Hotels with Breakfast in Amiens

Het hotel ligt echt op een mooie locatie in Amiens. Alles is op loop afstand te bezichtigen. De kamers zijn goed verzorgd en ruim. Met een 2 persoons bed en een slaapbank. De badkamer was een aangename verrassing met een aparte douche en bad. Het ontbijt buffet heeft voldoende keuzes voor iedereen. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Aan de kinderen word ook gedacht met een leuk verrassingstasje! Als de parkeergarage van het hotel vol geboekt is is er gelukkig op enkele minuten een goede goedkope beveiligde parkeerplaats te vinden.

We were very welcome in this new establishment. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable.

C'était comme un vieux dortoir étudiant. Pas de serviettes, pas de chauffage, pas de sèche-cheveux, pas de savon. C'était suffisant pour dormir. Le personnel était très aimable et accueillant.

The room is small, the overall clean and tidy, the hotel environment is warm, the location is in the city center, it is very convenient to all the attractions, no transportation or driving, you can walk to it.

It's very close to the train station. The suite I chose is also very good. Maybe it's just because it's an apartment. I stayed there for two weeks, but the hygiene was not cleaned every day. Maybe it's a French habit. But I was disappointed with the bed. The big bed I chose was just two single beds put together, and there was an obvious seam in the middle. You can imagine how comfortable it is. I stayed there for 12 days, and my waist was uncomfortable. Other things are still very good.

Very good stay in this hotel. Its strong point is clearly its location: in less than five minutes walk, we are already in the city centre, with everything available (shops, restaurants, etc.). The staff is at the listening and gives good advice on visits to do in the surroundings, which is really worthwhile. The hotel is very comfortable and the room is pleasant, with TV. The only small bemol, in my view, concerns the bathroom, and more specifically the shower, which is not modern, which is said, since the hotel is announced in renovation, it is likely to improve in the coming months. In short, the hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable, and it is very good to stay in the hotel.

I stayed in Hotel Normadie during my Gothic Architecture Interrail trip. Amiens was on my list of visits. As I am a budget traveller I thought this would be a suitable room for one night to explore Amiens. The hotel was easy to find and takes about five mins to walk from the station even with luggage. I arrived before their recommended check in time and I was greeted by a nice receptionist who could book me in straight away. So I got to check in early and this was great because I could leave my bags and go exploring. The room was on the third floor and I struggled to get my bag up the narrow twisty stairs. The breakfast room looked really nice with stained glass windows. But I did not book breakfast as it was too expensive and not inclusive on my hotel booking. When I arrived at my room it was clean. There was a single bed and shutters on the window. This was good. The shower and toilet room were Ok. The toilet did not have a door. I was in a better room than I booked because I was supposed to have a shared toilet so I must have had a small upgrade so I was grateful. There was a table and chair. Nd somewhere to hav clothes. The room Was a bit stark, basic and uninteresting. It was rather like a dormitory than a hotel really. But as it was budget I was Ok. It got noisy on my floor as there were men staying that had disgusting noisy habits. I could also smell smoke twice during my evening so I had to block the door with my coat to stop the smell coming in. I asked for a non smoking room so I was dissappinted that patrons smoked I’m sure it was against the hotel policy. There was no water in my room to drink, no kettle and no cleaning products. But there was one small sachet of shampoo. The shower was ok, basic and flooded the floor. I had to clean it up. The tiles were dirty. I had no view from the window but it did open to let fresh air in the room. In the morning I was covered with insect bites, I would hate to think they were bed bugs. I’m hoping they were mosquito bites. As I wasn’t staying for an expensive breakfast I packed up pretty sharpish and left early. I would not recommend a solo female traveller stay here in budget rooms. I’m a pretty savvy traveller and something just wasn’t right about my stay. It wasn’t actually budget compared to a hostel. But that was booked already. Amiens is a beautiful city and I had a really culturally stimulating day walking around the sights. But I won’t be returning or recommending Hotel Notmandie.

Bon accueil dans cet hôtel proche de la gare, mais situé dans une rue calme. Chambre petite et simple, mais disposant d'une salle d'eau avec douche et wc d'une table et d'un placard. Bref, tout ce qui est nécessaire en cas de séjour prolongé. Parfaitement silencieuse et obscure pendant la nuit. Je n'ai pas pris le petit-déjeuner
