Hotels with Breakfast in Dusseldorf

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. On the first day, the air conditioner in our room was not working. We reported the issue to the reception in the evening, but were told that there were no available rooms. What was more concerning than the problem itself was the indifferent attitude of the reception staff. They showed no empathy, did not apologize, and simply stated that housekeeping had not reported the issue, asking us what they could do. To ensure the issue would be addressed, I personally reminded them again and provided our room number. I’m glad I did, because it later became clear that no record of our complaint had been made. That evening, assuming the issue had been resolved, we returned to our room only to find that the air conditioner was still not working. When we reported it again, we received the same standard response: “There are no available rooms.” It felt repetitive and unhelpful, as if no real effort was being made to resolve the situation. Since it was already late and our last night, we had little choice. Fortunately, a staff member named Fadi from the bar came to assist us. He checked the electrical panel, reset the fuses, and managed to get the air conditioner working. I would like to sincerely thank him for his initiative and helpfulness. Unlike the reception staff, he also proactively suggested a room change if needed. Additionally, as we were leaving the hotel, we met Ms. Derya from the reception. We explained the situation to her, and she kindly apologized for what had happened. I would like to thank her as well for her understanding and professional attitude. In summary, this hotel leaves guests to handle issues on their own unless they happen to encounter a helpful staff member. The experience feels inconsistent and unreliable, which is not what one expects from a hotel stay.

Fuss free check-ins and can’t complain about the rooms - it was sufficient. They do offer earlier breakfast hours (4am onwards) but I did not take them so I don’t know how it is this might be helpful for those going for early flights! Location is near the airport but far from everything else tho it is a small city after all. Quite affordable option nonetheless and had a smooth check-in experience.

We come to this hotel every year, and we can see the facilities in the room degrading. The were fine around 2016 to 2019, after covid lock down, when we were back in 2023, still good, and 2024, fine. Till this year, 2025, the toilet flush is half broke, shower head is not in good condition. Breakfast service is shrank, no more take away coffee cups.

The staff are courteous and friendly and the breakfast is very tasty. It is convenient to arrive and depart from the central Station and also close to shopping, dining and sightseeing. I really liked the design and the ambience in the hotel because they don't have loud music (it was very pleasant).

Location: The hotel is located in the city center, surrounded by many attractions and restaurants, and it is very convenient to travel. This saves us a lot of time and energy when visiting the city. Service: The hotel's service is very thoughtful. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out procedures are very smooth. The room service is also timely and meets our various needs. Facilities: The hotel has complete facilities, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the beds are comfortable. The gym and other public facilities are also well maintained and very convenient to use. Cons: Decoration in the room: Although the overall style is unique, the decoration in the room can sometimes make people feel a little scary. The design of some artworks and antiques is exaggerated, which may not suit every guest's taste, especially when alone at night, it may feel uncomfortable. Overall, the Medici Life Hotel is a very special accommodation choice. Its unique museum style and artistic environment are very suitable for travelers who like art and culture. Although the decoration in the room may be a bit scary, it does not affect the overall accommodation experience. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, it can provide a unique place to stay.

The service was tip top from the check-in till the end. The service of Lucas and Hedric was attentive, meticulous and very helpful to my needs. I was exhausted and jet lag due to the trade show business plus it was my first time staying in the city centre. So rhe clean room and warm sincere treatment from the staff brightened me up. I appreciate the lovely loft room view of the city and also the great roof top bar. Thank u.

A comfortable and cozy small hotel in a very convenient location next to a streetcar stop. It is about 15 minutes by bus from the airport and also about fifteen minutes directly on the streetcar to the downtown so it is easy to get anywhere. There are several restaurants and a small market across the street and several supermarkets and many more restaurants and shops in walking distance. The staff were friendly and speak English. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. A small bathroom and the main disadvantage no air conditioning but the room was pretty comfortable with the small fan they provide. The breakfast was great with many choices. The WiFi worked well and the tv had a few English and foreign channels. A good value for money and a good location if you like to see a normal neighborhood but convenient to get around. I would stay again.

The breakfast at the hotel is very good, I like it very much, the variety is good, the taste is good. My room was found to have obvious stains on the bed at the night of check-in. Due to the late time, I can only deal with it sloppyly. Serve the little brother, and he said that he immediately handled all the room hygiene, which is very satisfactory.

The hotel is relatively new and convenient for transportation. It is about 10 minutes' drive from the Düsseldorf Exhibition Hall. The breakfast is quite rich, but the cost is a bit high during the exhibition.

The room is small and clean, but the service attitude in Europe is relatively general, the price is a bit expensive for this hotel, but it can be understood during the exhibition.
