The cabin was absolutely beautiful! I was a bit hesitant before coming, having seen some negative reviews, but after arriving, I immediately wished I could stay a few more days. Waking up early to jog around the hotel, then heading to the hot springs and breakfast, and when I felt like it, just popping over to the adjacent shopping village for some retail therapy – it was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable.

Hotel is located about 15 mins from the train station. There’s shuttle bus provided every half hour from the station. Stores closes between 8-9pm so nothing much at night. Good for relaxation

I brought my own snowboard to Karuizawa. It's a 70-minute Shinkansen ride from Tokyo Station to JR Karuizawa Station. The Shinkansen luggage racks have straps to secure snowboards. After exiting the station, head to the hotel service center (open until 7 PM) located on the far right of the 7/11 convenience store at the South Exit (Pic 7). You can drop off your luggage there and then explore the Plaza unencumbered. Take the brown hotel shuttle bus to B21, where The Prince is located, every hour on the hour and half-hour. Your luggage will already be in your room, but snowboards are not allowed inside. Each day, I'd take my own snowboard on the brown bus to the gondola at the East Building. You can buy ski passes and rent equipment there. Ski pass prices are shown in Pic 6. Only guests staying in the East Building can use the hotel's lockers for ski equipment. The West Building also has a gondola, but it requires a short walk. You can't enter the hotel wearing ski boots, but the Makibi restaurant seems to be an exception. After skiing, take the green bus back to the hotel. Of the two onsen, Hongye Bisen has newer facilities and better views from the outdoor bath. All Prince Hotel restaurants require reservations made via QR code. Pics 4 and 5 show the breakfast at the main building, which is high quality and delicious. From 10 AM to 8 PM, you can enjoy unlimited soft drinks in the bar area. Finally, use the luggage delivery service when checking out. I think The Prince offers the best value for money.

We spent 2 nights in Prince after first 2 nights in Kusatsu onsen town. The hotel looked underwhelming on arrival and the front office service was efficient but cursory compared to the warm hospitality we had in the ryokan stay. It was low season and hotel was very quiet and had a ”cold” atmosphere.

I was further disappointed when we were shown our room which was on the lowest floor with a simple garden view. On requesting the check-in staff for a change of room on higher floor and a more scenic view, I was told there is an upgrade charge, which I accepted. The new room was the same size and configuration but on a higher floor with a nice view of Mt Asama. While I was happy to pay the fee, I can't help but compare their practice with all the hotels that I have stayed in all these years, where room changes were complimentary so long as the room type remains the same. Nevertheless, the hotel's facilities delighted me immensely and I enjoyed the overall experience.
The highlight of the hotel stay was the fantastic view of Asama in a high ceiling dining room with full glass window. We were able to have different table seatings for both morning breakfast as the hotel occupancy was low, which gave us different perspectives of the scenery.
The other highlight of the hotel is the onsen facility which is located in a separate building on higher ground, accessible via a self service automated tram. Aside from Asama view in the outdoor onsens, there is a common lounge which has equally awesome view of Asama. We enjoyed our time soaking in onsen and resting in the lounge.

There are three rooms in the two-story villa, one of which has four beds and the other two beds. Each room has a bathtub. The open-air hot spring in the room is very small and can only accommodate one person, but the bathroom has a large jacuzzi and a TV. The vacation is really great. The ski resort is very close, and you can play at the age of three. Aolai has a few big names that are still expensive. The sukiyaki pot and teppanyaki in the hotel are great. If you bring children, it is more suitable than Hoshino, and Hoshino Hot Spring can not go. The hot spring in the hotel is already very good. There is a big supermarket, Delice, which is 15 minutes by taxi. You can buy things and cook in the room. The cooking in the room is very convenient. The waiter can wash the dishes. It is perfect.

We have been travelling through asia for two months, and this might have been the best hotel of the entire holiday. The location is spectecular, nezt to a river and between all the volcano plumes, the staff is friendly and are very detailed about how everything works. But the onsens are the best. First of all, they are open 24/7, so you can go there whenever you want. But there are a lot of them, with different temperstures, and its directly next to the river, so the background sound of the flowing river makes it even more relaxing. There is also a seperated onsen in another part of the hotel, which has an inside and outside part. This hotel is a truly amazing hotel.

There was plenty of fruit.
I wish they had more prepared dishes.
It felt like the chef who makes roast beef was just doing it haphazardly.
The hotel interior is a little old-fashioned, but the hot springs are great.
The view from inside the hotel was amazing.

Our stay at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo was excellent overall. The environment was quiet and elegant, and the views were stunning 🗼, truly giving us that Tokyo city getaway feel. For Tokyo, the room was quite spacious and very comfortable, with the view being a major plus – we could see the Tokyo Tower, and it was especially beautiful when lit up at night. The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, and attention to detail was evident. We were also very satisfied with the service; the staff were friendly and efficient. The dining quality was generally good, with delicious food. It was also very convenient for traveling with children, offering ample space and a relaxed experience. Overall, it's a highly recommended hotel that we would definitely consider staying at again.
