This was our first 'trip' with the baby, so we opted for the reliable Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai. On my birthday, I'd like to thank the House Director Sean and Lynn for their assistance in upgrading us to the Zijin Club floor on the 31st. 

The in-room facilities and views were truly exceptional, absolutely top-notch. They even thoughtfully helped us book a table at Jade on 36, and the service was incredibly attentive. 

Our little one had a wonderful time playing in the room, and we were very satisfied with both the river view outside the window and the thoughtful room decor. Boats slowly drifted by on the Huangpu River, and the Bund's architecture across the bank looked even more dazzling at night. We will definitely choose Pudong Shangri-La, East Shanghai again for our next visit.

I brought my elderly parents to Shanghai Huashan Hospital for medical treatment, and we were using a wheelchair the whole time, so we chose the Shangri-La nearby. The hotel upgraded our room for free, and I'd like to thank the hotel staff, including Zhu Zili, Niki, June, Jessica, and Chloe. A special thanks goes to the 43rd-floor manager and the housekeeping staff for their tremendous help. The hotel's cleanliness, environment, and breakfast were all excellent, making our stay very comfortable.

Upon check-in, the front desk upgraded my room, and the view from this corner room was indeed excellent. However, after adjusting the handheld showerhead, the water flow was still too strong and the spray area too small. I suggest considering an optimization or replacement. After checking out, the hotel's lost and found department promptly contacted me about a book and electronic device I left in the room, and they were quickly mailed back. I'm very grateful. For my next business trip, I'll still prefer to choose the Shangri-La Qiantan.

Staying at the Shangri-La Hotel, Hongqiao Airport, truly redefined my perception of an airport hotel. It's not just a convenient stopover for catching a flight, but a refined haven worth experiencing in its own right.

The hotel excels in convenience: From Hongqiao Terminal 2 Arrivals, you can follow the signs and walk directly to the lobby through an air-conditioned corridor, without ever needing to go outside. This is especially convenient for travelers with heavy luggage.

The environment was the most pleasant surprise. I was initially worried about airplane noise, but the room's soundproofing was beyond impressive. Watching planes take off and land from the tarmac outside my window, I felt a sense of tranquility, completely isolated from any hustle and bustle. As a fully Horizon Club-equipped hotel, I enjoyed coffee and a light meal in the lounge in the afternoon, watching the flight information screen – it was both reassuring and relaxing.

The room design incorporates elegant Old Shanghai elements, with meticulous attention to detail. The toiletries and bedding maintain Shangri-La's consistently high standards. Breakfast deserves special praise; in addition to the standard buffet, there are à la carte options like Eggs Benedict, meat patties, soy milk, and fried dough sticks. The waitstaff thoughtfully reminded us of the dining times. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was genuinely smiling and promptly responsive. A special shout-out to Charlene, who was warm, attentive, and always happy to help!

In summary, whether for business or a romantic getaway, this hotel delivers a delightful experience that exceeds expectations. The next time I fly through Hongqiao, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

This five-star hotel truly delivers on luxury, and the experience was superb. The location deserves a special mention – it's incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. Being within walking distance of Metro Lines 1 and 10 makes getting around effortless. Step out of the hotel, turn left, and in just 50 meters, you're at a shopping mall with so many shopping and dining options, it's hard to choose! All your retail and food needs are easily met.

The room itself was a pleasant surprise; it's incredibly spacious, bright, and well-lit. The floor-to-ceiling window offers an amazing view, and relaxing there while taking in the scenery was wonderfully comfortable. The amenities are comprehensive, and the pillows and mattress are a perfect 10 for comfort – I slept soundly straight through till morning, feeling completely refreshed.

Breakfast is also worth highlighting, with a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options. There are so many choices, ensuring a satisfying start to each day.

The staff were consistently warm and polite, always thinking of the guests' needs. Their attentive service truly deserves a huge thumbs-up!

I had such a delightful stay these past few days; I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit!

I visited Beijing on a business trip in June and chose to stay at the Shangri-La Beijing. The biggest surprise of my entire trip was the front desk agent, Gaogao – she deserves a special shout-out! 

It was the height of summer in June when I arrived, lugging my suitcase and sweating profusely. Gaogao greeted me with a constant smile, showing no hint of perfunctoriness. She efficiently handled my check-in, proactively informed me about the location of the elevators, pool, and restaurants. When she learned I planned to visit nearby attractions the next day, she meticulously marked out routes for me and even shared some great photo spots in the hotel's back garden. Her attention to detail was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming.

