The room was very comfortable and cozy, clean, and the service was attentive! Our room faced the Bund, so we could enjoy a panoramic view right from the bed. The Bund at night was absolutely captivating!

The hotel's afternoon tea was also a highlight. The pastries were sweet, the fruit fresh, and the salmon sandwiches and tuna mini-burgers were especially delicious. They could even customize coffee to guests' preferences and offered a variety of freshly squeezed juices and drinks for guests to enjoy freely! The afternoon tea was truly delightful!

The hotel's breakfast was equally impressive, not only featuring items from the afternoon tea but also Chinese options like steamed buns, fried dough sticks, steamed yams and sweet potatoes, and various stir-fried dishes. They would also pan-fry salmon upon request, which was wonderfully fragrant and tender!

Check-in and check-out at the front desk were efficient and convenient, and the service attitude was excellent! They even gave me a gift when I checked out, which I really appreciated! Many thanks to Ashley and the other front desk staff for their warm service!

Jingan Shangri-la is amazing and a must stay in Shanghai. We've experienced excellent service from every hotel staff member we came across with. There was a night when we were majorly disturbed by another room and hotel Manager Parry called us the next day to offer us a complimentary change and upgrade of room for our last night. This was truly good follow-up from the night before and its highly commendable. Rooms itself had gorgeous views and were very clean. High tea and happy hour at the Horizon Lounge far exceeded our expectations with huge options and extremely delicious canapes, small dishes and drinks. The breakfast spread was also really loved by our kids as there was an ice cream bar with lots of ice cream options. We will be back, thank you!

Direct access to the Qiantan Taikoo Li via an elevated walkway means you don't have to go outside in the rain for shopping, movies, or dining – a exclusive convenience for hotel guests. It's a 3-minute walk to Dongfang Sports Center Station (Lines 6/8/11), offering a direct half-hour ride to Lujiazui, The Bund, and the Expo Park. For those driving, there's ample free parking. With a dense concentration of commercial centers, concert venues, and office buildings nearby, it's a top choice for business trips, concerts, and weekend city walks.

The hotel boasts a 20-meter heated infinity pool with a starry sky ceiling, where you can swim and enjoy river views, along with a massage hot tub. There's also a 24-hour large gym equipped with a full set of Technogym machines.

The concierge, housekeeping, and front desk are all very responsive, and check-in/check-out is efficient. They are accommodating with luggage delivery and late check-out requests, maintaining Shangri-La's gentle and meticulous brand ethos.

Ms. Sarah at check-in was very professional and provided service with a constant smile.

The minibar offers poor value for money: almost all drinks and snacks are charged, and the number of complimentary beverages is quite limited, putting it at a disadvantage compared to other five-star hotels in the same price range.

The gym is a large open space with no partitions, lacking privacy. During peak hours, you often have to wait for equipment.

Food delivery cannot be brought to the room; guests need to go down to the lobby to pick it up, which is inconvenient for those who prefer not to leave their room.

The welcome fruit and amenities for basic room types are fairly standard, with no additional gifts for lower-tier members.

During holidays, the lobby and breakfast area get very crowded, and window seats with views require waiting.

Staying at the Shangri-La Hotel, Hongqiao Airport, truly redefined my perception of an airport hotel. It's not just a convenient stopover for catching a flight, but a refined haven worth experiencing in its own right.

The hotel excels in convenience: From Hongqiao Terminal 2 Arrivals, you can follow the signs and walk directly to the lobby through an air-conditioned corridor, without ever needing to go outside. This is especially convenient for travelers with heavy luggage.

The environment was the most pleasant surprise. I was initially worried about airplane noise, but the room's soundproofing was beyond impressive. Watching planes take off and land from the tarmac outside my window, I felt a sense of tranquility, completely isolated from any hustle and bustle. As a fully Horizon Club-equipped hotel, I enjoyed coffee and a light meal in the lounge in the afternoon, watching the flight information screen – it was both reassuring and relaxing.

The room design incorporates elegant Old Shanghai elements, with meticulous attention to detail. The toiletries and bedding maintain Shangri-La's consistently high standards. Breakfast deserves special praise; in addition to the standard buffet, there are à la carte options like Eggs Benedict, meat patties, soy milk, and fried dough sticks. The waitstaff thoughtfully reminded us of the dining times. From check-in to check-out, every staff member was genuinely smiling and promptly responsive. A special shout-out to Charlene, who was warm, attentive, and always happy to help!

In summary, whether for business or a romantic getaway, this hotel delivers a delightful experience that exceeds expectations. The next time I fly through Hongqiao, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

This old five-star hotel is still well-maintained, but this time, during the May Day holiday, there were so many guests that even the Executive Lounge was packed. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner were all swamped, which really impacted the stay experience. Also, the food at the Executive Lounge was genuinely subpar, especially the afternoon tea, which has dropped several levels compared to before. The happy hour offerings were also just so-so, with no substantial dishes. We booked a suite this time, and the view was fantastic. I was very pleased with the large fruit platter.

