"The hotel is conveniently situated at a junction where you can find food very easily. There is also a supermarket nearby so we could just stroll over to grab a yogurt drink after meal. The hotel room looked dated and it’s observable from the design and the bathroom, as well as the carpets. However, the room is reasonably clean and service was sincere, friendly and prompt. I sent some clothes for laundry and the staff took the effort to inform me that the clothes would be hand washed then dried under the sun so they should be ready by evening time later on. She also informed me of the pricing, then went on to ask if I was alright with that. I like it that they are very clear with charges and there is no hidden cost. Service was also very prompt. I asked for more water at the concierge when I came back from dinner and the room service staff was already waiting for me at my room door with the water by the time I got out of the lift. The beds were clean and comfortable too. My aunt and I rested well for the two nights we stayed there. The only negative was probably the air conditioner which was quite loud. But once we fell asleep, it didn’t bother us. There is also a very cute tea set in the room which guests could utilize if they wanted tea. It would have been better if they had given us four bottles of water instead of two. Then we would have been having our little tea appreciation session more regularly."

"This time I went back to Tai Po to visit relatives and stayed at this hotel. The hotel is very convenient to eat in the city of Huqi, especially the two noodles and mouse boards bought next to the hotel and opposite the hotel are very delicious. The price is very cheap and only 4 yuan. The hotel environment is clean and the bed is comfortable. The front desk service is in place and warm. Hot flower tea is provided. Check out and 2 bottles of water are recommended."

"Newly renovated hotel, the rooms are new, the supplies are new, and the toilet is smart. There is no smell in the room, and the air conditioning is also very powerful. There is a washing machine, scan the code to place an order, very convenient. The only drawback is that there is no service. When I checked in, I had clearly asked not to arrange with the wedding banquet, but the result was still arranged on the same floor. At night, I picked up my relatives and made a noise until midnight. It was very noisy. I smoked and called at the door of the room. The child screamed and ran in the corridor. Contacting the front desk, an aunt came to the attitude is also very bad, ”they have no way to quarrel with us, who knows they have to get it in the middle of the night?” As a tourist, without understanding the local wedding customs, and the hotel is not full, it is really impossible to understand the arrangement of ordinary tourists near the wedding room."

"百侯山庄 is truly a gem addition to the town. The property is very well maintained, peaceful and tranquil. Everyone from front office, kitchen, security and housekeeping are like family and we had many lovely conversations with them. Special thanks to the chef for our daily breakfast who cooked up all the lovely Hakka dishes and even treated us to a special one on our last day. The climb to the top of the hill at the back of the property is well recommended if you have the stamina as the view is beautiful. Location wise is ideal as 百侯镇 is just across the road as well as 田园农庄 around 600m up from the right of the property serves very tasty Hakka food definitely worth the walk up. Overall our trip back to the ancestral hometown has been made perfect with our stay here. Just want to say thank you to all the staff at 百侯山庄 for making this a complete and memorable trip! (and kisses for the residential dog 绒绒)"

"Super great stay experience ~ The apartment is on the attic and is very spacious and super clean. It has a washing machine and a refrigerator, which is really convenient for playing outside. There is Aoyuan Shopping Plaza downstairs and there is a place for children to play. It is really nice. Convenient~ The takeout is delivered directly to the door. It was a lot of fun with the children. The boss is super nice and will reply quickly if I have any questions. It feels more convenient and comfortable than staying in a hotel~ I will definitely choose this place again when I come to Tai Po in the future!"
