This hotel boasts an excellent location on the Huangpu River, right in the heart of the city, with a direct view of the Oriental Pearl Tower. You can step downstairs and walk along the river, enjoying fantastic views of both the river and the city skyline. I booked a river-view room in the Purple Gold Tower, and the kind gentleman at the front desk even upgraded me to a river-view suite – it was absolutely stunning! The Bund and Huangpu River across the way are beautiful both day and night. The value for money here is exceptional. Even the complimentary Evian mineral water for tea was a nice touch. You can easily walk to the Huangpu River and iconic landmarks right from the hotel. The executive lounge's breakfast and dinner were exquisite and delicious, and the drinks were great too, all while enjoying amazing views. I stayed for three nights and had a wonderful trip. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance.

The room was incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches like wireless charging and heated towel rails in the bathroom. The small stool at the vanity was also a really nice, human-centered design detail. The service, however, was truly exceptional. From the friendly chat at the front desk during check-in to the attentive care our child received from the waitstaff in the restaurant, our first impression was absolutely perfect. A special shout-out to a lovely waitress with glasses who brought us a variety of fruits, desserts, and special drinks while we waited for our included lunch, and even prepared sweet treats, biscuits, and candy for our little one – a real emotional value boost! The hotel's location is also superb; stepping out the door and crossing the street brings you right to Taikoo Li, perfect for both shopping and dining. Next time I'm in Pudong, Qianjiang Shangri-La will definitely be my first choice!

The decor is definitely dated, but I have to commend Trip.com and the hotel for their understanding and assistance when we encountered an unexpected situation. When I booked, my flight was confirmed, so I reserved a non-cancellable night at this hotel through Trip.com. However, my flight was suddenly canceled, and I couldn't return home. I asked a friend to contact them about canceling, and both Trip.com and the hotel were understanding and helped with the cancellation. So, upon returning home, I decisively rebooked this hotel.

The hotel's view is still very beautiful, especially at night, but I was really looking forward to the breakfast, which was a bit disappointing.

After a whole day of international flights landing at Shanghai Pudong, choosing to stay at the Hongqiao Airport Shangri-La was absolutely the right decision!!!!

1️⃣ Hotel pick-up service: The hotel concierge greets you with a name card, and once you're met, you don't have to lift a finger! They help with luggage, guide you, and handle everything, so you don't have to worry at all!! It also prevents the awkward situation of not finding your driver after leaving the airport!! Once in the car, they'll tell you the estimated arrival time and adjust the air conditioning to a comfortable temperature for you to relax.💕

2️⃣ Check-in process: Since we are international students returning home with a lot of luggage, the concierge was already waiting at the parking area before check-in, asking which bags needed to be stored and which should be sent to the room. Someone also guided us through the check-in process!! (Check-in is on the 12th floor~)

3️⃣ Stay experience: Watching planes take off and land! It's truly amazing and magical! The most crucial thing is!!! The soundproofing is incredibly good! The bathroom floor even has underfloor heating! All the main controls are by the bedside, avoiding tedious operations like getting out of bed to turn off lights before sleeping! It's truly a hotel perfect for relaxation!

4️⃣ Breakfast experience: The staff will give you an extra menu~ It has recommended dishes! We tried the wontons and noodles (after eating so much foreign food, you really miss this taste! 🥹). It felt like home~

5️⃣ Check-out + transfer to high-speed rail station: ‼️‼️‼️ Key point!! Hongqiao Airport Shangri-La Hotel is connected to both the airport and the high-speed rail station!! We had six suitcases between the two of us! The concierge pushed the luggage cart (detail: the concierge even brought his ID to help us enter the station!) and escorted us all the way into the station~

❤️ Summary: You really can't imagine how easy and convenient traveling can be until you experience a stay at the Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Shangri-La.

