The room was clean and tidy, and well-equipped. However, the absolute highlight was the huge panoramic terrace in the room. From there, you could overlook the Nujiang River nestled at the foot of the mountain. The terrace was furnished with comfortable lounge sofas and footrests, perfect for relaxing there day and evening, listening to the cicadas. A gentle breeze caressed your skin, truly helping your mind unwind. It's truly the best choice for a relaxing getaway. The hotel is located on top of a mountain, surrounded by ancient trees, with wonderfully fresh air. I highly recommend taking a walk around the hotel and its surroundings in the morning; the temperatures are pleasant, and the air is truly invigorating. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but everything tasted delicious. I particularly recommend the ”Er Si” noodles (a local specialty). Even if you arrive late, the kitchen can prepare a fresh portion for you, which shows how incredibly attentive their service is. Speaking of service, the hotel staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. There's also a music cafe where you can enjoy a coffee and some tunes. Just outside the lobby, there's another viewing platform with small lounge sofas and coffee tables, perfect for enjoying the scenery with a cup of tea. A few kilometers down the road from the hotel is Laomudeng, which is worth a visit. The dinner at the hotel was also quite tasty, though the only downside was that it was a bit expensive. This is probably due to its unique location, which is understandable. Getting to the hotel isn't very convenient, so I'd recommend driving yourself. Overall, if you're looking for a relaxing getaway, Zhiziluo Cloud-Top Hotel is an excellent choice.

We booked four rooms for this trip, two of which were balcony rooms with a view, one was a double bed room, and one was an ordinary room with a view. The hotel's exterior is quite nice. However, the bed in the room wasn't very clean, and the hotel staff weren't particularly welcoming. You're required to pay a 200 deposit upon check-in, and at check-out, you have to wait for a room inspection before you can leave. It's a bit excessive, considering we're just tourists – who would damage their property? Also, the room layout felt a bit cramped.

The hotel is located next to the main street of Fugong County. Because there is a yard and a new building, the annex building we booked is relatively quiet.
