"Absolutely loved it! The owner is incredibly kind and friendly. They offer free ******* traditional clothing for guests to borrow, and it's all so well-maintained, clean, and tidy. We even got to see the 'Sun-drenched Golden Mountain' right from the hotel, and the rooftop access means you can go up and admire it anytime – truly breathtaking. The room came with a free oxygen concentrator, and there's a diffused oxygen supply available for a fee. Plus, on the ground floor, the owner has their own medical oxygen concentrator for refills. Don't miss the owner's yak hotpot and boiled sliced pork – absolutely delicious and highly recommended. Staying in Yading Village means you can enter the scenic area whenever you like, without having to take an hour-long bus ride every day. You can wake up naturally and head into the mountains at your own pace, which is incredibly chill. The guesthouse is conveniently located next to Yading Station 1 and not far from Station 2. The owner can even help with luggage, either sending it to the bus or bringing it down for you, saving a lot of time. Highly recommended! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit the mountains."

"The hotel is located in the center of Daocheng County. Although it's a bit old, it's very well-maintained. The manager, Yang Zi, is incredibly capable and enthusiastic. She truly understands that visitors to the plateau can easily experience altitude sickness, so she is exceptionally warm, thoughtful, and attentive to guests. She frequently checks in on everyone and even arranged a taxi for our airport transfer. Before we left, she repeatedly reminded the driver to drive carefully to ensure our safety, which made us feel secure and at ease throughout our stay. The ******* staff team is also very friendly; Dorje, for instance, gave us many helpful suggestions. We had dinner at the hotel, and the dishes were perfectly suited for guests who can't eat spicy food, which we were very happy with."

"Great location just a few minutes walk from park entrance, restaurants and pharmacies. Our room had nice view, humidifier, nice restroom with large shower, great hot water pressure, ”western” toilet. We were on third floor, no elevator (no problem for us because this trip we were picking light). Simple and crowded breakfast (which is understandable due to the very high tourism season and very nice weather)."

"Staying in Yading Village was definitely the right choice for this trip. The staff made us feel very comfortable. We had four delicious meals here (I prefer light flavors, and the chef adjusted them perfectly). Our room faced the snow-capped mountains. It rained on the first day, but the next morning was sunny, and waking up to the entire snow-capped mountain right before our eyes was incredible. I highly recommend staying here. Some photos were taken with a camera, others with a phone. After hiking the long trail, I told the park driver I needed my luggage picked up at No. 3. I contacted the staff, and despite the sleet, I saw a ******* staff member from a distance, already waiting at the parking spot with my large backpack, which contained two days' worth of toiletries and photography equipment, ready to help me with my bags. This hotel made me feel more at ease than some luxury hotels. Highly recommended. My only regret is not taking a picture with them."

"This time, I chose the Oxygen Dew Bath Qushang Room in the Muhua Building, and the experience completely exceeded my expectations! The best part was the indoor hot spring! The weather on the plateau can change quickly, so it was a true pleasure to soak in a warm bath in the warmth of the room, washing away the fatigue of a day's hike without having to go outside in the draft. The room was very spacious, and the decor was my favorite minimalist style with soft colors, making it incredibly relaxing. Of course, the oxygen system was also very effective, and I slept soundly after my bath, completely free of any altitude sickness. The entire floor was incredibly quiet and private. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and quiet stay in Daocheng Yading!"

"The best choice for a trip to Daocheng Yading is undoubtedly the Crowne Plaza Yading Risong Gongbu Hotel. Located in the heart of Shangri-La town, its 2800-meter altitude is just right, avoiding altitude sickness while providing convenient access to the Yading scenic area entrance – a mere 15-minute drive to the sacred mountains. Upon arrival, a concierge proactively offered to help with luggage, a warm gesture spreading from the moment you stepped out of the car. Entering the double-height lobby, the ******* elements blend seamlessly with modern design. The hanging scroll depicting the three sacred mountains of Yading instantly evoked anticipation for the journey. The seated service during check-in was exceptionally attentive; staff member David offered ginger tea to dispel the chill of the journey and provided a detailed explanation of the scenic route and a guide map. The hotel's dining experience was a highlight of the trip. While the breakfast wasn't as lavish as in inland China, it was certainly excellent for the ******* region."

This was the most delightful accommodation of our trip, and I have to recommend it to everyone! 🏔️ Amazing Location and Views The homestay is located in Reguang Village, Shangri-La Town, just a 10-minute drive from the scenic area entrance. It's a peaceful spot amidst the hustle and bustle. Opening the window, you're greeted by the majestic Niulang Mountain and fields of blooming highland barley. During the day, you can watch the snowy peaks and clouds, and at night, enjoy the Milky Way from the rooftop bar – the ambiance is incredible. 🎨 Superb Design and Facilities It boasts a light ******* luxury style, having won a CBDA design award, with incredibly high-quality details. The rooms are spacious and clean, equipped with floor heating, a humidifier, and Wi-Fi, making for a very comfortable stay at high altitude. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows mean you can enjoy views of the snow-capped mountains right from your bed – perfect for photos! 👩🍳 Five-Star Service and Experience The owners are incredibly warm and welcoming. They proactively helped with luggage, lent us hiking poles and windbreakers, and provided excellent tips for the scenic area. They offer free blood oxygen testing and have an oxygen concentrator, so there's no need to panic about altitude sickness. In the evenings, there are ******* dance lessons and complimentary ******* clothing experiences, offering an immersive taste of ******* culture. The highland barley cakes, matsutake chicken noodle soup, and butter tea were all incredibly delicious – we were full every day. Having breakfast in the scenic restaurant, accompanied by snow-capped mountains and blooming flowers, was an absolute joy. When you come to Yading, don't hesitate to book Sangyelinka! Beautiful design, stunning views, warm service, delicious breakfast, and excellent value for money. "A wonderful hotel to stay at before our hike to Dao Cheng Ya Ding, great service and staff made sure we were confortable. We booked a non-smoking room but the first room we had smelt of smoke, the staff went up to other rooms with us to ensure we have one that is truly smoke free. Room was spacious, modern and comfortable, with great heating. Overall recommend if you’re heading there!"

Free parking, and there are charging stations in the courtyard. The pictures show the scenery along the way. Daocheng Yading is beautiful and worth a visit."

"Very cozy and lovely home stay We came to daocheng for my girlfriend’s birthday, and decided to stay in the local area and we were not disappointed. The owners were incredibly welcoming and recommended food spots and activities to do during our 2-day stay here. They even helped us get taxis to pick us up and drop us off. The homestay is very cozy, clean, with cute animals in the yard. This is definitely a place we’d book again."
