I had a wonderful 4-day stay at Acacia Hotel Davao, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed with their warm hospitality and attentive service. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The hotel facilities were well-maintained, and everything felt organized and guest-friendly. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The food was also excellent, with a good variety of choices that catered to different tastes. Overall, my experience was outstanding, and I would definitely give Acacia Hotel Davao a 5-star rating. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Davao who’s looking for comfort, great service, and a memorable stay.

For the price, the comfort room is not that okay. There’s a wet area also in the floor carpet which I did not raised anymore because I checked in late already and will just move to other room the next day.

Staff are friendly, the location is great, clean hotel. One thing they have to note when booking, there is no elevator. So when you have elderly, make sure they put you on the lower floor. We were on the 3rd floor and I have asthma, so it was tiring on my part.

We took full advantage of the outdoor swimming pool — a serene little oasis perfect for a morning dip or evening unwind. Breakfast and dining at the hotel also deserve special mention. The buffet breakfast was generous and satisfying — a great way to start a busy day in Davao. For lunch or dinner, the on-site restaurant served a mix of Thai, Asian, international, and European dishes, giving a variety that could cater to different tastes and dietary preferences.  The presence of a café and even a pastry/deli option made it easy to grab a light meal or snack without leaving the property.  Location is another strong suit for Dusit Thani Residence. It’s conveniently located near the airport, which is a big plus if you have early flights or late arrivals.  At the same time, it’s still close enough to city amenities, shopping, and other attractions — offering both convenience and comfort. Many guests appreciated this balance of accessibility and tranquility.  That said, no stay is perfect, and a few aspects could be improved. Some guests mentioned that certain rooms felt a bit cramped or that balcony areas were under-utilized due to cleanliness concerns.  There were occasional gripes about maintenance — for example, shower drains draining slowly or small furniture quirks — and a few found the elevator access between towers a bit awkward, especially if coming from parking.  A minority even felt the place fell short of 5-star expectations in certain respects.  Still, for us, these were minor blemishes compared to the overall positive experience. What stood out was how the hotel blends comfort, convenience, and courteous service with enough extras to feel like more than just a “place to sleep.” The pool, spa, and kitchen-equipped rooms make it a strong choice for families, couples, business travellers — essentially anyone who values a balance of luxury and practicality. In conclusion: if you’re looking for a stay in Davao that offers more than just four walls — a place that feels both refined and welcoming — Dusit Thani Residence Davao delivers. We chose this hotel primarily because of its location. From the guard who assist us in the parking, to the bellboy, the receptionist, the housekeeping, everyone is up to their toes. Rooms, well just the right size for us. Cleanliness, ok Basic toiletries are available Water is available in the hallway Towels and linen are new and smells good Easy check in and check out. Will surely book in the future

We arrived a bit late on our first night and were accommodated poorly. After a long day of travel, we encountered several issues with our room arrangements. I had booked two rooms, expecting them to be close to each other, but that was not the case. As a family travelling together, we requested to have our rooms swapped to be nearer, yet we were only allowed to add an extra bed. This was not ideal, especially since my mom couldn't stay alone in a room meant for 6 to 8 people, which I had already paid for. When I spoke to the front desk, who I believe was the manager on duty at the time, her tone was unpleasing and lacked empathy for us as guests. It was a disappointing negotiation. We also discussed issues with the internet connection, and she seemed unyielding, suggesting that nothing could be done except to pay for a data plan, for which they would provide a modem. Having stayed at many hotels and being a hotel manager, I can clearly say that our service was inadequate.

Location and services top notch! Very accommodating and very helpful staff is an added bonus. Highly recommended for value and accessibility to shops, restaurants and transportation.

I went with sister and friend. And we are please with service and location is in the center. The breakfast buffet was excellent, different variety every day. 24 hour front desk personnel and security are a plus. I recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay! The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and exploring. My room was clean and spacious, well-equipped with everything I needed, and the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable. The soundproofing was also quite good. The staff were all friendly and enthusiastic, providing thoughtful and attentive service, and communication was always smooth. The overall atmosphere was quiet and elegant, and the cleanliness was impeccable. It offers great value for money, and I had a wonderful experience staying here as a foreigner. Highly recommend!

Very clean, staff are kind and courteous and the amenities are beautiful especially the rooftop pool at night 😊. Only downside is access to use the pool is an additional charge which I didn’t think was good for business. But the hotel is central and quite close to SM Lanang Mall which is a bonus!
