CChristopherA very well appointed hotel conveniently located in the historic downtown adjacent to RISD and an easy, if uphill walk, to Brown, with a number of decent restaurants nearby. The furnishings, bathroom, and linens were all of high quality. Despite other reviews I found the staff to be rather limited in their engagement versus the friendliness praised elsewhere, but nothing off-putting. The restaurant Bellini tries to punch a bit above its weight though for Providence it’s decent. Overall by far the best hotel in Providence but still a stretch from true five star luxury or a genuine upscale business hotel like Four Seasons or Mandarin Oriental.

22171****The room was large and clean. For food, we went to Macy's across the street. The staff provided directions, and we used the second-floor hallway.
The Macy's restaurant is on the third floor and a little hard to find.
Brown University is nearby, so it's a good walk.

AAnonymous UserStayed at this hotel with children for 2 weeks, the room was very large and new, there was no decoration, the kitchen was fully equipped, the sound insulation was good, the breakfast was affordable, the next day was cleaned, the gym laundry room was complete, it was a pet-friendly hotel, and I saw many tourists with dogs. It is not far from the shopping center and the station next to it, and it is within walking distance. Will book here again next time.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a great location and is convenient for shopping. There is a Starbucks next to it, so it's a great choice to have a cup of coffee and breakfast. The room was also very clean.
