Cheap Hotels in Siena

"The apartment is suitable for driving in Tuscany. There is free parking. It takes less than 10 minutes to drive from the old town of Xienna to the apartment. The apartment has a kitchenette and there is Carrefour across the street. It is very convenient, the price is reasonable, and it is recommended!"

"Trip.com really needs to update their main display photos! Before I arrived, I thought this hotel was really old-fashioned, but once I got there, I found it's actually a very legitimate 4-star hotel, and the rooms are quite nice. It's also incredibly close to the main attractions; you can even walk to the train or bus station in about 20 minutes."

"Fantastic stay in Hotel Athena in Siena! They are one of the few hotels that offer free parking within the city walls and outside of the ZTL zone. About 10 mins walk into main town. Definitely took away the headache of the need to look for parking. Also a great base to explore the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Their included buffet breakfast offers a comprehensive spread, tho we wishes that they would change the spread daily! But that's a small issue. They also have a terrace on the 7th floor that looks out to the Tuscan countryside. Wonderful views - check out the attached photo! Overall we definitely recommend this hotel and will be happy to stay here again if we visit again!"

"This isn't a restricted traffic zone (ZTL), so you can drive in without worry. Plus, you won't need a train to visit the old town the next day; it's only about a five-minute walk, which is super convenient. Drive down the slope to the very end, and you'll find a small parking lot. Park there, then walk back up to the slope, take the steps, and turn right. There's a restaurant opposite. It's quite hidden; we spent ages looking for it. It's actually in the room opposite the one shown in picture 10. We stayed in a family room right by the pool. If you have time, you can take a swim and enjoy views of the Siena old town. Siena is a hidden gem of an old town, well worth taking your time to explore. We walked around it one evening and then spent the whole next day there. Siena at night is absolutely captivating. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. This was our first hotel in Italy, and we were extremely satisfied. I highly recommend it to everyone!"

"The location is not far from Piazza del Campo, it can be reached in 10 minutes by bus. I stayed for one night and it was clean and tidy. If you don't have dinner at the restaurant, there is a place nearby that makes very good pizza. It would only be better if there were slippers in the room."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a solid choice for budget-conscious travelers. The price was very reasonable, offering great value for the quality provided. The room was spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, which was a pleasant surprise given the affordable rate. It felt fresh and well-maintained, making my stay comfortable. The hotel includes breakfast in the room rate, which is a nice touch, but the selection was disappointing. The food lacked variety and quality, with limited options that didn’t cater to diverse tastes. It was sufficient to start the day, but don’t expect a standout dining experience. The hotel features a pool, which is a great amenity, but it’s quite small and can feel crowded if multiple guests are using it. It’s fine for a quick dip, but not ideal for serious swimming or lounging. Location-wise, the hotel is a bit far from the city center, which might inconvenience some travelers. Public transportation options, particularly buses, are limited in the evening, so plan accordingly if you intend to explore the city late. A taxi or rideshare might be necessary for evening outings. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, but the connection is slow and unreliable at times, which could be frustrating if you need to work or stream content. For casual browsing, it’s manageable, but don’t expect high-speed performance. The service was satisfactory—staff were polite and responsive, though not overly warm or proactive. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and basic requests were handled efficiently. Overall, this hotel is a good pick for those prioritizing affordability and clean, spacious rooms. However, if you value proximity to the city, robust Wi-Fi, or a stellar breakfast, you might want to consider other options."

"The location of the hotel is very good. The service and communication provided are top notch. Breakfast is sufficient and service is good. I wish there were slippers in the room."

"entrance to the hotel is not clear, the parking space is not paved (it was raining and due that our suitcases and shoes have been totally dirty) room was good and big. shower was not cleaned neatly. the pool is okay the breakfast is like the other comments say. it’s in the cellar, you don’t feel welcome there and it’s not comfy, coffee was good"

"If its your first time to come to siena , you should stay in this hotel because its easy to find , comes with breakfast and so close to public transport , shopping mall and train station . Rooms are clean and the heater works very well. I definitely come back"
