"Traveling with family, the guesthouse is located not far from the main gate of the village, which is also the starting point for exploring the village. It's especially beautiful at night when the lights are on. Outside the village gate is a square, and you can even watch performances from the guesthouse upstairs, perfect if you want to avoid the crowds. There's a small river in front, and the flowers in the courtyard are exceptionally vibrant. The owner also has an adorable 8-month-old dog. The room itself is clean and tidy, and the owner is incredibly kind, offering tips on what to do and recommending great food. We had a wonderful trip overall."

The guesthouse is not far from the main street, less than 100 meters away. It's quiet despite being in a bustling area. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and comfortable. I especially love their large terrace. It's a great place to buy some late-night snacks and have a few drinks in the evening."

"This guesthouse is wonderful! The owners, a couple from the Dong village, are incredibly kind and welcoming. They love to chat and told us so much about the Dong village's customs and delicious food. The large windows offer an unobstructed view of the rice paddies and mountain scenery. The breakfast was tasty and beautifully presented, perfectly complementing the restaurant's stylish design. The owner even personally handled our pick-up and drop-off, which was a thoughtful touch."

"The room was very nice and spacious, with good lighting and large windows. The facilities were complete, the air conditioning was powerful, the room was clean, the toilet was clean, and all disposable toiletries were complete. The owner was warm and hospitable and patient. He provided shuttle service to and from the scenic area multiple times. When I contacted him, he responded promptly and was always online. He gave us discounted tickets for the bonfire party and even chatted with us in the evening while we drank local glutinous rice wine. There's also a restaurant downstairs, which is very convenient. I'll be back next time!"

"The village has five drum towers representing virtue, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, and trustworthiness, arranged in order. The shops are located next to the Zhi Tuan tower, in the central area. Choosing this spot offers two advantages: a close-up view of the drum towers and the opportunity to watch the Dong ethnic group's grand song performance. Even after the evening performance, it's very quiet, and the bathing water is hot – I was very satisfied. To enter and exit the village, you need to take a sightseeing bus or hire a car. The sightseeing bus costs 10 yuan per person, and a car hire costs 40 yuan per vehicle."

"We planned a slow-paced, three-day, two-night trip to Zhaoxing, and choosing Guge Secluded Retreat was absolutely the right decision! The guesthouse is located near the village entrance, making it convenient for coming and going without being noisy. It's just a few minutes' walk to the main scenic area. Every morning, we'd have breakfast at the outdoor bar, which offered a stunning view of the village for photos. In the evenings, we'd watch the night view from our room's balcony – it was so peaceful and therapeutic. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Over the two days, the elders rested well, and the kids had a great time too. A perfect family vacation, and I've already recommended it to friends!"
