"Only 3-4 mins walk from main Gandhi chowk (300 metres) Great atmosphere for relaxing in luxury I especially liked the furnishing and wood interiors at the resort Rooms are decent sized and well kept with all modern amenities Good value for money but lacks in entertainment facilities e.g. a game room with carrom, table tennis, air hockey, snooker table would have added more value to the stay. Despite it was a comfortable and relaxing stay with great views from the sky bar Cleanliness is very well kept It was a quiet and a peaceful resort Regarding food Breakfast spread was quite good with a large variety. Sambhar chole and dose were very tasty. Good juices shake and other variety of food. We enjoyed coffee and soup as well on the sky at in the evening. For Dinner a la cart we ordered paneer tikka biryani and kulcha. Biryani lacked both flavour, was a bit sticky and very little pieces of paneer in it and kulcha also lacked taste. Maybe that is something that needs to be worked upon Overall we had a very pleasant and a luxurious stay, especially with the warm hospitality by the staff."

"I was completely taken by Brij Villa from the moment I stepped through its doors. There is something wonderfully timeless about its colonial architecture and old-world charm, and yet the property feels warm, intimate and beautifully cared for. Almost immediately I had the feeling that I belonged there. The villa is serene and wonderfully quiet and the attention to detail throughout the property is remarkable. Everything is exceptionally well maintained and the cleanliness is truly top-notch. The rooms are beautiful and incredibly comfortable and I especially appreciated how the renovation has preserved the character and beauty of the original architecture rather than modernising it away. The beautiful hydrangeas blooming around the property only add to its charm. The service deserves a special mention. Sachin, Atul and the rest of their team were exceptionally kind, attentive and prompt without ever being intrusive. Every interaction felt genuinely warm and personal. The food was delicious, but the little ritual of tea with their butter cookies may have been my favourite part - quite possibly the best butter cookies I’ve had with tea! As it wasn’t peak tourist season, there were no other guests staying in the villa’s remaining five bedrooms, which made the entire experience feel almost surreal. For the duration of my stay, it felt as though I had the whole house to myself. Sitting in that beautiful old villa, surrounded by gardens and hydrangeas, with the quiet of Dalhousie around me, felt like stepping straight into Downton Abbey. What impressed me most is the value you get for the experience. This isn’t simply a place to stay it feels like staying in a beautifully preserved piece of history, with wonderful hospitality, impeccable upkeep, delicious food and genuine warmth, all without feeling overly commercial or impersonal. I genuinely didn’t want to leave. Brij Villa is one of those rare places where the stay becomes a memory in itself. I left feeling wonderfully rested, a little nostalgic, and already certain that I’ll be back."

"A Luxury Illusion: All Hype, No Substance Aaroham Dalhousie is a total letdown. Parking was chaotic, no one to guide, just roadside confusion. Reception was cold, clueless, and unwelcoming. The room had dirty linen; we had to ask twice to get it changed. Furniture was filthy and dusty. No intercom, had to call staff on personal mobiles for everything. Prebooked dinner was refused at the restaurant and we were compelled to eat in the room, a pathetic experience for a so-called “luxury” stay. Food was cold, tasteless, and felt like recycled leftovers. Towels were stale, bathroom smelled, and housekeeping was nonexistent. Kids area? Bonfire? Sit-out space? Nothing was functional or available. Worst of all, the property was overrun with noisy college students, zero peace, zero privacy. It felt like a hostel, not a resort. Staff lacked basic hospitality sense. Even the Wi-Fi was a joke. This place sells the illusion of luxury but delivers none. Avoid it if you value your time, money, or sanity."
