After adding an extra bed to make it a triple room, it was still quite spacious. The large window in the room faced the tarmac, so you could see big airplanes just by pulling back the curtains. The hotel entrance is right next to the AirDo airline counter on the 2nd floor of T2, which was super convenient as I was taking an AirDo flight the next day – the check-in counter was right outside the hotel door! The Keikyu train station is downstairs, making it really easy to get to the city too!

One most convenient hotel strategically located right @ Shibuya Crossing 🚠⛩️🏔️, easy access to anywhere in Tokyo. The room has cosy bed 🛌 for great beauty sleep. Best thing, the hotel offers Airport Limo bus 🚌 transfers right @ the Level 5 Lobby carpark area. There are countless oishi eateries, great retail shopping 🛍️ & spa nearby for relaxing massage. Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I booked this stay for guests, as I live nearby and know the area well, but this was my first time booking this hotel. When picking up my guests, I learned that the hotel lobby is on the 4th floor, not the ground floor. It's about a 3-minute walk from the station, with supermarkets, izakayas, and Marui Department Store right next door. Don Quijote is just a 3-4 minute walk away. Within a 10-minute walk, you'll find a wide variety of shops, including Uniqlo and Tokyu Department Store, making it very convenient for shopping, dining, and leisure. Inokashira Park is also nearby, which is stunning in spring and autumn. You can walk through the park to reach the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka. Amenities are conveniently located by the elevator on the 4th floor. There's a water dispenser by the elevator on each floor, and in the 4th-floor lobby, there's a coffee machine (offering coffee, water, soup, etc.) and bagged teas for self-service. The staff are friendly, and the room is a good size – not too big, not too small, just enough. Compared to Chinese-owned hotels, it might feel a bit compact. It's not a new hotel, but the facilities are complete, and the overall experience might vary for different people. I highly recommend it! 👍 From Kichijoji Station, it's very convenient to get to Shinjuku, Shibuya, Tokyo, and more. The surrounding area is vibrant and lively.

Hotel room is clean . Hotel location is good with plenty of restaurants at level 2 & 3 . There are nice restaurants nearby the hotel. Hotel is situated near Train station. So it’s very convenient for traveling.

The hotel room was really small, but the location was great. It was only a 5-minute walk to the bustling Shibuya crossing, and about 5-10 minutes to both the subway and JR stations. The area itself was very lively, with a Big Camera store right next door.

Check-in was in the basement. Our room faced the station, so we had to sleep with earplugs at night. There was barely enough space to open one suitcase in the room. The cleanliness was average, but the bed was quite comfortable. Sound insulation was also just okay. Overall, the best thing about this place was its location; everything else was pretty standard. For Tokyo, the price was acceptable.

This hotel is excellent! The location is superb, the rooms are spotless, and the surrounding area has a fantastic vibe with plenty of shopping and attractions. Although they initially gave me a small room when I booked a medium one, they apologized and switched my room the next morning, even compensating me with a meal. While the hotel itself is small, there are tons of restaurants nearby, offering a wide variety of cuisines. I'd definitely want to stay here again!

Lovely hotel with in great location. However, not truly a five star hotel. At best it is a four star in my opinion. 

Lack of explanation of their amenities and what needs to be booked on checking in. Eg Concierge not aware that the jazz club needed to be booked in advance. Not his fault really as he has perhaps never been trained  On arrival to the club, we were then literally ushered out to our embarrassment as all other sitting guests observed this as there were three members of staff attempting to use body language as they could not communicate in English nor did they wish to use their phone translate app. Very unlike Japanese people’s calm and kind style. 

Many areas in cerulean floor requires updating. 

On reporting the above, we were told that a QR code should have been provided and they forgot.

The hotel lobby is on the 30th floor of the building. The hotel itself only occupies two floors with over a hundred rooms. On the 29th floor, there's a public bath, an ice machine, a washing machine, and a microwave.

**Amenities:** Standard intelligent toilet. The room windows don't open. The TV has an HDMI port.

**Cleanliness:** Daily housekeeping is provided. If you don't want your room cleaned, just hang the 'do not disturb' sign on your door, and the staff will leave fresh towels in a bag hanging on your doorknob.

**Environment:** There's a mall and supermarket downstairs, and Takashimaya is right next door.

**Service:** Luggage storage is available, and wheelchairs can be borrowed. Self check-in is an option. The parking lot charges a fee.

I come to Tokyo several times a year, staying a fortnight or more each time. This time I spent seven nights at The Capitol Hotel Tokyu.

The room faced Hie Shrine. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows I could see the shrine's copper roof and half of Tokyo's skyline. The décor was modern without excess; the layout flowed easily, Bose speakers hidden in the walls, another set in the bathroom ceiling, connected by a 3.5mm jack. The curtains were motorized, though you hardly needed to close them.

The turndown service. I would leave in the evening and return late to find the room changed: only the hallway light and bedside lamp left on, a bottle of water and a glass on the nightstand, two chocolates beside them. The evening tea and teacup, previously stored in the cabinet, had been moved next to the coffee machine. These changes were so slight you had to think back carefully to confirm they had happened at all. The temperature and humidity had been adjusted. As if the room itself remembered your habits.

Room service fell short of the ryokan in Hakone or Lake Toya, but well above the ordinary hotel. Each day I made two or three cups of complimentary coffee, played music, read, wrote. In seven days I finished three books. The research ahead began to take shape.

