"Our experience in this hotel is generally good. Location is quite good at nothing you come to the center. The facilities are very good. A cafeteria with reasonable prices and two terraces with good views. The spa, small but acceptable. The room and bathroom were very comfortable and clean, though they gave us a first floor and gave a large air tube that was not very nice. We asked to change the room because it was a romantic escape and the views were not very pleasant, but they denied it, apparently because it was complete. So nothing to do about it. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. I wanted to make a special mention to a blond and thin cousin, which I think it was from Caceres who was very kind to us."

"The room's maintenance and cleaning leaves something to be desired, the bathroom is the same, this being a 4-star hotel and the days we have been there it has been hot and without air conditioning, we cannot leave the door or windows of the terrace open because we do not have mosquito nets"

"Stayed here for 1 night as Plasencia was roughly half way on our trip to Portugal from our home in Murcia. It is tucked away down a side street right in the middle of the city but it’s not hard to find. The receptionist was very friendly - the room was quite spacious & very clean. The bed was comfortable & the wifi decent. My biggest worry with Spanish hotels is that the walls are sometimes paper thin & you hear everything from your neighbours. However we both found it really quiet & had a good sleep. There is a Carrefours Express a couple of minutes walk away and you’re really close to cafes, bars & restaurants. We have a large car so didn’t park it in the parking lot that the hotel recommended as our experience with underground car parks is that often the entrance/exits (& spaces) is tight. We parked in Parking La Isla - a large outdoor parking lot. It’s about 10 minutes walk away and- and it’s free!"

"The castle hotel is very distinctive, and the facilities are a bit old, but the room, bathroom, shower water and bed are basically still quasi-five-star standards. Since it is a small hotel, the breakfast atmosphere is comfortable"

"Beautifully quaint town with a powerful church and monastery. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was sumptuous. The pool has an amazing view and the gardens and courtyards are a feast for the eyes."

"If you book more than 2 nights on your website, you are given a session in the Spa and the restaurant El Laurel very good even if you ask for vanilla ice with the brownie, which is not home as if it was, They put it out of ice milk that is very rich but not like vanilla"
