This is basically a family hotel operated by an Indian, not a chain hotel, and it really stepped on the pit. Our family of three, a child, said that the room was small and could not be accommodated. We temporarily charged 1,200 RMB for two nights, but we said that there was no room. We changed the room for the second night. Why do we have to charge two nights? There is no such problem in other hotel chains. Small family hotels will have this kind of thing, Trip.com should not be listed as such hotels. Compared with the price, if you can book a chain hotel, you can book a chain hotel. The facilities are also very general, that is, the mountain cabin, small and trendy. In terms of location, it is very close to the Windermere Railway Station in a straight line, but this is a barrier. In fact, you can't get through, you have to have enough time for the ferry, and you have to reverse the bus, and the traffic is very inconvenient. We came out of the train station and took a taxi around the lake for 30 minutes to spend 400 RMB.

The whole hotel is full of paintings and photography about the lake area. The reception is friendly. But note that it is a 20-minute walk from Ambleside.

JJudypengpengI was so surprised to book such a great hotel! My son, who studies in the UK, said this would be considered a luxury hotel there. It has its own private entrance and a very spacious bathroom. The Lake District gets quite cold in the evenings during summer, but the heating worked perfectly. You can see sheep on the hillside right outside, and it's not a far walk to the town. Sitting in the courtyard, you can enjoy the scenery. The owner is really nice and responds very promptly when you need something. The instructions provided via WeChat were very detailed. A truly satisfying stay!
