This hotel is located in the heart of Lujiazui, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining out, and ordering takeout. The room facilities are complete and in excellent condition, and the cleaning service was meticulous and thoughtful. The cleaning staff even noticed I enjoy tea and asked about my preferred tea bags and if I needed extra bottled water. The breakfast offers a wide variety of both Western and Chinese options, truly exceptional. They even have both red and white fermented bean curd! There are also live cooking stations for congee, noodles, and eggs, putting it at a top-tier level both domestically and internationally.

The hotel's location is excellent, right by Jing An Kerry Centre. It's incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and everything else. The service is also top-notch; everyone from the front desk staff to the housekeepers is really enthusiastic. They even noticed we like tea and left plenty of bottled water in our room. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai.

This is our second stay at the Shangri-La Qiantan, and we love it! The environment is fantastic, and it offers great value for money. It's conveniently located right across from Qiantan Taikoo Li and very close to the metro station, making it super easy to get around. It's also incredibly kid-friendly! Our little one even got a small balloon upon check-in and absolutely loved it ❤️ The housekeeper on the 22nd floor is especially warm and welcoming! She always greets our child with such enthusiasm whenever we see her 🙋‍♀️ Highly recommend!

On my recent business trip to Shanghai, I chose the Hongqiao Shangri-La Hotel, and my stay completely exceeded expectations, especially regarding its prime location and the exceptional service at the Horizon Club Lounge. It truly deserves high praise!

What impressed me even more was the service at the Horizon Club Lounge. The staff's warmth and attentiveness genuinely made me feel valued. Upon check-in, a Horizon Club staff member proactively approached me and patiently explained all the club lounge benefits, such as the timings for breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour. Special mention goes to Crystal and Jojo from the Horizon Club, and Dave from Concierge, who were incredibly patient in guiding me, providing directions for taxi stands and advising on the best drop-off points for my return.

This stay, the Hongqiao Shangri-La Hotel's superb location truly alleviated my travel concerns, and the warm service from the Horizon Club Lounge staff made my business trip much more pleasant. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the Shanghai Hongqiao area!

I'm a bit confused. Do I have to pay extra just to chat with the Concierge in the Club Lounge? I saw that arrogant manager circling my table during dinner, greeting everyone else but completely ignoring me. It's truly a real-life portrayal of 'Hello Mr. Billionaire' – art always originates from life, but life is even more spectacular. To be fair, the environment and location are decent. However, when I stayed at a regular chain hotel across the street, I left my luggage at the front desk, and the bellhop saw I had medication and immediately put it in the fridge for me – that truly touched me. Also, in this day and age, do hotels still require a deposit? They said it's in case a guest smokes in the room and gets fined. Seriously, at such an expensive hotel, are they so distrustful of their guests' character? The management is incredibly chaotic; asking a simple question takes forever to get a clear answer, everyone says something different, and they say one thing but do another.

Stepping into a 'Chinese Aesthetic Utopia'! My stay at Shangri-La Beijing was a flawless experience, from the heartwarming service to the culinary feast, I was completely captivated.

First, a huge shout-out to Ms. Yuan Xiaofan at the front desk! As soon as I arrived, I was impressed by her professionalism and thoughtfulness. She remembered my accommodation preferences and even sent welcome fruits, which truly warmed my heart. Later, when I wanted to extend my check-out time, she quickly and efficiently arranged it. Her smile was always gentle and appropriate, never overly enthusiastic or pushy, just the right amount of attentiveness that instantly dispelled any initial unfamiliarity and made a fantastic first impression.

And the room was full of delightful surprises! As a clean freak, the first thing I do is check the cleanliness – the bedding was spotless and odorless, no dust in the corners, the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the vanity was pristine, not even a single water mark on the mirror. A detail-oriented person's dream come true! The decor blended contemporary design with an Asian flair, adorned with exquisite artwork. The warm yellow lighting on the wooden furniture, coupled with the garden view outside the window, created an elegant and cozy ambiance. What really touched me was the bedside fragrance, which was consistent with the lobby's iconic scent – fresh and not overpowering. Paired with the soft bedding, I enjoyed a wonderful night's sleep until dawn.

The New Year's Day festive atmosphere was simply fantastic! From the hotel entrance to the lobby, carefully arranged New Year's Day flower baskets were everywhere. The red and gold flowers, adorned with pine branches and lanterns, exuded both traditional Chinese festivity and the sophistication of a high-end hotel. You didn't even need to find the perfect angle for photos; every snap turned out to be a New Year masterpiece. Especially the giant flower basket in the center of the lobby, a perfect fusion of traditional aesthetics and festive cheer, making you feel the rich New Year's spirit and sense of occasion the moment you walked in.

