"This hotel offers great value for money and excellent service. Most notably, it provides hot water, and the beds in the rooms are relatively large. Compared to other hotels in the area, this is quite considerate of travelers! Highly recommended for tourists! 👍"

"To begin with, I was very embarrassed at the reception (the staff were completely unprepared) because they wanted to charge me an amount that didn't exist. I had already paid part of it with points, and even when I showed them my account statement, they acted like they didn't understand and wanted me to pay an exorbitant amount. I said I wouldn't pay, and they called a manager, and then a general manager, I believe. Even after showing the paid invoice (only 7,647.02 Chilean pesos remaining), they wanted to charge me $42 to settle the matter at the hotel. In the end, they deducted another 2,000 points from my ALL account (40 euros) and said everything was settled. I only noticed the discount later, after an hour trying to resolve the issue. When I entered the room, the air conditioning didn't work, nor did the TV. The worst experience possible. I'll wait until I return to Brazil and make a complaint directly to the ALL network. If they don't refund my points, I'll file a lawsuit. RUN AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL."

"Deplorable management and preparation on a day that was supposed to be a celebration. It took over an hour to take orders, insufficient staff, and poor treatment from the coordinator. A terrible experience. Refrain from going to Agua del Desierto."

"We Bootes a Room through priceless with 17 year old Child - at the Hotel they told us the Child is to old and we have to pay 50 $ extra - rooms are ok a Bit fuzxy - Bath Standard - Pool Bit Dirty and cold - beding very soft and cushions a Bit hard - at least ok for one Night"

"Calama is apparently one of the driest places on earth ; it’s certainly very remote and logistics presumably present issues on a recurring basis. It’s only proper therefore to give its hospitality offering a wide berth. This hotel is somewhat dated, certainly ‘tired’. But it does offer a reasonable level of comfort - decent beds, plenty of hot water, air con and a basic swimming pool with sun lounging furniture. Forget in-room tea/coffee making facilities. AND…! Be prepared to bite your tongue when told that no milk is available across the entire hotel should you be attempting to make yourself a cuppa ‘downstairs’. Dinner sounded more hopeful on paper. Nothing earth shattering and certainly not an extensive menu, but the spaghetti bolognaise was able to trigger positive digestive anticipation !! The reality was an array of ‘sandwiches’ only, the common basis around which was a ginormous bap, with hidden amongst it, some onion & tomato and further in, a beef patty. A limply uninspiring salad sat alongside. You’re on steady ground if it’s an accompanying lager you’re looking for and the Chilean Red was good. But don’t even think about anything remotely resembling an Aperol Spritz. Breakfast however ‘surprised’ with an excellent scrambled egg. Service wise, the staff are at best, ‘hit & miss’. The welcome from the longer haired female receptionist at 12.00 was non-existent. She was functional and lacking in any enthusiasm. The later guy on reception was very helpful and was genuinely concerned about me considering a walk into the town ( to source some milk ⚡️😂 ) - ‘it’s not safe’. The waiting staff in the restaurant were inconsistent ; some trying their best, others utterly indifferent. So in summary and accepting language barriers ( my bad ! ), this place does a job, if it’s an ‘in transit’ stopover that you’re looking for."
