We were given tips for the surrounding attractions, so that even though the scenic area was closed one day due to bad weather, we were able to explore the area. There is a pool on the hotel grounds that you can use at any time—perfect for cooling off after a day in the mountains. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the scenic area, and even from the grounds you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. I am pretty familiar with hotel business in China and this one is fascinating. Hardware-wise it is comparatively easy to be high quality and it is the software side amazes me. I booked a suite room and arrived late in the evening due to traffic. The check-in was smooth and we settled down quickly and found that both TV sets were not properly functional. Quickly they reacted to send a tech and then decided to switch a room for us after the tech failed to fix the problem (eventually I found a solution to fix it and it is actually because of the telecom but not their TV properties). During the stay, their problem solving capability and attitude to clients were one of the best I have ever encountered in China. If you go to the city for a leisure, I highly recommend this and for anything you may reach their director of operations Mr. Xu Qiang. I will definitely visit them again.
