This was the most satisfying night's stay of our entire May Day trip. Coming here truly felt like coming home. Even though we arrived at the guesthouse late, the owner was still very welcoming and cheerful, helping us with our luggage. We woke up late in the morning, and the auntie even cooked us a bowl of hot rice noodles. It was a very heartwarming trip. Booking here is definitely the right choice. Needless to say, the basic cleanliness and bedding were exceptional. The only regret is that I forgot to take a picture of the guesthouse during the day. The mountain view room offered views of the sunrise, clouds, and terraced fields in the morning. For this price, it's unbeatable. I highly recommend booking here.

The location is close to the No. 2 terraces, because on the side of the road, you can get on the sightseeing bus with beckoning, and you can catch the first sightseeing bus to watch the sunrise. Thanks to the family who owns the hotel, we had a wonderful stay. The owner 胡姐 was very helpful amd responsive to guide us on public transport logistics. Our hotel room was immediately upgraded on arrival even without our request. There is a large restaurant within the hotel which is priced resonably. Apparently their restuarant is the biggest in this area. The hotel is directly right in front of viewing gallery platform number 3 and is great to see sunrise without travelling far to the other viewing galleries. Our stay has been made super memorable by the owner's sweet daughter who sells super yummy sausages. We look forward to stay at the hotel again for the autumn harvest.

The room is clean and hygienic, the proprietress is very warm and thoughtful, and the food is delicious. It is humid in the mountainous area and clothes are not easy to dry. The proprietress helped us dry the clothes, but the quilts and bedding in the room were very dry. I stayed here for two nights and it was very cordial. I felt really relaxed and my family was very satisfied. There are also two cute kittens to play with. At the door of the B&B, you can take the passenger bus to Congjiang County. There are two buses a day, which is very convenient. The proprietress will help you make the phone call in advance. The driver will honk the horn along the way in the morning to pick up passengers through the village, which is very village-flavored.

Our stay began with a slight hiccup regarding the room type, but the owner, a pleasant young man, sincerely resolved it. Among accommodations in Jiabang, this guesthouse stands out for its pleasant environment. It's clean, and the rooms are spacious. For Jiache Village, the facilities are quite decent, and the location is excellent, conveniently situated on the road to Observation Deck #6. However, there were a few downsides. First, for guests staying multiple nights, daily room cleaning and replenishment of disposable toiletries are not standard. We noticed our room hadn't been serviced on the afternoon of our second day and had to request items from the owner. Second, our room was unfortunately situated directly above the kitchen's exhaust vent. During meal preparation, cooking fumes would waft into the room, making it impossible to open the windows. It was quite frustrating to keep them closed in such a fresh-air environment. Third, being a mountainous region, there's quite a bit of wildlife, so guests should be cautious. On our last morning, venturing out early around 6 AM, we encountered a small snake—about finger-thick and 30-40cm long—crawling near the first-floor staircase. Thankfully, my husband, who was ahead, didn't step on it, and we quickly walked around. This was the fifth snake we'd seen in our two weeks in Guizhou, but the others were unfortunately roadkill; this one was alive. While I understand this might be common in mountainous regions, guesthouses should ideally have measures in place to handle such encounters to prevent alarming guests. It's not easy for a young entrepreneur to run a guesthouse, and I hope its operations become more streamlined, eventually becoming a top accommodation choice for visitors. 🐵

The room was on the third floor with a beautiful view. Sitting by the window drinking tea was very pleasant. The guesthouse is right by the main road, very close to Viewpoint No. 1, just a 3-minute walk, which is very convenient. The only downside is that the stairs are too narrow, making going up and down a bit inconvenient. However, there's a terrace downstairs where you can sit and watch the clouds rise and see the sunrise in the morning. The cleanliness was acceptable, but the squat toilet wasn't quite what I was used to!
