Exceeded expectations and absolutely satisfying! 😌💯

Check-in process: Even during the New Year's Day peak season, the service was well-organized, very thoughtful, and attentive. They helped us with our luggage beforehand, check-in was smooth, and they paid attention to our special requests – overall, a seamless experience.

Room facilities: Although it's an older hotel, it's very well-maintained, and the hygiene was incredibly reassuring. After my family used the bathtub, I requested a second disinfection and sterilization, which they kindly arranged with patience.

Beautiful view: We booked the room specifically for the view from the Pujiang building. My son absolutely loved it; he was incredibly happy to see the river view and the Oriental Pearl Tower.

Food and other amenities: The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, with a wide variety of international dishes. The location is excellent, close to the ”three skyscrapers” and the Oriental Pearl Tower, making it exceptionally convenient.

I used to think Shangri-La was too business-oriented, but this time I chose this one specifically for its location, and I was definitely not wrong. It's right downstairs from Kerry Centre, just a few blocks from Jing'an Temple, and very convenient for getting to Nanjing West Road and Taikoo Hui. Before checking in, the hotel proactively asked for my arrival time. I mentioned to the hotel that it was our anniversary, and they sent a bottle of sparkling wine. The housekeeping service was perfect; they basically granted every request. I casually mentioned that the fruit they sent wasn't very fresh, and they immediately replaced it and brought a new plate to the room. When cleaning the room, they also helped organize and neatly arrange our belongings. The turndown service was also excellent. The room facilities are a bit old, but the location more than makes up for it. The night view facing Jing'an Temple is also beautiful, and the ice cream at The Coffee Garden downstairs is delicious. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time; it was a much better experience than the InterContinental Ruijin.

The service here is truly excellent (and I'm not just saying that because I had a bad experience at Grand Hyatt the day before). The public areas had a lovely Christmas vibe. While waiting to check in, the concierge proactively helped with my luggage and escorted me to a seat. At check-in, they spontaneously mentioned they had given me a room on the top floor, which I was quite pleased with. It was actually my birthday, but I hadn't mentioned it. Later, when I sought assistance again, the concierge was very enthusiastic about explaining the hotel facilities and, through our chat, learned it was my birthday. He immediately offered to arrange a cake, but it was a bit late that day, so they sent some fruit instead. The next morning, Guest Relations called to ask if it was convenient, and so I still got to enjoy the cake in the end 😏. As for the room facilities, apart from the phone which I initially didn't understand how to use but later figured out, you can tell it's a relatively new hotel. The charging outlets and flow design are very logical and practical. There's even wireless charging hidden in the bedside table, and multiple charging ports available even without bringing your own plug. The amenities are eco-friendly but quite good. Hygiene was impeccable. The bathrobes came sealed in bags, and there's an ironing board. The only minor point is that the electric toilet makes noise occasionally.

On my recent business trip to Shanghai, I chose the Hongqiao Shangri-La Hotel, and my stay completely exceeded expectations, especially regarding its prime location and the exceptional service at the Horizon Club Lounge. It truly deserves high praise!

What impressed me even more was the service at the Horizon Club Lounge. The staff's warmth and attentiveness genuinely made me feel valued. Upon check-in, a Horizon Club staff member proactively approached me and patiently explained all the club lounge benefits, such as the timings for breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour. Special mention goes to Crystal and Jojo from the Horizon Club, and Dave from Concierge, who were incredibly patient in guiding me, providing directions for taxi stands and advising on the best drop-off points for my return.

This stay, the Hongqiao Shangri-La Hotel's superb location truly alleviated my travel concerns, and the warm service from the Horizon Club Lounge staff made my business trip much more pleasant. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the Shanghai Hongqiao area!

The lobby was bustling with a festive Christmas atmosphere, reminiscent of the vibrant Chinese New Year scene I witnessed at the China Hotel Guangzhou earlier this year. Perhaps, for businesses operated by Hong Kong merchants, popularity truly translates to prosperity.

**Facilities:** The lighting, in particular, had a modern, upwardly mobile feel.
**Hygiene:** Clean and comfortable.
**Environment:** Secluded yet convenient, the guest rooms were very quiet.
**Service:** Thoughtful and efficient.
**Breakfast:** Abundant, though the labels for the condiments could be improved.