The dining experience was truly god-tier! The fruitwood roasted duck at Shang Palace is a must-try; the skin was so crispy you could hear it crackle when you bit into it. Wrapped in a thin pancake with sweet bean sauce, the rich aroma of the fat mixed with the fruitwood flavor was incredibly satisfying. The crispy garlic chicken had a golden, crispy skin and incredibly tender, juicy meat inside, with a rich garlic flavor that wasn't greasy. The buffet restaurant offered an even wider selection – unlimited fresh and springy lobsters, beautifully marbled Japanese sashimi, and creamy Italian Robella ice cream, each bite a moment of pure happiness. The dining environment was also superb; the carved partitions in Shang Palace paired with warm lighting created a classic Chinese ambiance that naturally encouraged you to slow down and savor the moment. The sense of ceremony was absolutely perfect.

As a well-established five-star hotel, Shangri-La Beijing's quality never disappoints – clean and comfortable rooms, a wonderfully festive atmosphere, a feast for the taste buds, and the heartwarming service from Ms. Yuan Xiaofan, all made this New Year's trip an unforgettable memory.

To celebrate my wife's birthday, I specifically chose the China World Summit Wing, Beijing, the city's tallest hotel. It's located right above the north wing of the China World Mall. The lobby is on the 64th floor, and the downstairs concierge verified our check-in information and helped us with the key card. The lobby is quite unique; due to ceiling height limitations, it feels more like a lounge and wasn't too crowded. Check-in was quick. After learning it was my wife's birthday, they proactively offered a complimentary cake, flowers, and red wine – excellent service! The room layout was very well-designed, with the large bed facing a floor-to-ceiling window, offering a great view. The bathtub was spacious, perfect for relaxing. From 5-7 PM, the Atmosphere Bar on the 80th floor (the highest floor) had a great vibe, perfect for a drink while listening to live music. Breakfast is on the 79th floor, a hybrid of à la carte and buffet. The à la carte dishes were beautifully presented, though the taste didn't quite live up to the presentation, so there's room for improvement there. We even encountered a security team for a certain country's leader 🤫, which speaks to the appeal of the China World Summit Wing. Plus, staying on a weekend gets you free parking for one car, saving a whopping 300 RMB! All in all, highly recommended!

Shangri-La never disappoints, and this stay was no exception; I was once again impressed by the attention to detail. The design and ambiance: The iconic garden elements create a serene and warm Eastern aesthetic. The lobby's garden and unique fragrance are very tastefully done. Room experience: The room layout is well-planned and exquisitely minimalist. The mattress and pillows offer excellent support, ensuring a high-quality sleep. The shower pressure is strong, and the water heats up quickly. I particularly loved the tea and tea set in the room, which added a touch of ceremony. The afternoon tea was very refined and delicious. The view outside the window was beautiful. All aspects, from dining to accommodation to transportation, were convenient and elegant.

Good overall, and very convenient as it's close to the border crossing.

Facilities: The facilities are a bit old, and there are very few power outlets, which was quite inconvenient. Otherwise, it has the standard amenities you'd expect from a five-star hotel.

Hygiene: Generally, the hygiene was good, but the bottom of the shower curtain had some mold. For a five-star hotel, shower curtains should really be disinfected and cleaned after each use.

Ambiance: The environment is great, close to the border crossing, quiet and peaceful.

Service: The service was very good.

This was my first time staying at a Shangri-La hotel, and honestly, it wasn't as good as I'd imagined. The complimentary water in the room was Ice Dew, and there were only two bottles. That's incredibly stingy. For a five-star brand hotel, you'd expect at least Nongfu Spring or Wahaha. They're cutting costs to the point of no return. The last time I encountered Ice Dew in a five-star hotel was at the Gran Meliá Xi'an, about seven or eight years ago.

I also tried the hotel's spa, and the price definitely didn't match the service. The woman at the front desk was also the masseuse, and frankly, her technique was very unprofessional. I ended the session early because of it. I would absolutely never choose it again. A good spa should add value and reputation to a hotel's brand. This one felt like it was outsourced. I'm guessing they charge too much for rent, and without making a profit, they just end up trying to fleece guests. I definitely won't choose it again.

Fantastic room with a view: We stayed in a Deluxe Room, and the 43-square-meter space had a modern design. The absolute highlight was the 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Shenzhen Bay. The sunset in the evening was especially romantic.

Abundant dining options: The hotel boasts 4 restaurants and bars. We had breakfast at the all-day dining restaurant on the 66th floor, which offered a wide variety of choices, including fresh coconuts. The high-altitude lobby lounge is a great spot for afternoon tea and scenic views.

Excellent wellness facilities: The gym is well-equipped and offers fantastic views. The indoor heated pool is a popular photo spot, with its 'giant moon' decoration in the water perfect for pictures.

Convenient location: The hotel has direct access to the RAIL IN shopping mall, and it's just a few minutes' walk to Hongshuwan South Metro Station, making travel and shopping incredibly convenient.

Overall, this was a perfect stay. Shangri-La Nanshan not only impressed us with its stylish design and facilities but also captured our hearts with the warm and proactive service provided by excellent staff like Lydia. We will definitely choose to stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.
