GGuest UserTwo blocks from the central square and the main church, Hotel Plaza Colonial is ideally located. The building is old with new paint. The elevator is on the small side with two persons capacity. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The amenities are basic. Lobby is small with not much space to sit. The room is very clean except a cockroach parading in the middle of the room on first night we moved in. We reported it to the receptionist and she was shocked as we were.

The rooms are great with comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, and cute view of the small Calle the hotel is on. I recommend this hotel for anyone exploring Campeche. Tours are readily available at the hotel and nearby. Secure parking is also available with your room.
