"I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this homestay and can recommend it wholeheartedly. From the very beginning, the hospitality was exceptional. The owner picked me up from the railway station, which was included in the price. Even more impressively, they also drove me back to the station when I left, completely free of charge and purely out of kindness. When I realized that I had accidentally booked a room with a tatami mattress that was too firm for my liking, they immediately offered me an upgrade to a different room for free. The owner went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable throughout my stay. She provided all the information I needed, was always happy to help and even invited me to join them for a meal. Her English is excellent, which made communication effortless and made me feel especially welcome as an international traveler. The homestay itself was clean, comfortable and well-equipped, but what truly sets this place apart is the warmth, kindness and generosity of the hosts. They made me feel less like a customer and more like a guest in their home. Thank you for such a memorable experience. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Let me start by saying: I highly recommend this guesthouse, it's perfect for families traveling with children! The guesthouse is right in the center of the village, making it incredibly convenient to get everywhere. If the kids get tired while playing, you can return to the room to rest at any time. Compared to staying outside the village, this saves a huge amount of time going back and forth, making family trips so much less stressful. Vehicles can't enter the Dong village, so the hotel arranged a shuttle service in sections. Staff helped carry all our luggage throughout, so we didn't have to worry about a thing, which was a very pleasant surprise. I initially thought it was just an ordinary guesthouse, but after staying, I felt the quality was on par with many five-star hotels. You could tell from every small detail that the owner has very high standards for quality. The hairdryer was a Dyson, and every piece of welcome fruit in the room was delicious, even the apples were small New Zealand apples. The fruit forks weren't just ordinary toothpicks; they came with delicate kiwi-shaped accessories. Little touches were everywhere. The tissues, slippers, and toiletries provided in the room were also of excellent quality. Breakfast started at 8 AM. While the variety wasn't extensive, every dish was meticulously prepared, and the ingredients were top-notch. I especially recommend the beef noodles; the beef was butchered fresh that day, ensuring maximum freshness. We're from Guangdong and are typically picky about food standards, but this place completely satisfied us, and the staff were very friendly to children. The room's cleanliness was impeccable, exceeding our expectations. Even the children's slippers were so clean that we momentarily thought they were complimentary. The bedding was also very comfortable. The room even came with a washer-dryer and laundry disinfectant, solving the problem of washing dirty clothes when traveling with kids – truly thoughtful. After checking in, we upgraded to Room 310, a two-story Loft with two beds, and the view was absolutely stunning. Key point: you *must* try this room! Lying in bed, all you see is lush greenery. Stepping onto the balcony, there's a sense of openness as the houses below gradually recede, and you're greeted by vibrant green all around – a fantastic experience. The room also had a large bathtub by the window, where you could soak while enjoying the beautiful scenery outside, very relaxing. The service from the staff made us feel truly at home. While most guesthouses contact guests a day in advance, they proactively created a group two days prior to coordinate our itinerary. They actively reminded us of various services, even thoughtfully informing us about afternoon tea so we wouldn't miss it. The hotel also had special Dong Big Song performances, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the ethnic minority culture without having to jostle with crowds in the village. This trip completely exceeded our expectations. When we left, we genuinely felt a sense of reluctance. Interacting with the staff, you could truly feel that everyone genuinely runs this guesthouse; each staff member treats it as their own home, making the stay experience particularly warm."

"Choosing this hotel in Zhaoxing Dong Village was definitely the best decision! Even though it's a bit of a distance from the main scenic area, the comfort and facilities more than made up for it. The hotel is grand, the rooms are cozy, and the views are absolutely stunning. The service was warm and attentive, and the breakfast was excellent too. The hotel even thoughtfully provided a space heater, which was a nice touch. All in all, this is a perfect place to relax and recharge. Highly recommend!"

