"The hotel is located opposite a large shopping mall; there are only 6 parking spaces, which need to be booked in advance. If all spaces are booked, you will need to park in the large shopping mall opposite for about €20 per night; the penthouse room is a unique 4-person room, which is quite spacious; however, you need to go up a flight of stairs after taking the elevator, so be careful if you have large or heavy luggage; the hotel breakfast is delicious."

It's in the same building, next to the Ibis, which makes it even worse. The location is good, close to attractions and the train station, and restaurants are all nearby. There are four Paul's restaurants nearby… If you're driving, I'd recommend staying in the town of Bayeux."

"This hotel is a gem! There is nothing like it in all of Caen! To these 2 Americans, it felt very Parisian. Incredible location, kind staff who spoke excellent English (which we needed), wonderful hospitality, and though not inexpensive, a very good value! Be prepared to be flexible about parking, but parking is not a problem. Just have to do on-street parking, which is free at night, nearby. Dozens of fabulous restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, and shopping nearby. Walking distance to all of the sites!"

"We stayed in the hotel for four nights. Although clean, our room was in an annex and was on the small side, particularly the bathroom. I'm not sure if this is typical of a city centre hotel. The room tended to feel damp and there was no window to open. During daytime occupation I left the door open to let some fresh air in. The area was very quiet for sleeping. The hotel offered breakfast at a cost of 9 Euros each which had to be booked in advance which we declined. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The hotel is near the centre of Caen close to shops, bars and restaurants. Car parking is a problem as the area is very busy. We used a nearby underground car park for the first night but cost over 20 Euros. The receptionist told us about parking free near the university at the weekend as students tend to go home. It's about a 15min walk from the hotel."

"My friend and I are traveling around France for a couple of weeks. We picked this hotel based on reviews and price. It was a good location to drive to Omaha Beach and the surrounding area. We each had a room with a king size bed, a very large bathroom with a wonderful shower and separate large tub. Free Coffee, tea and water provided in the room and a small refrigerator with snacks and drinks available at a modest price. Beds were very comfortable and room temp was great. Very quiet location and free parking. The best thing was Julia, the front desk staff person. Extraordinary service and assistance with everything we needed including ordering Thai food from a local restaurant because the restaurant was closed on Sunday night and Monday night, the two nights we were there. She deserves a GIANT Thank You and a Gold Star! I would definitely stay there again if I ever return to France."

"This hotel is a 20-min walk from the train station or barely 5 minutes on the tram. Situated in the old part of Caen, it is in an ideal location for the average tourist wishing to explore the town on foot. A couple of grocery stores are available within 400 meters for those, like me, not wishing to take the offered breakfast ($). The welcome was professional but friendly. Key, payment, information was all dealt with efficiently. The room itself was at the back on the 1st floor, so reasonably quiet. Of a decent size, it was simply decorated (white walls and colored curtains) with basic but comfortable furniture. Bathroom was small but adequate with all that was needed. No problem with cleanliness. Good place to stay overall, in an excellent location, and reasonably priced. "
