CCflaoba#Amanjiwo's Ultimate Experience 💖😋 Amanjiwo means ”peaceful soul” in Indonesian. Designer Ed Tuttle drew inspiration from Borobudur, featuring circular limestone architecture and incorporating elements such as circles, squares, and crescents to pay homage to this World Heritage site. Nestled in a natural amphitheater at the foot of Mount Menoreh, the hotel is surrounded by four towers, seamlessly blending into the natural surroundings. [Strong] 🫰 It must be said that Amanjiwo truly embodies the pinnacle of local culture and luxurious living. The welcome letter and daily goodnight notes are deeply infused with local flavor, along with maps 🖌🎨. There are also numerous activities (we participated in a Borobudur tour and a local morning market experience), thoughtfully prepared straw bags for guests' outings, and an immersive reading space. The hotel also offers a unique Indonesian afternoon tea, folk craft workshops, and a Javanese dinner accompanied by musical performances. This unique culture and thoughtfulness is a unique quiet luxury, tranquility and beauty ❤

GGuest UserThe stay experience far exceeded expectations ~ I got a good rest and care in the hotel ~ Everything was very relaxing ~ Each Villa has its own characteristics ~ The supplies were replaced very diligently, and the service staff paid attention to every detail of the customer experience ~ The Indonesian food in the Patio restaurant was delicious ~ I recommend the dirty duck rice, which was very tender and fragrant ~ On a clear day, you can directly see the outline of Borobudur ~ Unexpectedly, they also have their own small zoo! And they do a great job with animal welfare! Thank you very much for the help given by all the reception staff during your stay.

GGuest UserThe environment is very good in all aspects, but the equipment is not good. Only one person can take a shower in each room, otherwise the next person will get cold water, which is worrying

SSamAMAZING. Our favourite place we've stayed in all of Asia after a few months travelling! The bungalow and area is as beautiful as the photos and it's worth staying just for the incredible floating breakfast. Great value for money for what you get. Bobby the owner was chilled out and friendly chatting to us and other guests making us feel welcome. The views are incredible... Watching the sunset over the fields with a volcano in the backdrop was our favourite moment of Java. Pool was spotless, flowers were stunning, the design of everything inside the bungalows and outside were impressive and so artistic. The bungalow also had great air con, we didn't see any bugs or mosquitoes which surprised us and had a great hot shower. The location is far from restaurants but we ordered food via grab and were happy to stay by the pool anyway as we didn't want to leave the relaxation. If you book make sure you book more than one night as you won't want to leave!

AAnonymous UserYogyakarta's Le Temple Hotel: A Surprise in a Duplex Family Room: A Double Bliss of Zen and Homely Comfort During my stay at Yogyakarta's Le Temple Hotel, I received a complimentary upgrade from my original basic room to a duplex family room, which instantly maximised my trip's bliss. The two-story space combined a tranquil retreat with the relaxed, everyday atmosphere of a family trip. The moment I opened the door, I was struck by the breathtaking airiness of the room: the high-ceilinged duplex structure gave the 45-square-meter space an exceptionally airy feel. The first floor housed the living room and bathroom, where a rattan sofa was flanked by handmade Indonesian wood carvings. Beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows, the shadows of banana leaves in the courtyard shone. A wooden staircase led up to the second floor, revealing two king-size beds draped side by side with soft bedding. A small balcony by the window was just big enough for a folding table. In the morning, while enjoying a cup of coffee, I could catch a glimpse of Borobudur in the distance. The duplex design was perfect for families: the elders slept on the first floor, while we stayed on the second, allowing us to share space without disturbing each other. The children could even run and jump around on the stairwell, completely free of the cramped feeling of a standard guest room. The room's amenities were thoughtfully appointed: the bathroom on the first floor had separate wet and dry areas, and there was an additional sink on the second floor. The bedding on the two queen-sized beds was so soft you couldn't get up from them, and even the pillows came in soft and firm options. A desk, safe, electric kettle, and other amenities were available on each floor, eliminating the need for running up and down stairs. The little details of traveling with children were perfectly taken care of. After a day of exploring Borobudur, I returned to the hotel and plunged into the public pool—the rainforest-shrouded waters, with a view of blue sky and palm trees, were a refreshing soak. After dinner, I strolled through the courtyard, where the meditating Buddha statues shone with a gentle warmth under the lights. Children chased fireflies, and elders chatted in the gazebo. The tropical evening breeze, tinged with the fragrance of the trees, was the most relaxing moment of my trip. What impressed me most was the hotel's sense of proportion: when I upgraded my room, the front desk staff smiled and said, ”We just happened to have a room available. We hope you enjoy your stay.” There was no overt emphasis on ”upgrade benefits.”

GGuest UserIt's a very rare non-view hotel among the hotels. It was a bungalow accommodation in the middle of the rice field. There is no restaurant around, so you have to eat dinner at the hotel. Although the food is priced, I like it because it is made with fresh ingredients. Especially in Islamic countries, beer can be ordered, so I ate it very much It was nice to give unlimited delicious coffee that was dull but not used. But maybe it's because the entrance to the softer is different. It's a long way to walk. We called grapp and rode a tuk-tuk when we came. The accommodation is quiet and quiet, so it is good to heal, but once it gets dark, it is difficult to get out of the accommodation.

TTuya22I had a delightful stay at this small family home stay. Tomo and his wife were incredibly sweet, always accessible, and genuinely helpful. Opting for the deluxe room was a great choice – clean, and the daily cleaning option was appreciated. The traditional breakfast was delicious and healthy. The proximity to Borobudur temple and local eateries, combined with a quiet atmosphere, made the location great. A few minor suggestions for improvement include proper netting on ventilator holes in the room, fixing the squeaky bathroom door, and loud noises from the bathroom air con. Overall, a lovely place with a welcoming family touch.
