The Grand Walkerhill Hotel, a renowned and established hotel in Seoul, still maintains excellent quality and standards. From the lobby ambiance and public spaces to the overall environment, you can feel the stability and upscale feel of a mature hotel system. The hotel itself covers a large area, with many landscapes and facilities worth exploring slowly; it's not the kind of place you can fully experience in just one night. I particularly love the walking trails around the hotel; they are very green and offer a great sense of a vacation while strolling, providing a rare relaxing space within Seoul city. Transportation is also very convenient, with shuttle buses to and from the city center and airport limousines, which is very reassuring for tourists. Overall, it's a classic hotel with a sense of historical charm, yet the guest experience remains top-notch.

I chose Bisca Walkerhill for my staycation, and the reviews are completely satisfactory. I checked in via mobile, looked around the room, went for a foot bath, and then went exploring the Walkerhill area. Time flew by... I walked the Walkerhill trails, used the pool, and used the gym. One night was simply not enough... I wanted to enjoy more and stay longer.

It was perfect for a quiet vacation in the city. They picked me up by limousine between the Douglas Hotel and Walkerhill, and it arrived sooner than I thought after calling, so it wasn't too inconvenient.

conveniently located in Terminal 1 and next to Matina Lounge. It was a life saver after a long haul flight to not have to deal with a taxi or the train into seoul. The room is pretty barebones, with a small amenity kit and some water bottles. Perfect for the no-frills traveler who just wants to pass-out. There were no windows in my room, only a TV. I did enjoy the complimentary shower products. The ”gym” contains 2 yoga mats, some dumbells, a bench, and a stationary bike.

This is my second stay within six months, and it's my top choice for international transfers. The only problem is how incredibly difficult it is to book a room; they're constantly sold out. I've had to snag a booking in the middle of the night every time.

**Facilities:** The room is small, just enough space for carry-on luggage. It has a TV, shower, and hairdryer. The hotel also offers coffee and snacks. My only complaint is that the in-room air conditioning can't be fully turned off and blows directly on your head, making it easy to catch a cold.

**Hygiene:** It's okay. There were still hairs on the towels, and I saw some silverfish in the room.

**Location:** The location is unbeatable, a million times better than sleeping outside the airport. It's on the fourth floor, directly opposite gate 252, right next to the Matina Lounge. Super convenient for travelers.

**Service:** The front desk staff are very friendly. I had booked an 8 PM check-in, but we were able to check in just after 7 PM. Check-out is by 8:30 AM, but even with that, it solved a huge problem for me.

Given it's a capsule hotel, it felt a little cramped, but aside from that, everything else was fantastic.
It's incredibly convenient for exploring Yeosu! Romantic Pocha, a must-visit spot, is just a taxi ride away for around 5,000 won. Other attractions like Yi Sun-sin Square and Odongdo Island are also easily accessible by taxi for roughly the basic fare.
The room was clean, and they even provide board games, making it a great spot for a relaxed staycation. After 10 PM, there's a terrace-like bench right outside the hotel, which is perfect for enjoying a can of beer with a view.
I had a slight issue with parking, but the hotel staff kindly assisted me. All the staff members were incredibly friendly.
Furthermore, staying at the hotel grants you discounts at various restaurants and even the exhibition hall right next door. They also thoughtfully provide a list of addresses and phone numbers for Yeosu's tourist attractions and popular eateries, making it an excellent choice for a Yeosu trip.
I didn't manage to take any specific photos of the hotel, so I've substituted them with a picture of the view from the terrace right in front.
