Cheap Hotels in Lanzarote

"The hotel is modern and well located across from the (closed) beach. Reception and all other staff are pleasant and helpful. My room was clean, large and airy with a small balcony over a side street - table, 2 chairs and an extendable clothes rail. Bathroom equally clean and spacious, the shower area huge, the water hot, tissues replaced daily. Breakfast was a good mix for all tastes, items replenished as necessary. I tried the buffet one evening and found that fairly dreadful, apart from the salad bar. Fortunately there are lots of places locally for decent food."

"The location provided isn't very accurate compared to its actual spot. The pools are 'boxed in' by the buildings and are smaller than they appear in photos. The front desk person who checked us in was very kind; we asked for a recommendation and it was spot on. However, there aren't enough reception staff to handle the large number of guests checking in and out. We really disliked the system for contacting reception; there's no direct phone line, the switchboard just forwards calls, but no one answers... after trying for 4 days before our arrival, it was impossible to get through."

"Best 4 star hotel!! Initially we were worried about an all inclusive 4 star hotel. What if services, food, drink and entertainment aren’t good, we will be stuck! However, they changed our mind the minute we got there. As I approached the counter, they welcomed us and said they would check if our room was ready. Although it’s not, they took our bags for us and gave us a card (which allowed us to go and have lunch without extra cost) so we could start enjoying our time at the hotel. The room was clean and we loved the deco. We loved the attention to detail too! You can tell a lot of thoughts have gone into the design of the room. We love the food there too. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner every day we were there. Apart from the usual kids’ favourite, the main dishes were different at every meal every day. I particularly enjoyed the freshly cooked fish and paellas; and the Halloween themed night meal. The animación team was excellent. They were very good with my kids. My youngest was a bit shy to start with at the kids club. One of the staff gave her a lot of special attention to help her settle in. The evening entertainment was better than expected too. We really enjoyed the acrobat show. It’s not exactly BGT standard but it’s definitely entertaining enough to keep all of us happy. It’s also 10 mins away by car from the airport. We actually took the bus on the way there. It cost 1.40 eur per person and it stopped right opposite the hotel. On the way back, taxi cost 13-15eur. We also love that there is a beautiful beach right next to the hotel. It’s so thoughtful that there is a shower and towels right next to the gate so you could clean your feet before getting back to the hotel. If there’s anything to complain about, I would say the steam room wasn’t working during my stay!"

"Amazing hotel! The location, at the quieter end of PDC, 5/10 mins from Airport and only €1.40 on local bus (161). Still besides shops, bars & restaurants but with this being an All Inclusive hotel I never had to spent a cent. Beer, wines, coffee, soft drinks on tap…literally, but has also numerous bars around the place with great service. Three restaurants, two of which you need to book in advance (Asian & Canarian), food is plentiful and of a very good standard. You could not go hungry! The cleaning & maintenance team are like a small army, the place is spotless and nothing gets overlooked. I’d fully recommend!!!"

"Nice and clean and great location. Street it is on felt a little dark and we were wary walking down it at night. Only downside was noise levels , everything seemed to echo so we could hear doors slamming, people walking and talking all night, shower from room upstairs etc Would recommend especially for price and value."

"A very large resort a small supermarket but if not all inclusive would be a problem as to getting cabs to the local town could get expensive Night life for kids good but adults cannot even seat outside in the evening s with a drink as pool bar closes at 6 pm Unless you go to the payable restaurants and champs sports bar not very good if paid for all inclusive We was in block 7 but as there are still steps to the lift if getting on a bit would be a problem as me and my wife 70 and 65 years Overall as we had our son his wife and 3 small grandchildren but they 4 minutes walk away why we wasn’t put nearer each other one would never know but we did not book at the same time they were near the reception and dinning room but did have a few cockroaches in there room trying to use the microwave Overall good resort large pools"

"Visited the hotel Fariones at the beginning of November. The hotel has had a complete renovation and has been finished to a very high standard with beautiful decor and stunning finishing touches. Our Junior Suite was beautiful with a great size balcony and stunning sea views. The pool, gardens and surroundings are too absolutely stunning. The staff are great and particularly Elke and Miriam were there each day which was great and both very helpful. The other staff were all very hardworking and friendly. We had a small issue with one team member that was addressed quickly. There were some teething problems: We were half board, the breakfast was good with varied choices including cava. We found the evening buffet to be a little hit and miss. The salad buffet was good, but the main cooking station was a little uninspiring and most of the foods were luke warm and not very appealing. I had not seen any chicken on any of the evenings we ate there. The desserts were varied with a wide choice. We decided to try the al a carte restaurant on a couple of evenings which was table service. The Asian menu we found to be too overly sauced with strong overpowering flavours. The other menu Enrizo was disappointing, I was very much looking forward to the lobster starter- it was very cold almost frozen and had no flavour my husband found his to be the same (had we closed our eyes we would not have known what was being served). The staff are lovely and work very hard but unfortunately some are not trained to the level required for table service in the al a carte restaurant. We only paid a small surcharge to eat here. At times, the service felt quite rushed. Had i booked and paid around 150 euros with wine I’d be quite disappointed and not sure I’d visit again. Pool service was poor at times. I would be concerned in busy times. It was difficult getting a drink around the pool. Often we would have to attend the bar (we were not the only people with this problem). I would hope this can be improved for the future. The negatives have not deterred us from revisiting in the future, my only hope is these small niggles can be rectified. Thank you"

"The hotel is a few minutes drive from the airport, about half an hour from the attractions, free parking, very convenient, the hotel room is still big, but the facilities are a bit old."
