Hotel Executive
"The ceiling was fallen down and it was luckily we were not injured!"
Villa del Sole Siena
"The room is large and quiet, the scenery around the hotel is picturesque, and there is a Black Pearl restaurant in the hotel. The location of the hotel is a bit difficult to find. The self-driving navigation took a long time to drive around. Be sure to call the hotel front desk in advance to confirm the arrival time and self-driving route."
Relais la Corte dei Cavalieri
"Great location on the edge of Siena. Easily walkable from the train/Bus station. Siena itself is beautiful, as are the rooms in this B&B. Street was a little loud but nothing to be done about that Host was very welcoming and informative on the area. Breakfast provided was good for the low price."
Mercure Petriolo Siena Terme Spa Hotel
"A beautiful and very elegant property, nestled in nature and surrounded by forests, which makes soaking in the tubs even more relaxing. Everything is meticulously maintained."
Il Chiostro Del Carmine
"The hotel is an old cloister and is picturesque, but there is no elevator and carrying suitcases is a bit heavy. The buffet breakfast is quite complete, but poorly organized and they do not replenish what is running out quickly. The beds are comfortable, but you can hear those in the next room and those in the room above."
Hotel Athena
"The hotel is older, but its well maintained, clean, and the staff provide excellent service. I’d definitely stay there again if I were visiting Sienna. It’s the closest you can stay without entering the ZTL, and walking distance from the Duomo."
Casa di Osio
"reception or welcome upon arrival. The room and common areas were dirty, with two shared bathrooms for five rooms. Our room had no window, no ventilation, poor heating despite freezing temperatures, and strong mold smell throughout. Soundproofing was non-existent. This place is seriously misrepresented and absolutely unsuitable for families."
Four Points by Sheraton Siena
"The shower head is a bit dirty I’d say. The room is ok spacious and clean though."
Torre del Fuggisole
"It's not everyday one stays in a medieval watch tower which has been very sympathetically renovated into a lovely boutique hotel, with a wonderful top level indoor terrace and gorgeous views. Perfectly located for all the sights in Siena. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We mostly interacted with Sara who was a fabulous host, giving us lots of suggestions for things to see and do. We were celebrating a special wedding anniversary and had the wonderful surprise of coming back to prosecco, glasses and snacks - made all the more special by being able to enjoy it at the top indoor terrace. There is the added bonus of some basic self service breakfast items being available in the basement, which was more than enough for us at the start of each day. Can highly recommend."

Villa l' Avvenire
"We were lucky enough to spend 4 nights at the romantic Hotel Villa L'Avvenire in Sienna at the end of June. Set in a classical Italian garden, with a manicured pool area, it is an oasis in the city. The Villa itself is full of Italian charm - cool marble, fresh flowers, a magnificent stair case. Our spacious and delightful room overlooked the park, with an equally spacious and elegant bathroom. Breakfast was served out of doors in the garden, near the lavender and rose beds. The staff were wonderful, so helpful and friendly. With parking on site, it is a great base to visit the beautiful and historic city of Sienna and to tour the hilltop towns of Tuscany, returning in the late afternoon for a swim, to cool down. It is also a five minute drive to the little TVB wine bar, where a passionate chef serves the most delicious Tuscan meals. Go with his recommendations and you will be in for a gourmet treat. We will always remember sitting by the fountain at night listening to the cicadas at Villa L'Avvenire."
Precise House Montaperti Siena
"Good hotel, but the night staff are very bad-tempered, and the way they are treated is aggressive. Excellent daytime employees. Breakfast, excellent kitchen service. Good room, small, reasonable mattress."
Hotel la Colonna
"Shower was poorly designed...i took a shower and the water went right thru the doors and made a mess. I booked it thru Priceline which advertised laundry, and there wasnt. It also listed more amenities but didnt see them....False advertising. Room was okay. Ceiling light bulbs need replaced."
Il Pozzo di Sant'Andrea
"We had a wonderful experience at this Stefano’s place! He was super attentive and caring. The pool was perfect to relax a bit after a hot day. The room was super clean and very well equipped. We had an Italian breakfast included with some nice pastries! We recommend!"
