I've stayed here many times, and I always choose First World because it's just so convenient! You can find food and drinks right downstairs. I feel like the bathroom in the room I got this time was renovated, and overall, my stay was quite comfortable! My only wish is that they could improve the check-in system... it's seriously too slow; I had to queue for an hour to check in.

We got the Valley Wing, which is the furthest from lobby. We were told that the unique part is the balcony which we had a good view at level 7 and quiet room since it’s the furthest and towards the end. My child loves the play area at lobby. The waiting time to check-in was long even at 5pm as the rooms are not ready/clean. Thus, the kiosk is not able to assign room when the room is not available for stay. The washroom setup was great, with 2 basins and separate washrooms. The designs are attractive too.

”Although there was a technical issue during check-in and our paid room was fully booked, the hotel staff resolved it professionally. We visit here every month, and our children really enjoy the activities organized by the staff. The restaurant serves incredibly delicious pizza, which we always look forward to having. Please maintain the same great taste, but I hope the restaurant staff can be more attentive to arriving guests and avoid judging customers based on their appearance.”

Very convenient around the genting area as there were underpasses and linkway access to everywhere! It is facing the skyworld outdoor theme park and cable car. Service was fast and efficient too :) Package comes with breakfast.

I had a great stay at Crockfords Genting. The service was excellent, and the staff were professional and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a true luxury feel. The hotel’s atmosphere was calm and elegant, and the location within Resorts World Genting was very convenient. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel service was good, and the facilities were complete. The breakfast selection was limited and the taste was average. The hotel is connected to Wintown, which is very convenient. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Although the view was open, it was often foggy and unclear.

We still rated 5 stars as our stay was great overall. Just wanted to let you know that even though the ”DO NOT DISTRUB” sign was on, my friend saw staff and the manager opening her door room. Nothing was missing. The air conditioner also couldn't be adjusted, but everything else was fine.

Things  i enjoyed:

Clean beach, large pools with playgrounds, friendly staffs. Pools have lifeguards on duty. Huge lobby. Kids fun club is okay. Just that the inflatable playground wasn't very sturdy. 

Cons:

Lack of activities, hallway a big dark at night. One of thhings i wished to do here is atv ride and get a spa massage. But the atv is no longer available. The spas are no longer open. A bit sad. The place have a lot of potential. Went to turtoise information center but no one there. A security staff told us to go to reception for more info but just didn't have enough time to. The place is huge. 

Food is a bit pricey but i guess its okay for 4 or 5 stars hotel. Just that the taste is average.

Stayed at Resorts World Langkawi for 4 nights.

First, the good part — the view is really nice. The sea view from the balcony is beautiful and relaxing. The hotel area is also quiet.

But the room was disappointing.

The room felt old and not well maintained. There was rust in the bathroom, stains on the walls and ceiling, and some damaged surfaces. It did not feel clean and fresh.

This was a Premier room, which is supposed to be one of the better options in the hotel. Because of this, it is hard not to wonder what the standard or budget rooms are like.

One more problem — one of the beds caused constant itching. We had to move to the second bed. Luckily, there were two beds in the room.

Soundproofing is poor because of connecting doors between rooms. You can hear your neighbors very clearly. In my case, the neighbors were from India and were quite loud, arguing often — even late at night and early in the morning. After a few days, it felt like I could almost understand their language just from hearing it so much.

The hotel has many international guests, and I noticed a large number of visitors from India. It feels more like a busy family hotel than a quiet place.

The location is also not very convenient. The hotel is far from the main town, so you need to use taxis. Taxis are not expensive, but you cannot just walk out to restaurants or shops. You will spend most of your time at the hotel, where food and drinks are more expensive than in town.

Overall, the hotel feels old and not well taken care of. It may be okay if you only need a place to sleep with a nice view. But if you care about comfort and cleanliness, this is not a good choice.

To sum up:
Nice view, but poor room condition and not a convenient location.

I would not stay here again.
