"This trip to Jinmen temporarily set this youth travel, the whole stay experience directly exceeded expectations, must seriously write praise recommendation!
The environment in the store is clean and comfortable, the public areas are warm and tidy, the room is well lit, the beds and bathrooms are cleaned in place, the washing machine, lockers, drinking water equipment required for daily travel are all available, quiet and not noisy, and you can relax and rest after a day of running.
What impressed me most was the boss's attitude towards people, warm and sincere without a sense of alienation, and there will be no strange restraints of living in the youth travel. In the evening, I took the initiative to take out my own snacks and distribute them to us, and even fried drinks to entertain passengers. The fireworks were full. When chatting with the boss, he also patiently shared with us the local tour routes, niche punch points and authentic snacks in Jinmen. Any questions and inquiries will be answered in detail.
Traveling alone all the way is inevitable, but here I found a relaxed and warm atmosphere like home, can chat with travelers everywhere, the boss's intimate small actions are more to relieve the fatigue of the journey. The price is super high, whether it is traveling alone or traveling together, it is very suitable, next time you come to Golden Gate, you will definitely choose here, I really recommend friends who come to Golden Gate to stay!"

"Unexpectedly good, perhaps my expectations weren't high to begin with.
First off, the room was on the executive floor with a lake view, and the scenery was excellent, even better at night. I have photos to prove it, and I was very satisfied with this. There are also popular photo spots like the telephone booth nearby. The food street is within walking distance, and the Livestock Research Institute is great for a visit. Further afield, the Gaodong Tunnels are also fantastic!
The executive lounge offered standard snacks and drinks, but their special cocktail was a fruity drink with a hint of alcohol, which was right up my alley.
The breakfast included incredibly delicious braised pork rice. You could add as much braised pork as you liked, and it was even better than the braised pork rice I had at two popular Kinmen influencer restaurants over the past couple of days. The breakfast selection was also quite rich.
The room itself was great in all aspects, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The only thing I wasn't used to was that they only provided one reusable bottle for water (I've traveled all over the world, and many hotels in Europe and America aren't this 'eco-friendly'), but it's a minor detail. The fridge also had complimentary drinks. So, all in all, it's a five-star review! I highly recommend staying at this hotel!"

"The guesthouse offers airport or pier pick-up and drop-off services. It's basically a converted house, but the rooms are nice and well-equipped, and most importantly, they're very new. The owner is very helpful and grateful for reminding us about the typhoon the next day, urging us to go to the pier early to wait in line, as the ferry was only operating two trips due to the typhoon. We arrived early and got a spot on the waiting list, thus avoiding the risk of not being able to get to Xiamen. They also held our room until check-out time so we could continue staying if we couldn't make it to Xiamen."

"What I liked: the location is very convenient if you’re coming to Kinmen from Xiamen. The homestay is walking distance from Shuitou Port (about 15 minutes).
The owner is a very friendly and helpful person. He helped me rent an electric motorcycle and responded very fast to all of my text messages.
The homestay is clean (the cleaning lady is very kind, too! ^^). There’s a lot of storage space as well as lockers. The shampoo and body wash in the bathroom were also really nice.
What could be improved: the bunk beds consists of a wooden plank and bedding, so it was quite hard and a bit uncomfortable. However, I still managed to sleep well and there’s enough privacy.
There are no locks in the homestay. Basically anyone from outside can access the public areas and the room with the bunk beds, which can be scary for some solo travelers. However, the homestay has security cameras and Kinmen is very safe in general, so I was never really worried. The door of the room is quite heavy and makes a lot of noise, so this is something to be mindful of when it’s late and you’re sharing the room with other guests.
All in all, I had a great experience and would stay here again. I’m really happy to have had the opportunity to stay at a traditional house for such an affordable price."

"Super strategic location with walking distance to most food places in Kinmen old town. There are limited parking lots next to the hotel (for car rentals), if you rent their cars which are more expensive, they have different lots for them. The hotel does not provide toothbrush so be prepared for that.
Do check out the popular stir fry restaurant next to the hotel (and a temple), they have good range of seafood with reasonable prices"

"Everything was great. I loved the location—it’s very close to Jincheng bus stops and several other bus stops and Kinmen Old Street. The family room is in a separate building, and the staff will drive you there. There’s no elevator, but they helped carry our luggage upstairs.
The room was clean, the bathroom was okay (no bidet), the bed and pillows were acceptable, and the service was great. Nothing to complain about."

"I had a really pleasant stay at Kivala Hostel. The place was very clean and well looked after, especially the bathrooms and sleeping areas, which made a big difference for a hostel. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with, and the check-in process was smooth.
The location is quiet and peaceful, which I personally liked, though it’s a little away from the main busy areas — something to keep in mind if you want everything right outside your door. The common areas were comfortable and practical, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and respectful rather than noisy or chaotic.
Overall, it’s great value for money and a solid choice if you want a clean, comfortable, and relaxed place to stay in Kinmen. I’d happily stay here again."

"Breakfast is different every day. The local Chinese breakfast is very suitable for the food characteristics of Jinmen.

Local residents also praised Xianshi Villa when they heard that it is a very reassuring choice. If you have the opportunity to visit Kinmen again, it will be your first choice (you will encounter the Wind Lion God when you walk nearby)"
