight. Direct bus to the airport and really good for a layover (6 mins bus ride). No loud airplanes sounds! The bus stop just next to hotel (with lift!). Closest town is Hoofddorp, 6-9 mins ride! They hv a good mall and location. Instead of walk to mcd nearby hotel, i opted for this and had real proper meal. Hotel is cosy with coffee/teas in room. No fridge (i dont need this) the deco at the lobby and rooms are so nice. ”Instaworthy”. Friendly receptionist. Fast checkin and out."

"Since my flight arrived at 7 PM, I didn't want to rush around, so I chose to stay here for a night before heading to another city. The hotel is very comfortable and elegant, with beautiful decor. Plus, it has three restaurants, which is very convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time."

"This is my 2nd time to stay this hotel. We stayed 2nd floor room 240 this time, WIFI OK, AIRCON didn't work or we might mistook to use? And Floor was bit dusty , I regret I didn't bring my slippers. Coffee Maker was very helpful. Cups were so cute, And message on it's bottom was so funny. I found many people stole it. ”This was stplen from BASTION HOTEL.” hahaha Shower water pressure was perfect. Especially thank to Shuttle service. Thank you very much.