Starting and ending with this trip, I celebrated the transition into 2025 in Beijing, under the name of China.

My husband and I always choose an executive room at a hotel in Beijing for our weekend getaways. This time, we picked the executive room at the Shangri-La New Wing.

The moment we opened the door, warm sunlight streamed eagerly through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, like a gentle greeting from time itself, instantly embracing the entire room. This sunlight, with its perfect warmth, dispelled the lingering chill of winter outside, filling every corner of the room with coziness and comfort. Sitting on the sofa by the window, the Third Ring Road city view outside unfolded like an ever-changing painting before our eyes.

As night fell, the view outside transformed into another enchanting scene. The distant TV tower, like a gleaming lighthouse, radiated brilliant light in the night, reflecting the twinkling city lights and forming a captivating urban nightscape.

Enjoying afternoon tea at the Executive Lounge during our stay was the most delightful moment of the day. The lounge staff provided attentive and meticulous service, always with genuine smiles, promptly fulfilling guests' needs.

It's been twenty years since my last visit to the Shangri-La Hotel. Twenty years have flown by like a white stallion galloping past a crack, the city has changed, and my life has changed. More than two decades ago, the warm and comfortable ambiance of the Shangri-La Hotel's lobby made us frequent visitors! Yet, stepping back into this place, that familiar sentiment is still as clear as yesterday, not a single detail forgotten.

This hotel, like a guardian of time, holds so many beautiful memories from my youth. This special affection for Shangri-La will continue to flow through the river of time, becoming an eternal and precious memory in my heart.

We were truly amazed by our stay at this hotel. The staff impressed us from the very beginning — they went above and beyond to fulfill our special requests and treated us with exceptional care and attention. We felt genuinely looked after every moment.

The view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking. The sunrises are magical, peaceful, and unforgettable. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the overall atmosphere felt perfect in every detail.

We were especially touched by the beautiful decorations and thoughtful gifts prepared for my husband’s birthday. We received fresh fruits, a cake, cookies, and many other pleasant surprises. The room was lovingly arranged with roses and special touches that made our stay truly magical.

This hotel exceeded all our expectations, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

Shangri-La Shougang Park, Beijing truly redefines the hotel experience! The industrial-chic design, transformed from an old power plant, is incredibly stylish. The red spiral staircase and steel frameworks are perfect for photos. The public areas are surrounded by lush greenery, like an indoor botanical garden, and the bird installations show amazing attention to detail. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering beautiful views of Shijingshan. The direct drinking water dispenser and large bottles of toiletries are a great eco-friendly touch. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the service is attentive and thoughtful. It's within walking distance of the Olympic Big Air Shougang, and the surrounding amenities are excellent. The stunning blend of industrial grit and natural elegance is truly impressive, making it ideal for both business travelers and leisure guests. The overall experience is top-notch!

The photo shoot with Xuan Ying was also fantastic – very efficient and produced great shots, highly recommended!

We love the location. Itz walking distance to line 9, Renmin-nan & plenty of malls. 
The room was clean and comfortable. AC was auto set ; it does feel a bit warm when we first entered the room. It gets cooler as time goes on.

It's a pleasure to write a review for Shangri-La, and not because the staff asked me to. I still want to thank Manager Xiao Zhou at the front desk. She was very helpful in resolving an issue with our double-booked order. The hotel lobby and restaurant were buzzing with a festive atmosphere, perfect for Christmas and New Year. Breakfast is served until 11 AM on weekends, which is very considerate.

First, the conclusion: a perfect stay!

Now for some things to note: You can park on level B3 to directly access the hotel lobby. Other floors do not connect directly to the hotel; you need to exit on the 1st floor of the adjacent office building and turn left to get there. You might get wet if it's raining.

Service: Attentive and thoughtful butler-style service. Alice contacted us a day before check-in to confirm our needs, specially decorated the room, and even wrote a welcome card by hand.

Facilities: Very new, exquisite workmanship, no rough edges at all – couldn't find any flaws. Plus, the design is user-friendly. The charging cable by the bed is long enough to use while lying on the nearby sofa. The automatic curtains can stop at any position. There's a direct drinking water system, which is eco-friendly! Thumbs up!

Breakfast: A rich variety, featuring fresh coconuts, stewed soups, Yakult, congee, chicken feet, and rice noodle rolls! Thumbs up!!
