Ruijin Hotel

Hotel is old but amenities were equipped and staff managed to arrange my family to be on the same level. One of rooms have smoking smell, but managed to change to another room instead.

The hotel is conveniently situated at a junction where you can find food very easily. There is also a supermarket nearby so we could just stroll over to grab a yogurt drink after meal. The hotel room looked dated and it’s observable from the design and the bathroom, as well as the carpets. However, the room is reasonably clean and service was sincere, friendly and prompt. I sent some clothes for laundry and the staff took the effort to inform me that the clothes would be hand washed then dried under the sun so they should be ready by evening time later on. She also informed me of the pricing, then went on to ask if I was alright with that. I like it that they are very clear with charges and there is no hidden cost. Service was also very prompt. I asked for more water at the concierge when I came back from dinner and the room service staff was already waiting for me at my room door with the water by the time I got out of the lift. The beds were clean and comfortable too. My aunt and I rested well for the two nights we stayed there. The only negative was probably the air conditioner which was quite loud. But once we fell asleep, it didn’t bother us. There is also a very cute tea set in the room which guests could utilize if they wanted tea. It would have been better if they had given us four bottles of water instead of two. Then we would have been having our little tea appreciation session more regularly.

Strategically located, there's two fruits stalls nearby, a convenience store and supermarket. Helpful staffs too, helped me unwrap my wheelchair before sending it up to the room

The hotel is spacious, with breakfast. However the room we got, there is a stench of smoke smell. We need to air it for awhile and it is anonying. Other than the hotel is kind of old, but the rooms are big with extra big bed. 2 double bed combined as one big bed, which can easily sleep 4 person.

Had a great stay. Room was spick and span with facilities well maintained. Lobby staff were helpful when a personal request was made. Lots of food nearby with a supermarket as well along the same street

The hotel seems more a 2 stars, than a 4 stars. Everything is a bit old in the room, and needed to be replaced. I am not certain how to rate, since this is Dabu.
