For my birthday this year, my friends and I chose the Sheraton Grand Shanghai Pudong Hotel & Residences for a staycation. The overall experience far exceeded our expectations and was a pleasant surprise.

The hotel knew it was my birthday, so they specially decorated the room with a birthday theme and thoughtfully upgraded our room type, which really made the occasion feel special. The room facilities were in excellent condition, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered an incredible view of the Huangpu River. At night, the cityscape was absolutely stunning, and it was so comfortable to chat by the window with my friends.

The restaurant staff were polite and enthusiastic, proactive in their service, which significantly enhanced our dining experience.

In the evening, we had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant. You could tell the dishes were freshly prepared, not pre-made. All the dishes tasted wonderful. My friend raved about the braised fish, and both soups were amazing, with very unique flavors that we hadn't encountered much before.

I was very satisfied with everything, from the room environment and service to the dining. It's perfect for a small gathering with friends. I'll definitely come back to stay if I get the chance and will recommend it to my friends!

This hotel is absolutely perfect for a groom's wedding suite! It's very photogenic, and the room even came with thoughtful red bedding. The living room was beautifully decorated, which created a fantastic ambiance. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided excellent natural light. Parking was convenient, and they offer simple meals on the first floor, which was great for feeding the driver, photographer, and other staff during lunch. Overall, we were very satisfied. It's an excellent choice for anyone planning a wedding here! 😊

The hotel facilities are excellent, and every stay is a great experience. I was given a room on a high floor, which was very quiet. The lovely manager at the front desk was so thoughtful and wonderful during check-in, even gifting me a box of delicious fresh-meat mooncakes. The floor attendants were also very welcoming.

Took the kids to check out the landmark hotel in Jiading this summer. It's conveniently located near Jiading North Station. 🏨

Great value package:

*   599 RMB pre-sale package: Double room + double lunch at the Chinese restaurant + next day's buffet breakfast for two adults and one child. The dishes were plentiful with lots of choices.
*   Free access to facilities: The swimming pool and gym were both available, and the kids had a blast playing in the water.

Overall experience:
As Jiading's benchmark five-star hotel, both the service and environment were excellent. When traveling with kids, peace of mind is key. The breakfast had a wide variety, the pool was great for letting off steam, and the kids ate well, played enough, and slept soundly. The package price was very reasonable for the summer, offering good value for money.

Perfect for families with kids looking for a relaxing weekend or holiday getaway. Highly recommended!

When checking in, nothing was mentioned or explained. We weren't informed about the children's play facilities, nor were we offered children's toiletries. We had to ask for everything ourselves. They just handed us a room card without saying a word. Perhaps the hotel is quite old, as the in-room facilities were not great. Even with the curtains fully drawn, light still seeped through from the top. The air conditioning was so loud it sounded like construction was going on. The pillows and mattress were also very uncomfortable, and the disposable toiletries were incredibly poor. It's hard to believe this is Sheraton standard. The breakfast was also disappointing; we didn't even find Chongming cake, despite being in Chongming. The variety was limited, the taste was mediocre, and there was nothing special about it. For the price, both the service and facilities felt significantly worse than other hotels.

This is the first time I've been so eager to leave a positive review for a hotel. What particularly stood out was the excellent bedding quality in our family-themed room – it was incredibly comfortable and made for a great night's sleep! My son absolutely loved the space capsule bed and insisted I give you guys a good review.

Also, the separate toiletries provided for children were a really thoughtful touch. Thank you!

I'm quite particular when it comes to booking hotels, and this place offers amazing value for money. While the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it was clear a lot of care went into it. Guests could even DIY their meals, unlike some high-end hotels where you see a ton of dishes, but they're just there to fill space and taste terrible.

I'll definitely stay here again next time. However, one suggestion for improvement would be to enable screen mirroring on the TV.

I had a great stay at Sheraton Pudong. The customer service was exceptional — every time I had a question or needed something, the staff responded right away and made sure everything was taken care of.

