Choosing to stay in Bamei is the most correct decision for this trip to Western Sichuan. The boss’s name was Suonan, and he took us up the mountain to drive cattle. By the way, we climbed up the hill behind and saw the same view of Moshi Park. As a child who grew up in the city, I had the added experience of being in the mountains. I also went into the cowshed and saw yaks. The yak hot pot we had at the B&B in the evening, the vegetables were very fresh and delicious, and the portion was large, so it was well received! Although the mountains in winter are not as full of flowers as in spring or as green as in summer, they are uniquely majestic and steep in winter. Suonan and his sister are honest and friendly. Suonan is a person who is willing to use his brain and learn, and he chatted with us a lot along the way. The two siblings run the small B&B very well. Next time I wait for summer, I will definitely come again if I have the chance!

The service was very warm and the room facilities were also good. The hot pot included in the package and the barbecue the next day were both excellent. I would suggest adding more pillow options, as the current pillows are too high and uncomfortable. The room is very clean and spacious, with floor heating throughout the house and a smart toilet. The decoration is very unique. I heard from the boss that it combines ******* and Bhutanese styles. There is plenty of hot water in the room. Daofu County is less than 3,000 meters above sea level. It is very comfortable to take a hot bath on the fifth floor, watch the night view, and play ******* games. I sleep well. I especially like the friendly service and the free seasonal local apples, which were crispy and sweet. I heard that he has his own restaurant nearby, which is also Himalayan-style and ranked very high locally. I will definitely go and try it next time!

The surroundings are lovely and peaceful, and the cleanliness was quite decent. The owner has horses on site, and although it was too cold for us to ride them, it adds to the charm. The place features grasslands and horses, and the hygiene was satisfactory. A big plus: prices didn't increase during the May Day holiday, making it excellent value for money. I bet it would be absolutely wonderful to visit in the summer!

Good Option in Daofu. Room was spacious and mostly clean, except for a few cobwebs that I didn't min, and pretty dirty windows. Reception staff was very helpful in arranging onward transportation (I speak Chinese though). Breakfast was a bit disappointing but I guess for the rather cheap price you cannot expect too much.

The hotel has a good location in the bustling downtown area of ​​the county, making it easy to find places to eat. There's also a surface parking lot behind the hotel, which is convenient for those driving. The front desk service was good. When I arrived, my room wasn't fully cleaned yet, so I waited in the lobby for a while. Perhaps they rushed me a bit. When I finally entered the room, the cleanliness was just average; there were some miscellaneous items on the carpet, and cigarette butts in the bathroom 😓. Management needs to be improved. The room was large, and the facilities were average. The bedding was fairly comfortable. Breakfast was provided, and it tasted good. There was a pleasant surprise—they even had yak butter tea! I asked the staff to prepare a bowl, which was quite nice and helped with acclimatization.

Cleaning crew placed new water and amenities in front of our door when we were not there. Note: I don't know why they dont serve the breakfast in the very nice decorated lobby, instead they have that strange unfriendly purpose-serving breakfast room in another building next ro the carpark with four tables, some chairs and a 2m buffet. The breakfast room doesn't fit to the standard and style of the hotel itself at all.