Il Battistero Siena Residenza d'Epoca
"Another hotel in an old building. My research wasn't perfect beforehand. I didn't realize this hotel was located in the old town; cars can't drive in, but you can park elsewhere. The hotel provides a map. Pushing my luggage up from outside the city was really tiring, as it was all uphill, taking about ten minutes. The location is indeed excellent; Siena Cathedral is right next door. This is the second hotel in Italy where I got three keys! Haha, Italian hotels have so many keys! The mini elevator is only for luggage; you have to climb stairs, thankfully only two floors. It's a winding path through four or five doors—very medieval, isn't it? I booked a two-bedroom room. The room and bathroom were large, and the bedding was the most comfortable I've ever had. My mother's room had a problem with the air conditioning; it was cold. I had my own room, which was very warm. The shower water pressure was great, very good. The street is right outside the window. It's quiet at night with few people. In the morning, I opened the window and saw parents taking their children to school; the old town felt real at that moment. I stayed one night; Siena is perfect for a cirywalk. It was wonderful."
Domus Il Palio
"I do not recommend it...We arrived at 6:40pm and there was no one to open the door or greet us, I was calling for a long time and they did not answer, until they answered they told me that they would send me a video on WhatsApp to enter, the key to the room they left it in a pot. We didn't see anyone until the next day when the room was delivered at 10:00 am! 10am! You pay for a few hours! Additionally, when we left, they charged us 5 euros as a tourist tax when on trip it appears that it was 4. Very bad, the room is fine. But the service and the way they work very poorly."
Piazza Paradiso Accommodation
"Avoid this place if you have large luggages. No lifts. We were traveling Europe for two weeks, and had rather large luggages. Wasn't fun! No one at the front desk after 3 PM, rather difficult to find any help. "
Al Mercato B&B
"This B&B offers a complete unit with two bedrooms, a small kitchenette, a full bathroom, and a front-facing balcony. The excellent amenities were particularly welcome, especially after several days of travel, as we had just arrived in the North following stays in Naples, Sorrento, and Bari. Most importantly, it boasts a fantastic location near Piazza Maggiore."
Palazzo del Magnifico B&B
"Arrived on the evening of the 12th, departed on the 14th during the day. We were super happy to have chosen this accommodation to stay in Siena. Super attentive and responsive hosts, super clean and warm accommodation and the most wonderful thing was of course the location of the accommodation. We will return with great pleasure! Thank you very much"
Relais Degli Angeli Residenza d'Epoca
"The room was nice, luxuriously decorated, and in a good location."
Palazzetto Rosso - Art Hotel
"Uniquely styled art hotel with great service and amazing, large rooms where Italian design meets history"
La Villa
"Sound insulation is a bit bad"
B&B Pantaneto - Palazzo Bulgarini
"The property is in an excellent central location. We left the car just outside the historic area and walked there in a few minutes. It's a beautiful historic building, the staff are very kind and helpful, and the room is beautiful with a frescoed vaulted ceiling. It's a good value for money."
Albergo Tre Donzelle
Palazzo Ravizza
"The room is so quaint, it seems to be a house that is hundreds of years old, but it is well maintained and has an elevator. I really like their room style. The shampoo and bath gel in the bathroom smells so good that I even bought their soap. The breakfast is average, but the experience of staying here is very good. The blue sky of Siena at night is so beautiful!"
Hotel Santa Caterina
"Very, very good! I looked at the pictures on Ctrip before and felt it was very ordinary. I was very surprised after checking in. Because I stayed for three consecutive nights, the triple room I booked was upgraded to a suite with two bedrooms, two living rooms and two bathrooms, which was huge. The view outside the room window is very beautiful. See Figures 1 to 4 outside the living room window, Figure 5 is the view of the public area, and Figure 6 is the living room. This suite cannot be booked online, but can be booked by email or phone. It is really worth it and highly recommended! The hotel is located just outside the gate of Siena. If you drive by yourself, the ZTL in the city cannot be driven in, so it is very convenient to stay in this hotel. It takes 2 minutes to walk to the city gate and more than ten minutes to walk to Piazza del Campo. The hotel has parking spaces, which need to be paid separately."