The hotel itself was spotless. Honestly, out of all the places I stayed during my three weeks in China, this was one of the cleanest accommodations I came across.

The location couldn’t be better. There’s a subway station right outside the hotel, which made getting around super easy. Plus, food options are everywhere, and the newly opened Walmart nearby was a nice bonus for quick snacks and essentials.

We booked a family room, and my kids loved it. It was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for us to relax after long days exploring Shanghai.

Overall, Sheraton Pudong ticked all the boxes: great service, super clean rooms, and unbeatable convenience. I’d definitely stay here again.

First of all , nobody offer us Bonvoy membership,  room smell bad, mini bar not working and we asked to fix it because we have medicine and engineering came and didn't fix it , slippers very very cheap without hotel logo , no espresso machine which is basics now , actually it's not expected service from Marriot chain , to be honest the reception gave me 2 hours late check out once i asked him immediately with high level of attitude , they need to be more professional in hospitality.

The hotel is located near Taksim Square which is convenient if you are coming from the Istanbul Airport and take the Havaist bus. However, you will need to take the hotel's shuttle from Taksim Square to the hotel. This was very helpful, however it should be noted that the earliest bus leaves the  hotel for Taksim at 10:00am so if you want an early start to go sight-seeing you are left with finding your own way there.

The hotel itself is modern and the staff are attentive. They provided additional water to us on request. The room was comfortable and clean. However, my partner noted that the water pressure in the shower could have been better. 

Overall, it is a good hotel but doesn't have the best location. I think it is worth the money.

I stayed at Sheraton Esenyurt and overall the hotel is nice, but I had some issues with the service.

Some of the reception staff spoke in an unfriendly or slightly rude way, which was uncomfortable. Also, during breakfast, there was confusion and unnecessary checking. At first, no one checked anything, then later we were told we couldn’t eat without payment, which was not clearly explained before.

Since I have been a customer for a long time, I expected a better level of service. Unfortunately, it felt like the service quality has dropped.

This inconsistency and lack of clear communication made the experience stressful and disappointing. I hope the management improves staff communication and overall service quality.

I've stayed at this hotel three times already and will continue to do so (whenever I have a layover and need to spend the night in Istanbul between flights). The hotel is quite far from the main attractions (city center), but the metro line is convenient (direct to Taksim, and you can also get to the area near the Grand Bazaar, from where a tram will take you right into the heart of everything). The metro entrance is right nearby, less than a minute's walk. The bed is comfortable, all necessary amenities are available, and the breakfasts are plentiful with something for everyone. In September '25, guests were offered loofahs and toothbrushes, but these were no longer available in February '26. It's a shame, the loofahs were excellent. Upon check-in, they ask for a deposit: either a €100 hold on your card or cash. If you pay the deposit in euros or dollars in cash, they will return it upon check-out, but only in Turkish Lira.

The hotel is surrounded by numerous shopping malls. One of them, which I believe is Watergarden Istanbul, features a fantastic musical fountain and fire show that runs every hour on the hour after 8 PM, lasting for about three songs. It's quite a sight to behold. Also, across from Metropol Mall, there's a live shooting range which is quite affordable if you're interested. However, I wouldn't recommend buying luxury handbags in Istanbul. Even with the tax refund, they often end up being more expensive than in China, and the variety isn't particularly extensive. 😧

This is my second visit at the hotel, I love the 70s ambience especially the grand marble staircase leading up to the reception. The vast chandeliers in the lobby area adds to the overall good impression. There is nothing 70s about the rooms, many overlooking the Creek. The rooms are comfortable, well appointed with all the amenities except for a bathrobe.
Surprisingly, restaurant prices on offer are very reasonable for a 5 stars hotel. Service was excellent throughout.

The Sheraton boasts an excellent location, situated right above the Mall of the Emirates. You can access it directly from the metro via an underground passage. The twin beds were a little on the small side. Interestingly, there's no hairdryer outlet in the bathroom here in the UAE. The view from the window wasn't anything special. The breakfast was good, but after two days, it starts to get a bit repetitive. From outside, you can catch glimpses of the Burj Al Arab and the Burj Khalifa.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10 – We Wish We Had Stayed Longer!

