My stay at the Sheraton Grand Shanghai Pudong Hotel was fantastic. I'd particularly like to commend the front desk staff. They were warm and polite, checked me in efficiently, and were patient and responsive when I had questions. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location is excellent. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I'll definitely choose this hotel first when I come to Shanghai again.

This hotel is absolutely perfect for a groom's wedding suite! It's very photogenic, and the room even came with thoughtful red bedding. The living room was beautifully decorated, which created a fantastic ambiance. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided excellent natural light. Parking was convenient, and they offer simple meals on the first floor, which was great for feeding the driver, photographer, and other staff during lunch. Overall, we were very satisfied. It's an excellent choice for anyone planning a wedding here! 😊

The hotel environment is quiet, and the rooms are clean. Our sea view king room offered a river view. It's well-equipped with a gym and a swimming pool. Room service is attentive; you can contact customer service for anything you need. Both adults and children had a great stay.

Took the kids to check out the landmark hotel in Jiading this summer. It's conveniently located near Jiading North Station. 🏨

Great value package:

*   599 RMB pre-sale package: Double room + double lunch at the Chinese restaurant + next day's buffet breakfast for two adults and one child. The dishes were plentiful with lots of choices.
*   Free access to facilities: The swimming pool and gym were both available, and the kids had a blast playing in the water.

Overall experience:
As Jiading's benchmark five-star hotel, both the service and environment were excellent. When traveling with kids, peace of mind is key. The breakfast had a wide variety, the pool was great for letting off steam, and the kids ate well, played enough, and slept soundly. The package price was very reasonable for the summer, offering good value for money.

Perfect for families with kids looking for a relaxing weekend or holiday getaway. Highly recommended!

This time, I invited some friends to stay at the Sheraton Chongming, and overall, it was quite good.

**Facilities:** It's close to the G40 highway, making transportation convenient. The five-star standard is acceptable, the rooms are spacious, and the wet and dry areas are separated. The shower water was especially comfortable.

**Environment:** Chongming Island has a great ecological environment with lush greenery. Rooms on the east side offer a river view, and you can even spot old buffalo, bringing you closer to nature.

**Service:** Replenishing breakfast items was a bit slow and required reminding the kitchen, especially during peak check-in times on Saturdays. They should prepare earlier.

Booked this for my parents and they had a very comfortable stay. The overall environment was clean, and all the staff members were very friendly. They even gave us complimentary tickets to Bihai Jinsha, which was a great deal. The set menu at the Chinese restaurant was delicious and offered excellent value for money. Breakfast was also good, though the variety was a bit limited, perhaps because it wasn't a weekend. Overall, my parents were very satisfied.

I had a great stay at Sheraton Pudong. The customer service was exceptional — every time I had a question or needed something, the staff responded right away and made sure everything was taken care of.

The hotel itself was spotless. Honestly, out of all the places I stayed during my three weeks in China, this was one of the cleanest accommodations I came across.

The location couldn’t be better. There’s a subway station right outside the hotel, which made getting around super easy. Plus, food options are everywhere, and the newly opened Walmart nearby was a nice bonus for quick snacks and essentials.

We booked a family room, and my kids loved it. It was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for us to relax after long days exploring Shanghai.

Overall, Sheraton Pudong ticked all the boxes: great service, super clean rooms, and unbeatable convenience. I’d definitely stay here again.

Mixed feelings about this place.

The rooms are nice, the bed is comfortable, there's parking available, and the location is convenient for getting to both the city center and the airport. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of food to suit all tastes.

The service in the lobby is great; everyone is helpful and eager to assist. However, in the bar-restaurant, you're met with indifferent waiters, despite the incredibly high prices for all the food. When we arrived at the restaurant, another guest was arguing with the bartender about the inflated prices, but even after she left, no one paid attention to us, so we had to leave.

There are major issues with soundproofing at this hotel. In the room next door, a family with children was staying, and we could hear conversations and children shouting until midnight, as if they were right in our room.

The next day, there was some event by the pool, a wedding or a birthday party, and music played until about 1 AM. It felt like the music was playing in our room, even though we were on the 18th floor.

