Great location! Plenty of markets and cafes nearby. It's a 15-minute walk along the sidewalk to the beach.

Breakfasts are decent, and our room had a balcony which was handy for drying towels. I'd recommend getting a room with a pool view to avoid street noise.

 The pool is large and has sun loungers. They provide two 0.33L bottles of drinking water per person daily, which isn't much (we ended up buying a 5L bottle from the market). 

There wasn't a hairdryer in the room, but we asked for one and it was brought up quickly. 

Overall, for the price, everything was great. I recommend it!

Friendly service, delicious food, and a strategic location. I'll definitely stay here again when I come to Bali. 🙏

The Kayana is an oasis nested in the bustling part of Seminyak. 
The environment inside is a whole other world - rustic and traditional, it definitely fits the foreigners expectation and imagination of Balinese culture. Unfortunately, there is a bar playing EDM nearby and in the still of the night, we can faintly hear it. This turns out to be a minus point for what we had hope for - a truly quiet villa. However, the villa folks can hardly be blamed for this - nothing much they can do when your neighbour is like that. Nevertheless, our sleep wasn’t disturbed by the music (if you can call it that). Everything is clean but aged, so it really depends on your level of acceptance. The staffs are marvellous. From front desk to gardening crew, each and every one of them smiling and courteous. Their service and kindness gave The Kayana branding the biggest plus.

There are plenty of activities to do at the hotel, and you won’t feel bored staying at the hotel all day! The staff greets with a smile and remembers every guest, the hotel breakfast is delicious! Will come again if I have the chance!

Breakfast is worth highlighting too. The variety is solid, with a mix of local Indonesian dishes and international options, making it easy to start your day on a good note.

Overall, Hotel Santika Premiere Hayam Wuruk delivers a reliable, high-quality staycation experience. It’s not trying to be overly flashy—and that’s exactly its strength. It focuses on doing the essentials exceptionally well, which is why it keeps me coming back.

This hotel offers a great lake view and is very comfortable for a stay. The cleanliness is also excellent, and the staff are friendly. The only downside is that the doors aren't very soundproof at night, so you can still hear people walking by. The breakfast spread is also very comprehensive.
