GGuest UserBefore the trip, I hurriedly booked the homestay: the service lever (the butler brother picks up and drop off at the scenic ferry station). Because of the 0 distance from the terraces, it is not very friendly to people who are uncomfortable with their knees and have difficulties climbing. The room is spacious, bright and clean. Breakfast Jiugongge, there is an appetite. Looking out of the room is a beautiful terrace.

Aa1i2Let's talk about the location of the hotel first. It's right next to the No. 3 Observation Deck. You can overlook the No. 3 Observation Deck from the hotel. Let's talk about the scenery. It's worth coming here. The terraces are green in this season. It just rained when I went there. The air is very fresh. The terraces and trees have just been bathed. They are very green. Let's talk about the hotel environment and facilities. There are many local specialties on the menu of the restaurant on the first floor, which can meet the needs of tasting local food. The boss, Sister Hu, said that the vegetables are all local and pure green, and they are delicious. The decoration of the hotel is very interesting, the layout is warm, and there are ornaments on the doors. It's not gorgeous or vulgar (it's also possible to see the beautiful scenery and feel good to see everything. Hehehe). The front desk and service staff: very friendly and considerate. The one who impressed me the most was Sister Hu. As a j person, I don't make plans and go wherever I go. I choose to come to Canada just to get extra pounds. I didn't think about where to go later. I talked to Sister Hu while eating. She helped me plan it and recommended me to go to Xiayao. The drive is just over 40 minutes. There is a Chinese wine on the tip of the tongue. It tastes very good. Thank you Sister Hu for the recommendation. By the way, let me say Jiapian, the scenery is beautiful and the facilities are very complete. It should be more beautiful in July and August when the terraces turn yellow. I look forward to coming again then 😁 I heard that the No. 3 platform is the sunrise viewing platform. AAnonymous UserThis is a hotel that our whole family is very satisfied with. There are 4 reasons:
1. New. This hotel was just open for more than ten days when we checked in, and the hardware and software were all up-to-date. Smart toilet, toilet, shower and laundry pool are separated, and the shower equipment has four outlets (the bottom outlet is convenient for young children to take a bath).
2. The scenery is beautiful. As shown in the picture 1-3, the terraces and Miao Village are outside the window. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery in the room. We also took a rainbow after the rain in the room. The first floor of the hotel is a restaurant. You can eat outdoors on the balcony. You can watch the terraces while eating. It is very lazy and idle.
3. The boss is very generous. Drink mineral water casually, and give a lot of toiletries (we set a double room, more than two sets of toiletries prepared in advance in the room).
4. The bed is big. The bed in the double room should be visually 1.5m, very comfortable.
I am very satisfied with the hotel booked in the terraces of the Jiabang!

GGuest UserI drove more than two hours on the mountain road at night and arrived at the hotel at 11 o'clock. It was at the top of the Jiabang Rice Terraces. The room was very big, the air conditioner seemed a bit weak, the quilt was a bit damp, and it was still a bit cold at the top of the mountain. I didn't dare to spend the whole night. Take off your clothes and go to bed. There are very few people here during the Spring Festival. The terraces are the most beautiful in April and May. The room price is on the high side. Breakfast, porridge, steamed buns and eggs are 10 yuan per person. The hygiene is OK. It is recommended to stay in the peak season. Don’t go back and go all the way. It’s nice to go down and see the terraced fields.

Eecho2158Our stay began with a slight hiccup regarding the room type, but the owner, a pleasant young man, sincerely resolved it. Among accommodations in Jiabang, this guesthouse stands out for its pleasant environment. It's clean, and the rooms are spacious. For Jiache Village, the facilities are quite decent, and the location is excellent, conveniently situated on the road to Observation Deck #6.
However, there were a few downsides. First, for guests staying multiple nights, daily room cleaning and replenishment of disposable toiletries are not standard. We noticed our room hadn't been serviced on the afternoon of our second day and had to request items from the owner. Second, our room was unfortunately situated directly above the kitchen's exhaust vent. During meal preparation, cooking fumes would waft into the room, making it impossible to open the windows. It was quite frustrating to keep them closed in such a fresh-air environment. Third, being a mountainous region, there's quite a bit of wildlife, so guests should be cautious. On our last morning, venturing out early around 6 AM, we encountered a small snake—about finger-thick and 30-40cm long—crawling near the first-floor staircase. Thankfully, my husband, who was ahead, didn't step on it, and we quickly walked around. This was the fifth snake we'd seen in our two weeks in Guizhou, but the others were unfortunately roadkill; this one was alive. While I understand this might be common in mountainous regions, guesthouses should ideally have measures in place to handle such encounters to prevent alarming guests.
It's not easy for a young entrepreneur to run a guesthouse, and I hope its operations become more streamlined, eventually becoming a top accommodation choice for visitors. 🐵

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is the first choice for business trips in Congjiang. The location is good. You can go anywhere you want. It is ok to take a taxi at the door. The food street is opposite the store. There is a pharmacy next to it. There is a supermarket and a square. It is a 10-minute drive from the hotel to the Shamiao Village. The children of this tribe are very cute and the hotel owner is very enthusiastic. It is very interesting to recommend me to many places to play. The hotel is spacious and bright, clean and tidy. It is worth recommending this hotel. 👍

KKa-LaLaLaThe host of this accomodation is what makes this place extra special! She was very attentive to any enquiry that we had and was super sweet! The house is in the traditional style so is a little noisy when moving around at night, the beds are hard but clean and the shower is hot with good pressure, plus the location is directly opposite from the entrance to Basha village so it is very convenient! She helped us to arrange a very good price for a driver to take our family to Congjiang railway station on departure and boiled us some eggs for breakfast as the driver came early and we didn’t have time eat.