We stayed at the Sheraton in Dubai for two nights as a family of four, and we honestly wish we had booked a longer stay.

From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. A special thank you to Jazz at check-in, who made us feel so welcome and ensured everything went smoothly. Every member of staff was exceptional—from the bellhops who helped with our luggage, to the housekeeping team, and the staff in the cafeteria restaurant. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always happy to help.

The hotel itself was spotless, and our room was modern, beautifully maintained, and extremely comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax after a day out in Dubai.

We genuinely couldn’t find a single negative thing about our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be returning the next time we’re in Dubai.

10/10. Highly recommended—we can’t wait to come back!

Staying for 16 days with the family. First week was great bar the meals at dinner. Beach at Hilton was great, the rooms great, location good.
We went half board so we had to eat in a pub type restaurant called speakeasy where people were smoking drinking and playing pool. We attended twice and then stopped. Muslim family and not happy to dine where people watching the football smoking an drinking whilst trying to eat. First time eating the food was bland and we ordered a chicken burger, it was raw so they made another burger but obviously not enjoyable.
Second time the staff put our whole order on someone elses table then after a few minutes took it off their table an put it on ours. (God knows if it was touched or coughed on) We decided we were not going there again. 
Spoke to reception who said we can order room service to our room rather than eat at speakeasy. This was great for a few days but the menu never changed and got boring and eating where we slept was becoming un enjoyable.
We then told housekeeping there was an odd smell in the bathroom so he cleaned the bathroom. Smell was still there all whilst having to eat our food in the room. We then complained and they came to fix the smell as it was getting worse. He came and sprayed something in the floor vent. At 2am a few days later we heard a bang and water grushing, it came from a boiler room so we called reception and they sent someone out, he turned the water off but hadnt said so, so in the morning both rooms had no water so we could not take showers and we missed breakfast as they came to fix the issue whilst we waited (no offer of room change either). Tried to go to the hilton beach as had for past 9 days and they said its now chargable, nobody informed us of this change and they said they only just found out but then this should have been stated on arrival that its not normality and can change any day instead just go and take a towel and go to the public beach on the sand as theres no beds! 
Pool bar not open so you have to order from the lifeguard who calls room service and waiting to get a drink of water in the heat, which is not sign posted so you would not know. You just think the pool bar is closed as its shutter down.
So thankful for Shaban an his team who truly looked after us with food and we attended his restaurant on the 2 days it was allowed to open, apart from that the food was not good. Highly recommend Shaban so professional caring sympathetic and respectful to our needs. He needs a promotion and pay rise as he goes above and beyond for the care of visitors! 
On day of leaving we went to get a quick lunch at jones grocery and the lady said i have to check if you missed any meals to see if your eligible to eat! We said we have missed a few so its fine, had us waiting a while which became ridiculous and embarrassing so we just left. 
Met with guest relations and didnt get any sympathy or an apology for the inconveniences caused which led me to make this complaint. I totally understand the situation in Dubai with closures and staffing as i am a frequent visitor but i do not feel we were completely not respected not taken care of correctly and my children did not have a good time at the hotel. 
Unfortunately i feel as though i would not stay here again.

Booked an apartment, it was more like a studio. If you don't stay somewhere nice in Dubai, you won't enjoy yourself properly; only with good accommodation can you truly experience the beauty of Dubai! 😁 The room was very spacious, with one bedroom, a living room, and two bathrooms. The sofa was a sofa bed, which my daughter treated like a trampoline. The room also came with a full kitchen setup.

The hotel's pool is outsourced, and the staff's attitude was so-so... The view was average, and the area was quite small. Coming straight from the Ritz-Carlton, the Sheraton's pool left me a bit disappointed... The water was a bit cold, and we left within half an hour. Hotels in Dubai don't provide disposable bathtub liners, which honestly could be a new business opportunity, haha~
