On our road trip to Qingdao, we passed through Dongying and decided to stay overnight. We had originally booked a twin room, but upon arrival, seeing we had a child with us, they upgraded us to a king room. (A staff member had even called the day before to confirm our needs.) We visited the Yellow River Estuary scenic area. However, you need to take a boat to see the actual confluence of the river and sea, and we were worried our child wouldn't sit still, so we ultimately decided not to take the boat trip. The hotel was much better than I expected, and most importantly, the service staff were all exceptionally good! The lady at the front desk on the evening of our check-in (the 14th) and the lady who ran out to give us a bag of fruit when we checked out the next day – their service was truly exceptional! Unfortunately, I didn't have my glasses on, so I couldn't see their names clearly!

I chose this hotel for a rest stop on my way back to Beijing. We arrived at night, and the road there was difficult to navigate, with many large industrial trucks using their high beams when driving in opposite directions – it was blinding! The surrounding area wasn't particularly bustling either; even after 2 minutes according to the navigation, the road was still like that, and I almost thought I was in the wrong place. Then, after turning right, everything brightened up – it felt like a secluded paradise. The hotel lobby was spacious, bright, and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, answering all my questions enthusiastically. The rooms were large and comfortable, and everything was so clean and tidy. It was excellent, and I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance.

The surrounding financial district is quiet, and it's very close to the train station and attractions by taxi, making transportation extremely convenient. ✅ Clean and Comfortable Rooms: The room was more spacious than expected, with modern and simple decor and new facilities. The bedding was soft and clean, ensuring a sound sleep; the soundproofing was also excellent, completely blocking out outside noise. ✅ Attentive and Thoughtful Service: The receptionist was very friendly and proactively upgraded me to a higher floor room, also recommending nearby restaurants. When I forgot my charging cable at check-out, the hotel contacted me and mailed it back – so thoughtful! ✅ Excellent Value: The quality of the accommodation at this price is a pleasant surprise! The included breakfast offers a wide variety of options, and the local snacks are delicious.

Hotel receptionist was all generally good and friendly to hotel guests. Especially to both Hotel Receptionist Liu Yan (刘妍) & Shi Zhou (石卓) shown below as they are both awesome ! Would highly recommend this hotel stay to those heading to Shandong, Dongying ! Cheers ! :)

The front desk service is very good, and the room is large and quiet. The air conditioner is not cooling, making the room very hot

Hotel was in right location, rooms were average, breakfast was not perfect.. sliced bread was available but no have butter and jam., egg omelet was not available..

It is the earliest hotel operated by the Blue Ocean Group. It has been open for a long time. The rooms have been renovated, the overall facilities are good, the breakfast is very good with a full range of varieties, and there are several restaurants in the hotel, all of which are quite popular.

The hotel is very easy to find and has free parking. The staff are all very polite and helpful with luggage. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the facilities are complete. The staff are always responsive to any needs. The overall environment is excellent, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. They even have porridge and tea eggs for late-night snacks! Highly recommended!!