China world hotel has exceeded my expectation so I have extended our stay for a second day! The room is beautiful, great view to Chang’an Road; food and service in breakfast and lounge are impressive. Reception personnel has made us feel like home. House keeping lady, Ms Zhang on our floor (19th flr. Horizon club) is super attentive. It’s my first time to stay in a shangri-la hotel. I’m very impressed  I’ve stayed many big brand 5-star hotels. After this experience, I would try more Shangri La hotels. And next time in Beijing I’ll stay in China world hotel again

Every spring when I return to Beijing, I love staying at the Shangri-La. The hotel's garden beautifully blends traditional Beijing features with a lovely Western-style lawn. In springtime, sitting in the lobby lounge, you can enjoy the view of the willow trees in the large garden outside the window – it's incredibly relaxing. Hanna at the front desk was also exceptionally warm and welcoming. As a member, I got upgraded to a garden-view room, so I could practice Baduanjin in the morning right from my room, overlooking the garden. It's an established hotel, and everything from the breakfast and location to the ambiance and facilities is excellent. I also tried the dinner buffet and the Chinese restaurant on the second floor, both of which were great.

The hotel facilities are great, and it's super convenient for shopping at China World Mall. The breakfast buffet is extensive, and you can even order à la carte. The service is excellent. They even had a lion dance performance on ***** New Year's Day! The vanity area in the room is fantastic, and having two wardrobes is a big plus!

The Shangri-La at Shougang Park is relatively new, and the hygiene is absolutely top-notch – spotless! Even the linens and amenities are high quality, so no worries about cleanliness when traveling with kids. A big shout-out to the front desk and security staff; check-in was super quick, and they even interacted with our child, helped us take photos, and delivered our luggage. They were very nice.

However, I have to be honest, the Shangri-La themed room wasn't really worth it. There were hardly any toys, and the only projector was broken and wouldn't turn on even when charged. Kids' toiletries weren't prepared in advance either; we had to ask for them. The room size was also the same as a standard room. My biggest complaint is the safe; it's directly above the luggage rack, at exactly head height. If you're packing your suitcase and look up, you're guaranteed to hit your head. I got quite a bump and was in a lot of pain. The hotel even 'thoughtfully' added corner protectors, which tells me I'm probably not the only one who's bumped their head. Why can't they put it in a different spot?

Location was excellent, only a min walk to MTR train station. 

Near by have fast food restaurant. 

Hotel was a bit old fashion, but in Shenzhen Lu Wu , it’s acceptable. 

It’s rare , I paid in full at trip. Com and hotel charge me again + guarantee CNY $500 .

We chose this hotel mainly because of its excellent central location in Fuzhou, as well as the facilities, which looked very appealing in the photos—and they really lived up to our expectations.
We enjoy swimming, and the hotel has a large pool with proper lanes, which was exactly as advertised. The water temperature was very comfortable at around 28–29°C. The fitness area is also extremely well equipped. For longer stays, this hotel is especially suitable, as you can easily spend time being active without leaving the property.
Overall, it’s a very solid hotel that offers all the expected services. The interior design is a bit traditional or slightly outdated, but everything was very clean. It’s not a modern design highlight, but in terms of amenities and overall value for money, it’s really good.
One small tip: there is a bar around the corner that belongs to the Shangri-La. However, we found the prices quite excessive, and the atmosphere felt a bit overly “hip.” The service there didn’t feel very welcoming to us, and we weren’t entirely comfortable with the vibe. Depending on your preferences, you might want to look for a different bar.
All in all, we would definitely recommend this hotel.

## Shenzhen High-Rise Luxury: Shangri-La Nanshan Truly Exceeded Expectations!

As a newly opened flagship property, it brings the Lingnan artistic concept of 'Hundred Birds Returning Home' into the clouds of a skyscraper. The 66th-floor lobby bar offers stunning sunset views, and the 'Collection 66' all-day dining restaurant has a rich breakfast selection, including fresh squeezed juices. The guest rooms come equipped with Dyson hairdryers and a super convenient smart home control system throughout, plus excellent soundproofing.

On the 77th floor, the 'Moon Rising from the Sea' heated swimming pool has an amazing ambiance when the lights come on at night. The 24-hour gym features brand new equipment and boasts a first-class view.

Front desk service from Vivian was incredibly warm. The staff were all friendly, responsive, thoughtful, and meticulous, truly treating guests with heart. This is a benchmark for high-end hotel service; I'll definitely choose this place again next time!
