The owner of the hotel personally added a lot of dishes and corn juice for us. The food was very healthy. The hotel focuses on health care, and the facilities are great and intelligent. I am so lucky to have chosen this hotel. It made me feel the hospitality of the Yi people at the beginning of the new year. I really want to stay here and not leave. It is so comfortable. Came to Shilin for a business trip and accidentally stayed at the up hotel. The hotel is on the side of the road and has a large parking lot. Even though I already visited Stone Forest on my visit to Kunming in 2018, this was still a good room in that I get my privacy. Hotel workers were nice in that they gave me more water and wanted to make my bed even though I didn't need it. I liked how it had a heater in there to keep me warm whenever the room got too cold. The thing that I was unsure of is how much freedom and accessibility I get in being able to cook things in the kitchen at times and I was confused about whether I was allowed to eat the food that the cook makes, or it is only for guests that order food and pay for it from him. Sometimes the cook is unpredictable in that I don't know when he comes to cook between the lunch and dinner hours. The front desk women were friendly and helpful in giving me information about certain things. I appreciate it when they loaned me a phone charger temporarily when mine broke until I can get a new replacement one. Thank You for that. The only thing I would have to say, is that it is too far from the city center from the train station in where I need to be in order to catch the train to Hekou and cross the border into Vietnam.

For foreign tourists who want to visit the Karst Stone scenic areas, ie Stone Forest, the hotel is just a short walk down the road. Breakfast is buffet style and good. Meals can also be purchased. Locationwise necessitates the use of a vehicle to get to the hotel. Trip.com needs to update the hotel's name on its site. The Hotel's name is not Shilinxuan Holiday Inn. The name or names on the signage is Sloane Place and Holiday Inn Bosheng Shilin.

The location is very convenient. Bus 90 goes directly from the train station to this hotel. It's a 50-meter walk through the building's lobby (we left from here, too, and walked back to the train station. We left the hotel and boarded the bus directly. No need to walk and look for stops). I always stay at Hongshan Lake Hotel when I visit Shilin; the quality is guaranteed. A business trip there was a wonderful surprise! The rooms are quiet and comfortable, with complete office facilities and a stable, smooth internet connection. After a busy day, a soak in the hot springs is incredibly relaxing and relieves fatigue. The breakfast is plentiful, and the service is attentive—a top choice for business travel!

The highlight is that you can swim, the sanitation is really not good, and the toilet flush is broken and not replaced. Because the price is cheap, I forgive it. It is very convenient to eat in the center of the county.