There were drawbacks. No washing machine, but a decent laundromat ten minutes' walk away—a chance to wander the streets of Akasaka. The room provided HDMI and ethernet ports but no cables; for those who came to rest, perhaps a mercy. The minibar fridge was mostly occupied by drinks for purchase, same as the Imperial, though there was still room for my sparkling water.

The day I left it was half past five and fully dark. I could barely make out the faces of the bellhop and the taxi driver. Together they loaded my luggage into the boot. I wished the bellhop a happy new year in Japanese and told her I liked her hat. She smiled and returned the greeting. As the taxi pulled out of the underground drive, I thought of the inns Kawabata once wrote about: what had to be sought in the mountains of snow country can now be reached by elevator from the B2 exit of a metro station.

I have watched the Shinagawa Prince Hotel loosen quietly over time, slip a little. That kind of decline is rarely one great error. It begins the day someone forgets to leave a glass of water, neglects to move a packet of tea, omits a newspaper. As for The Capitol Hotel Tokyu: in Japanese, what I experienced over these seven days is called ちょうどいい.

The location of this hotel is extremely convenient. 
The most important is the cleaning service can be done every day, unlikely strange for most of the hotel in Japan. 
We stayed 4 nights, the room was cleaned everyday. 
We didn’t book for the room with view, but once we went to the ferry wheel, and got lucky with free ride, it’s pretty ok.

Pros: The hotel boasts a great location, well-designed rooms, and good breakfast. Cons: The facilities are incomplete, the room phone was out of order, the duvet was very thin, and the service was particularly poor. The hotel is about a 40-minute walk from the JR station, or two subway stops away. It's situated in a bustling commercial area, making its location quite good. The room size was decent, and the layout was comfortable. Thanks to the front desk for providing a room with a nice view. However, the duvet in the hotel was very thin. Sapporo in late June is still quite cool, ranging from 13-22℃, and it gets quite chilly at night. We requested three extra blankets upon check-in, but I still woke up freezing in the early hours. The room phone wasn't working. When I went down to the front desk, they were reluctant to provide any more blankets, feeling that three blankets for two people was already sufficient. After some persuasion, they grudgingly sent up two more. This service philosophy is very strange. Moreover, the most unacceptable aspect was the breakfast service. We arrived quite late for check-in, already past midnight, so we woke up late. We got to the restaurant at 9:40 AM, and by 10:00 AM, they started repeatedly urging us to finish. At 10:15 AM, they forcibly stopped our meal. While breakfast officially ends at 10:00 AM, we had already taken our food and were eating slowly, not requiring any further service from the hotel. I've been to Japan four or five times before and stayed in over a dozen Japanese hotels. Never once have I experienced being forcibly cleared out at the end of the meal service! They even disallowed us from taking away half-eaten bread. Where is the basic hotel service concept in the female manager of that restaurant? It's utterly outrageous! Given Sapporo's vibrant nightlife, it's common to go to bed late and wake up later, but apparently, that's not allowed at this hotel for breakfast.

I stayed here for an ARASHI concert. When I booked, there weren't many hotels left. This one had a decent location, and at the time, the price was relatively affordable, even though it was still just under 2100 yen for one night.

Facilities: The hotel is 30 years old, but I found the facilities to be perfectly adequate. Plus, there's a nice vanity area outside the bathroom where you can sit and get ready. The room itself was also quite spacious.

Service: The service was very good. When I booked, there were no non-smoking rooms available, but I emailed the hotel, and they said they could prepare the room for me with a smoke-free treatment. Indeed, there was no cigarette smell when I checked in.

Last year, in early August, the same room cost around 1700, but this year, booking two months in advance, it was only a little over 500. Honestly, the hotel being so affordable was a major reason why I came back to visit again.

The bathroom has a standard Japanese-style wet/dry separation, which even some much pricier hotels I stayed in later didn't offer. The amenities included something for relaxing your feet, haha, it still makes me laugh thinking about it!

If you check in early, you can request a room with a view of Universal Studios.

Universal Citywalk is right downstairs.

There's enough space to lay out two 32-inch suitcases flat.

Exit 18 at Honmachi Station has an elevator, but it's a bit of a walk. If you don't have luggage, Exit 14 is closer. I saw some reviews complaining about the inconvenience of having to go up to the 16th floor every time, but since I wasn't in a rush, it wasn't an issue for me. The triple room was very spacious, and we could open all three suitcases. The only minor point is that it would be better if the bathroom door was frosted glass. That way, it wouldn't be awkward if someone was showering while another person was using the toilet.

Overall: A business hotel in the Umeda area with good value for money.

Location: It's a 3-minute walk from Exit M10 at the end of Whity East Mall. This makes it very convenient for those needing to take the Hankyu, Hanshin, or JR lines to Kyoto and Kobe during their stay in Osaka, potentially saving on subway fares.

Surrounding Environment: Located in Doyama-cho, and near the Hankyu Higashidori Shopping Street, the overall atmosphere is lively and bustling, but there are no safety concerns.

Hotel Facilities: A bit dated, but housekeeping is fine. Since it's a building from '78, it doesn't have vending machines on every floor.

Regarding the Room: The bathtub is small. My requests for a high floor and a south-facing room when booking were not met. Even though I checked in at 4 PM, when there should have been plenty of rooms available, I ended up on the 6th floor in a courtyard-facing room. It had poor lighting, and drawing the curtains immediately exposed privacy. The only upside was that it was very quiet at night for sleeping.