The hotel is located near Taksim Square which is convenient if you are coming from the Istanbul Airport and take the Havaist bus. However, you will need to take the hotel's shuttle from Taksim Square to the hotel. This was very helpful, however it should be noted that the earliest bus leaves the  hotel for Taksim at 10:00am so if you want an early start to go sight-seeing you are left with finding your own way there.

The hotel itself is modern and the staff are attentive. They provided additional water to us on request. The room was comfortable and clean. However, my partner noted that the water pressure in the shower could have been better. 

Overall, it is a good hotel but doesn't have the best location. I think it is worth the money.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The amenities were good, and everything we needed was available.

I've stayed at this hotel three times already and will continue to do so (whenever I have a layover and need to spend the night in Istanbul between flights). The hotel is quite far from the main attractions (city center), but the metro line is convenient (direct to Taksim, and you can also get to the area near the Grand Bazaar, from where a tram will take you right into the heart of everything). The metro entrance is right nearby, less than a minute's walk. The bed is comfortable, all necessary amenities are available, and the breakfasts are plentiful with something for everyone. In September '25, guests were offered loofahs and toothbrushes, but these were no longer available in February '26. It's a shame, the loofahs were excellent. Upon check-in, they ask for a deposit: either a €100 hold on your card or cash. If you pay the deposit in euros or dollars in cash, they will return it upon check-out, but only in Turkish Lira.

The hotel is surrounded by numerous shopping malls. One of them, which I believe is Watergarden Istanbul, features a fantastic musical fountain and fire show that runs every hour on the hour after 8 PM, lasting for about three songs. It's quite a sight to behold. Also, across from Metropol Mall, there's a live shooting range which is quite affordable if you're interested. However, I wouldn't recommend buying luxury handbags in Istanbul. Even with the tax refund, they often end up being more expensive than in China, and the variety isn't particularly extensive. 😧

This is my second visit at the hotel, I love the 70s ambience especially the grand marble staircase leading up to the reception. The vast chandeliers in the lobby area adds to the overall good impression. There is nothing 70s about the rooms, many overlooking the Creek. The rooms are comfortable, well appointed with all the amenities except for a bathrobe.
Surprisingly, restaurant prices on offer are very reasonable for a 5 stars hotel. Service was excellent throughout.

When traveling abroad, I often opt for a branded hotel for that standardized experience. This one was exactly that – no surprises, good or bad. The breakfast was Turkish style, which we really couldn't get used to. It's super convenient to Mall of the Emirates with a direct internal connection. The rooftop bar offers views of the Burj Al Arab. Plus, there's a free sauna and hot spring.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – We Wish We Had Stayed Longer!

We stayed at the Sheraton in Dubai for two nights as a family of four, and we honestly wish we had booked a longer stay.

From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. A special thank you to Jazz at check-in, who made us feel so welcome and ensured everything went smoothly. Every member of staff was exceptional—from the bellhops who helped with our luggage, to the housekeeping team, and the staff in the cafeteria restaurant. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always happy to help.

The hotel itself was spotless, and our room was modern, beautifully maintained, and extremely comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax after a day out in Dubai.

We genuinely couldn’t find a single negative thing about our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be returning the next time we’re in Dubai.

10/10. Highly recommended—we can’t wait to come back!

A magnificent hotel with an ideal location, perfectly situated between the main road and the waterfront. It's a 3-minute walk to the beach, and they provide towels and umbrellas. The room is huge, the bathrobes are soft, the slippers are comfortable, and the bed and pillows are perfect. The service is excellent; they always resolve any issue, even bringing an needle with a thread kit. The soundproofing is also top-notch.

Tip: Ask for a lower floor to avoid waiting in line for the elevators during peak hours.

Booked an apartment, it was more like a studio. If you don't stay somewhere nice in Dubai, you won't enjoy yourself properly; only with good accommodation can you truly experience the beauty of Dubai! 😁 The room was very spacious, with one bedroom, a living room, and two bathrooms. The sofa was a sofa bed, which my daughter treated like a trampoline. The room also came with a full kitchen setup.

The hotel's pool is outsourced, and the staff's attitude was so-so... The view was average, and the area was quite small. Coming straight from the Ritz-Carlton, the Sheraton's pool left me a bit disappointed... The water was a bit cold, and we left within half an hour. Hotels in Dubai don't provide disposable bathtub liners, which honestly could be a new business opportunity, haha~
