We booked a small room, and while it was tiny, it had everything we needed. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, about two traffic lights away (a 5-minute walk). Shinjuku Station is roughly an 8-10 minute straight walk. This is a very popular hotel, and there's a 24-hour FamilyMart right downstairs. The front desk is on the third floor. Hearing other travelers nearby made us feel quite safe and comfortable.

The hotel has a free shuttle to Disneyland. 
The airport limo bus stops directly at the hotel. 
No house keeping. The rooms are very small. Can probably open one luggage at a time. 
Take note that during winter, the aircon is on heater mode. The room is very hot and stuffy. Only returned to the room at night, hence the temperature was still bearable. If during the day, I think the room will be extremely hot without the aircon.

Location: There is an underground walkway to Shinjuku Station but the walk takes 15min. Going to station in morning is ok as the walkway is downhill but walking from the station to the hotel is tough as the walkway is uphill.
Cleanliness: The cleaner was good for the first 6 days but my last day the cleaning staff did not throw away my used tea bag, nor clean the cup I used. 
Service: There is English speaking staff and provided accurate information on all my enquiries
Facilites: Self-service luggage storage, laundry with self dispensing laundry liquid, microwaves, take as many pillows and amenities as you like, including face mask and jojoba oil. There facilities are awesome

I was choosing between room in the Main building or Annex, I saw Annex has a higher rating than the Main so I went with Annex, which in my booking is 10% more expensive than the Main. In hind sight I should have gone with room in the Main building because Main building is directly connected to the underground walkway to the station without exposing to rain.

📍 Location & Accessibility
This hotel’s best feature is its incredible location — literally a few steps from Akihabara Station (JR, Metro Hibiya Line, and Tsukuba Express), making almost everywhere in Tokyo easy to reach. You’ll find restaurants, convenience stores, anime shops, and cafes right outside. Its placement in the heart of the Akihabara electronics and pop-culture district is perfect for tech lovers and casual explorers alike.  

🛏 Rooms & Comfort
Rooms are typical of central Tokyo — compact but functional. Standard amenities include free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a kettle. While some guests feel the rooms are small (especially with larger luggage), most find them clean and comfortable enough for short to medium stays. Bathrooms are small, as expected in Japanese city hotels, but generally well-maintained.  

✨ Cleanliness & Service
Overall, cleanliness scores high among guests, with many praising the housekeeping and friendly, helpful staff. Some reviews mention minor dust or cleanliness issues — like spots under furniture — but these reports are in the minority compared to the overwhelmingly positive feedback.  

🍽 Breakfast & Facilities
The hotel offers a buffet breakfast with Japanese and Western options (for a fee), and there’s also a Denny’s attached for convenient meals. Other facilities include vending machines, luggage storage, a business center, and 24-hour reception.

The room is still relatively large. It is quite close to Lichuan Station. The room is very clean. The surrounding is quiet but the cloth is remote. There is no bear. It is just that the lobby is on the 3rd floor. It is not easy to find. It is recommended to Google Maps.

The whole hotel gives an old impression.
The air conditioning is centrally controlled and the temperature cannot be set.
The bathtub is small and it's not possible to relax in it.
I think there is a reason why it is cheap.
There is a multi-story parking lot behind the hotel where you can park for 750 yen per night.
I think the Washington Hotel in front of Yamagata Station is several times better.

You won’t have to be worried even if it’s snowing or raining.

A side note to travellers from the hotter climate, the hotel doesn’t supply air conditioning during winter. Instead it has a small webbed facility that allows outside air to flow into the room. This slight chills the room. However during the day, the room will be super hot.

Initially we had a room facing the sun and when we checked in, the room is super hot. Called the customer service only to find out they didn’t have air conditioning during winter and we have to rent a fan from them.

After a slight communication, the customer service is kind enough to upgrade us to a bigger room which is slightly cooler. Big props to the customer service lady! 5 stars service !

Haven't stayed here in six years, and it's just as I remember it. Lots of good memories. The room was spacious, clean, and hygienic, with hardly any unpleasant smells, and a nice view. It's only a 3-minute walk from the station and one stop by train to the airport, which is perfect for catching an early flight the next day. They also offer a free airport shuttle bus.

The self-check-in process was quite convenient.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and there's plenty of shopping and dining nearby. There's a drugstore and a 24-hour supermarket right across the street, and a mall, outlet stores, and Don Quijote across from the station. It's really ideal for travelers who want to do some last-minute shopping the day before they leave.