The hotel environment is absolutely stunning. It’s a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, boasting its own Chinese-style garden with lush greenery that's perfect for photos. The room had plenty of natural light, was spotlessly clean, and the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm. After a long day, lying down instantly felt relaxing. The mini-bar was fully stocked. The dining was excellent; both the breakfast buffet and the Shang Palace Chinese restaurant offered delicious food, and the staff were consistently polite and attentive.

As a five-star hotel, the hardware itself is already outstanding, but Gaogao's gentle, patient, and empathetic service was a huge bonus. It truly alleviated my travel fatigue and made the entire experience fantastic. I was extremely satisfied with this stay in June 2026 (sic - assumes a typo, translating as June this year, but kept the original '2026' as requested by example); I've already recommended it to friends, and Beijing Shangri-La will definitely be my first choice next time I'm in Beijing. A big thank you again to Gaogao for her wonderful service!

Overall, it met expectations. I had two separate bookings, one for a 'CCTV view' room and one for a regular view. The front desk lady kindly allowed me to stay in the CCTV view room for all three nights so I wouldn't have to switch rooms in between – much appreciated! 🙏

The room's cleanliness was good, and the bathtub was huge, though I didn't have time to enjoy it. There were just two minor downsides: first, the room didn't have any wine glasses (I suppose the hotel would say I could just call room service), and second, the breakfast selection seemed a bit limited. The à la carte options (I tried the congee, udon, and egg & ham sandwich over my three-night stay) were small portions and quite mediocre in taste.

However, the hotel allowing all guests to use the 80th-floor lounge from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM was a really nice touch.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The lobby is designed like a beautiful garden, complete with fish and birds, and there's even a children's playground out back. The dining tables are nestled among plants, creating a tranquil yet inviting atmosphere. They even have handmade pizza! Upon check-in, we received complimentary coffee, and the latte was delicious. The staff are incredibly professional and attentive. When my period unexpectedly started, a staff member quickly brought me sanitary pads. The king-size bed in our room was enormous, and there's a direct drinking water tap. The breakfast spread is abundant and especially great for kids, with a dedicated children's food station. There's a good selection of Western-style breakfast options.

The staff were friendly and helpful, check in was a breeze. Lovely atmosphere in the lobby, room was huge and spotless clean with an amazing view. The 360 bar is well worth a visit, it's got a spectacular view and they make great cocktails. Lovely pool and gym too, it's an amazing retreat in Louhu and it's so close to the border, which makes it such a worthwhile place to visit. Also, there were 5 different types of teabags to choose from in the room, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast buffet really surprised me with bacon, sausages and egges, which was amazing, but there's also Chinese food and vegetarian so it's a great buffet. Definitely want to go back!

Environment: Noise-free. The buffet food is distinctive. Lobby features at a glance:

1. Overall style: Modern light luxury blended with classical Chinese elegance, featuring a high vaulted ceiling that creates an open and grand space.

2. Signature lighting: A multi-layered, giant crystal chandelier descends, serving as the lobby's most striking design element.

3. Decor details: Wine-red carpets, Chinese circular landscape bas-reliefs, and tall marble columns, complemented by comfortable sofa seating areas.

4. Lighting design: Large floor-to-ceiling windows provide ample natural light and expansive views.

The hotel is quite new, and the decor feels premium (white stone with dark green accents).

All rooms are located on the 66th floor and above, offering unobstructed views and a well-thought-out layout. The curtains and lights are all button-controlled and motorized. The mini-bar is well-stocked with a good variety of drinks. Please refer to the pictures for more details.

The swimming pool and gym are on the 77th floor, also providing expansive views. The pool area includes a vitality pool, sauna, lounge chairs, and a dryer. Towels, slippers, and the changing rooms were all very clean.

Breakfast was excellent and varied. You can even choose your own ingredients for congee and noodles, and everything was promptly refilled.

The service was very responsive. On my first night, I heard rain hitting the exterior wall of my room. Even though it was quite late when I checked in, the hotel promptly sent someone to check and offered to move me to another room.

I also asked if it was possible to order a cake that day, but it was already too late in the morning to place an order. Even though I said it was fine and I could just order takeout, the hotel still provided a small complimentary cake with a 'Happy Birthday' plaque. Furthermore, the concierge noticed that the cake I ordered needed refrigeration, so instead of leaving it downstairs for me to pick up, they delivered it directly to my room.

Overall, it was a very comfortable stay.
