Cheap Hotels in Fuji City

"Amazing Mount Fuji views right from the window! The hotel is next to the city hall, about a 20-minute walk from the Dream Bridge. Convenience stores are a bit of a walk, about five or six minutes away. The hotel's green tea is delicious, and the room was very clean. Just remember to change into slippers in the lobby!"

"Relatively new hotel. Located next to main highway, only problem with driving is having to make a long way along the highway to u turn, otherwise pleasant place to stay. Breakfast average. Onsen average."

"The hotel is very close to Fuji Station, right outside the exit. The facilities are a bit old, but the rooms are larger than those in Tokyo. Overall, it's clean and offers good value for money. There aren't many convenience stores nearby; you have to walk a bit to find a 7-Eleven, but there's a small convenience store next to the ticket gate inside Fuji Station that can suffice. Although it's next to the station, it's relatively quiet at night, as JR Tokai doesn't have many late-night services. On clear days, you can see Mount Fuji from the pedestrian bridge at the station. Fuji Station is served by the Tokaido Main Line and the Minobu Line (terminus). Fuji City isn't a tourist city; it's an industrial one, so a one-day trip to hit the main spots is usually enough."

"I visited with my mother and our toddler. Since my mother gets cold easily, I informed the hotel beforehand, and they warmed the room very nicely for us. They also prepared meals for our toddler, and I was deeply moved by the heartfelt service from all the staff. Although we arrived later than planned, everyone welcomed us warmly, and their hospitality was truly heartfelt. I was also impressed by their willingness to answer our questions and requests to the best of their ability. The bath, overlooking the garden, was fantastic. The view of Mount Fuji from the hotel was also beautiful and breathtaking. The cost performance was excellent, and the meals were generous in portion size—more than we could eat! Thank you so much for everything! ^_^"

"Clean hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, and great value. The parking was very convenient, and seeing Mt. Fuji made the stay even more special. We had a very comfortable stay."

"They offer complimentary drinks and snacks in the evening. For breakfast, make sure to go early, or you'll have to queue. It's clean and hygienic. The only downside is that I didn't get to see Mount Fuji during my visit to what I assume is Fujisan Yumeno Ohashi (Dream Bridge)."

"【Price】At 260 RMB per night, it offers good value for money. 【Room】As expected from a 'non-smoking hotel', there was absolutely no smoky smell. It's a classic Japanese business hotel room, which means it's a bit cramped with a small window that only opens slightly and has a privacy film, making the room feel a bit stuffy. However, the mattress was very comfortable. 【Amenities】You can pick up small packets of skincare products downstairs, including face cream, facial cleanser, makeup remover, and face masks. There are several different types of pillows available for selection on the first floor. 【Food & Beverage】In the evening, there's a self-service bar where you can mix your own cocktails. Breakfast is a standard Japanese breakfast. 【Service】The front desk staff spoke a little English but no Chinese. When speaking Japanese, however, their enthusiasm and politeness were very evident. 【Facilities】There are plenty of coin-operated washing machines on the first floor, as well as vending machines. You can store your luggage until the afternoon after checking out."

"This was my first time staying at a Toyoko Inn, and initially, I found the high level of self-service a bit overwhelming. Perhaps it was because there were so many guests and everything moved at a fast pace. I think it's more suited for experienced business travelers. The English proficiency of the front desk staff wasn't as good as I'd hoped, and this was consistent across every Toyoko Inn I stayed at afterward. Maybe because of the extensive self-service, the front desk's role is more auxiliary, so strong English skills aren't as crucial. Like all other Toyoko Inns, this one had excellent facilities: water dispensers, ice machines, hot water dispensers, microwaves, coffee makers, vending machines – everything you could need. The breakfast was standard and featured Japanese specialties. The location is unbeatable, just a three-minute walk from the Shin-Fuji Station exit. If I had to pick a downside, the highly standardized management meant it lacked the 'personal touch' many people look for in a hotel. Check-in and check-out times are strictly enforced, and the hotel only handles matters related to your stay; they won't help with local travel guides or transportation questions."

"This is hands down the best hotel in Fuji City. It's our preferred choice, especially when we go on 3-night golf trips with friends. The staff are friendly, the breakfast is delicious, and though a bit compact, the public bath on the first floor boasts excellent water quality. Plus, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. If you're in Fuji City, Route Inn Fuji Higashi Chuo Koen is always the place to stay!"

"The price was good. The location was good. It was clean and clean, but is it because it is old or is it moldy in the air conditioner? I was worried about the dirt like that. And the faucet in the bath"