"The owner is incredibly kind. We arrived past 11 PM, and they were still waiting for us, picked us up, and helped us with our luggage. We were so touched! The guesthouse scenery is absolutely stunning; the back window overlooks a beautiful rice field. You can even eat meals at the restaurant under a parasol by the rice fields. The guesthouse breakfast is simple, refreshing, and delicious. They also offer free coffee that you can brew yourself. The room was clean, and all the amenities, including toiletries, were well-stocked. Many guesthouses don't provide hand soap, which is inconvenient, but this place had everything, even laundry detergent for delicates. The room was also very spacious. Absolutely fantastic! 👍"

"We stayed in two triple rooms. The hygiene was excellent, and they provided disposable towels. The bathroom was a bit small but perfectly adequate. Staying on the lower floor was better as the soundproofing was improved. Each room had a small balcony overlooking rice fields, offering a beautiful view! (｡•̀ᴗ-) I must commend the service! They offered complimentary afternoon tea, which was delicious and refillable, and each person received a free coffee, which tasted great and could even be taken to go. There was also a free breakfast in the morning. The location is fantastic, very close to the Shangzhai parking lot. They even helped transport our luggage by tricycle. It's also where you catch the transport to the Tang'an Terraces, which is very convenient! They provided transfers both ways, and even dropped us off at the high-speed rail station when we left~ The owner and the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. We tried the Fish King Restaurant they recommended, and it was delicious! I highly recommend the free-range chicken soup!! My colleague stayed here before and recommended it to me, and I'll definitely recommend it to more friends~ Highly recommended!"

"The hotel's location is peaceful yet close to the action. In the morning, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the village. The service is incredibly nice; the butler and all the staff always greet you warmly, and they even bring coffee and fruit right to your door. It's not just great service, but also very heartwarming, making our trip to Zhaoxing Dong Village truly wonderful. I'll definitely come back next time. I love the hustle and bustle, as well as the tranquility of the village, and I love the people and the scenery here. It's fantastic!"

"Yuyetang is a fabulous guesthouse in the midle of the very traditional dong village. We booked the twin room with view and literally slept with views of the drum tower. The room is very clean and decorated lovely. The place is very well looked after and although the location is quite remote, the guesthouse provides a very good standard. The owners are a young couple that supported us in getting a taxi. When we arrived it was the last day of the national holiday and we were invited to join the family rice harvesting, fishing and doing a barbecue. To get there you can catch a public bus that leaves two times a day from Zhaoxing (25 yuan per person) or you get a taxi (one way 150yuan)."

"The facilities are clean and well-equipped, and the overall environment is excellent. Located at a high point in the Dong village, it's easily accessible from the entrance and offers beautiful views. The service is attentive. The freshly ground coffee during breakfast hours was a nice touch. The pickup service from Congjiang High-Speed Rail Station or the ticket office parking lot was very convenient. The only minor suggestion is that during breakfast peak hours, the wait for food was a bit long. Even though the butler had pre-booked the breakfast time the night before, the noodles still needed to be freshly cooked. However, the accompanying eggs and corn were already cold. The noodles themselves were delicious! I'd recommend either improving the food's insulation or communicating with guests in advance about when to come down for their meal."

Downstairs of the homestay is the starting point of the shuttle bus in the village, the pick-up point of Tang'an Terraces, the zero pressure to go to the terraces, visit the stockade, quiet in the middle of noisy, bid farewell to the main street, and sleep quietly at night. The boss is particularly enthusiastic, free pick-up and drop-off at the high-speed rail station, responsive throughout the whole process, carefully explain the play strategy, and the happiness of the journey is directly improved. The room is oversized, clean and refreshing! Dyson hair dryer, massage chair, washing and drying machine are all available, go out to play with wet clothes and dry directly, lazy people gospel. The quality of toiletries is online, and the details are attentive. Daily breakfast, freshly cooked rice noodles are delicious, with miscellaneous grain snacks, start a full day, and sweet welcome fruit. The overall experience is full, the price is online, and Zhaoxing has not seen Zhaoxing when you come to Zhaoxing with your eyes closed!"
