Cheap Hotels in Vientiane

"I usually choose hotels with a rating of 4.7 and over 500 reviews within my budget. This hotel didn't quite meet those criteria, but I booked it immediately after seeing a negative review complaining about the 'no smoking in rooms' policy! I absolutely detest cigarette smoke! It's fantastic that smoking is prohibited! First of all, I was traveling alone, and the room size was not small, and the cleanliness was also good. The service was decent, the breakfast was excellent, and the fruit was fresh. I'd deduct some points for the facilities: Although there was no window, the fresh air system made it not stuffy, which is a plus. The hairdryer was subpar, still using a slow 1000W model. I'd suggest sourcing some high-speed hairdryers from China (many brands available, low cost). The power outlets only had five-hole sockets. I recommend sourcing some panels with Type-C/USB ports from China, which wouldn't add much to the cost (you can find these easily at Huaqiangbei in China). The air conditioning was powerful, but even at the lowest fan speed, the noise was still significant. So I opted to turn off the AC and the fresh air system for a good night's sleep, as sleeping well is very important! Overall, I still highly recommend this hotel, which is completely smoke-free and prohibits durian. It was perfect for me!"

"We stayed here for 8 days and 7 nights, and it was a very comfortable stay. The owner is kind, friendly, and very helpful. He is always ready to assist whenever you need anything, which made us feel very welcome. This place truly feels like home. The hotel is conveniently located near the Vientiane Night Market and the city center, both within walking distance. There are also plenty of nearby amenities, including Mini Big C, banks, restaurants, and cafés, all within a 1 km radius. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again."

"As always, upon entering All Seasons, I was greeted by a lovely tea fragrance. The front desk staff speak Chinese and can also help with currency exchange and booking taxis, so the service is excellent. The hotel environment is clean and tidy, very close to the airport, and peacefully overlooks the Mekong River. The breakfast is also delicious, with both Chinese and Western options, which is fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Professional, kind, helpful and enthusiastic reception. My days were beautiful staying in a very good location and easy to walk around visiting temples. I am not expected the break fast complimentary but I get my simple breakfast boiled rice and sandwiches with coffee. The room is clean, toliet is clean. Thank you for a memorable time in Vientiane. Mixay paradise hotel will not make you disappointed... They deserved good score and highly recommendation."

"Stayed here for about 10 night. Tried all facilities in the hotel. Hotel is clean but on the last night Was told to change room to level 6 facing the aircon. The tv was atrocious with no connection to the football channel nor internet. Other than that location and room on 09 level facing Mekong river was great."

"I was very satisfied with the service. The surrounding shopping malls were convenient, and the room was relatively clean, with staff cleaning it daily. Smoking is not allowed indoors, only outdoors or on the open-air terrace on the fourth floor."

"Hotel near the airport. Pros: 1. The hotel is very close to the airport, allowing you to get there in literally 10 minutes on foot or 2 minutes by car. 2. The hotel offers a free airport shuttle service. 3. Rooms and showers are spacious. 4. The hotel looks modern. 5. Some rooms have a great river view. 6. Disposable amenities are provided (slippers, toothbrushes, soap). Cons: 1. The balcony was very dirty. 2. The breakfast selection was very limited, which is surprising for a hotel of this caliber. 3. You need to have $20 in cash for the security deposit upon check-in. This is a very outdated policy. After checking out, you have to wait for the room to be inspected before you can get your deposit back. 4. The room design is outdated. More importantly, it leads to discomfort. For example, the sink is so low that it's very awkward to use."

"I had an enjoyable stay here, considering I was very unwell. Room was exceptionally clean (cleaner than some i’ve stayed in back home in Australia), newly renovated bathroom is small BUT perfectly enough My only complaint about my room (this may not apply to other rooms), is the water pressure was SO HIGH. This made the spray gun next to the toilet almost impossible to use without it being painful. There would be about a 5-6 second time frame where it would lose most pressure and be usable, but then shoot back to the usual pressure. The shower also had pressure and temperature issues, every 30 seconds or so it would lose pressure and temperature, and then shoot back up way beyond the set temperature. It was pretty frustrating!"

"This hotel is located in Sanjiang China Town, and it's one of the more impressive ones in the area. With a large supermarket and Chinese restaurants nearby, the location is quite convenient. The rooms are spacious and new, with amenities comparable to a five-star hotel back home. The service is also excellent, with very prompt responses. They even offer free airport transfers. Breakfast on the second day was decent, with freshly cooked dumplings, rice noodles, and regular noodles available. The only awkward part is that the hotel is situated in a small alleyway filled with adult entertainment establishments. I was traveling with my parents, and thankfully, they thought they were legitimate beauty salons, barbershops, and massage parlors. Otherwise, that would have been quite a scene, phew!"

"Viryla, like a fine wine gets better each time I stay. It's location is fantastic: near the Mekong and the fine seafood restaurants and clubs along it's banks, 800m to the night market and international dining zone and only a short tuk tuk/taxi ride to the airport. Rooms have good quality amenities: Aircon, showers, safes and a bed you bed down a Princess with her pea on. Free toiletries are important and these are provided, including a cap. But bring your own razor for shaving in this haven from the bustle of the city centre. Service is excellent so give them your biggest tip."