The hotel service, as always, was professional and meticulous. The staff were patient, thoughtful, and enthusiastic. Even before check-in, the hotel departments noticed from the booking that there would be children staying, so they decorated the room in a child-friendly way early on, with all sorts of children's amenities readily available, and even bananas among the welcome fruit, which kids love. Both during check-in and check-out, we encountered Miss Sun Yue. She's an excellent employee who can consider issues from the customer's perspective, quickly come up with solutions, and resolve problems efficiently. Although this stay was very satisfying, there's one detail I hope the hotel management pays attention to. There's a sign at the entrance of the executive lounge clearly stating that guests in inappropriate attire or disposable slippers are not allowed. However, during afternoon tea and breakfast, a few guests who disregarded this rule still entered, which certainly affected other guests and made the sign seem pointless.

This is an absolutely grand old five-star hotel. Even though it's been around for a while, it's very well-maintained, and the feeling of being up in the clouds is wonderful. The lady at the front desk who checked us in was beautiful, her service was warm, and she worked very efficiently. I forgot to check her name tag, but she deserves a commendation. I specifically went for my birthday, and the hotel specially decorated the room and even sent a birthday cake. This made for a truly pleasant birthday, and I thank the hotel. If I had to nitpick, the room window was a bit dirty, making photos unclear. Also, the toilet was a semi-automatic smart toilet, requiring me to bend down to manually flush it. This time, I also happened to catch the hotel cleaning the pool, so I couldn't swim, which was a bit of a shame.

This is our third stay at this hotel within just six months, and whether we're here by ourselves or with friends and family, the experience has been consistently excellent. Here's why:

Firstly, the hotel's environment, hygiene, and facilities are all top-notch – clean and comfortable.
Secondly, the service is outstanding, and I especially want to commend the front desk staff. From check-in to check-out, they always make us feel right at home. The service is never overbearing, yet always genuine and incredibly warm. We always bring our children, and they absolutely love Shangri-La Shougang Park, which is a major reason why we keep coming back. As repeat guests, the hotel takes increasingly good care of us, and it's slowly started to feel like 'home' – that growing sense of familiarity is truly wonderful.

Moreover, the parking attendant is also very thoughtful. Every time we drive into the parking lot, he greets us with a 'Welcome back,' which is a lovely touch that warms our hearts.

Let me share something that particularly moved us: Yesterday, while taking our children to the pool, a little girl and her brother were unsupervised, and the brother started to drown. The lifeguard was incredibly responsible and attentive; he rescued the child immediately and then patiently emphasized the importance of safety. Frankly, many hotel lifeguards just sit there, but we've seen this particular lifeguard twice, and each time he's been very strict about the swimming cap requirement. His actions this time were exceptionally professional and timely, further enhancing our positive impression of the hotel.

Each visit to Shangri-La offers a unique yet consistently excellent experience – it truly feels new and refreshing every time. We hope Shangri-La continues to thrive, and we will definitely be back again soon, probably very soon!

The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was very cozy, and the room had a relaxing atmosphere. Housekeeping did a great job every day, and the amenities were convenient and modern. The location was also excellent, making it easy to get around. Focusing on enhancing soft service skills is what truly attracts consumers, and I felt this deeply during my stay. From the efficient handling by Front Desk Manager Zhang Zhiying, to the warm concern of the duty manager, the female manager with the code 066FOLIYA on my checkout bill (didn't catch her name), the staff at the buffet restaurant, the reception at the business center, and the guidance from the housekeeping staff... many details confirmed my impression: the Shangri-La brand still strives for true five-star hotel standards, and I highly commend them.

This was my first stay at the Shangri-La Shenzhen Nanshan, and it far exceeded my expectations – I absolutely have to leave a positive review.

A special thank you to Wendy from Guest Relations for arranging the birthday decorations. I had only planned for a simple dinner and an overnight stay, but they truly went above and beyond. The room was decorated so warmly, and my friend absolutely loved the hand-drawn birthday card! The small cake was delicious too. These little details really made a lasting impression.

Regarding the service: From the friendly greeting by the front desk lady during check-in to the doorman actively helping with luggage at check-out, every single step was impeccable. You can truly feel that the staff genuinely cares for the guests, rather than just mechanically going through the motions. Before we left, it started raining heavily, and Wendy from the Horizon Club Lounge invited us to enjoy afternoon tea before heading out, which was incredibly thoughtful.

Regarding the environment: Being a new hotel, it truly stands out. The design is very strong, and every corner is picture-perfect. The public areas are very quiet, and the soundproofing is excellent, so I had a great night's sleep.

In summary: If you're looking for a stylish place in Shenzhen with great service, perfect for celebrating anniversaries, this hotel is an excellent choice. My friend said it was the happiest birthday she's ever had, and that's all that matters.
