I hardly know where to start... This is the largest howling the world, check-in is 100% automated, the rooms quality and view vary a lot at the ferry same price, and in order to rectify any problem the queue to the reception staff may well reach 250+ people, with waiting time UP TO SEVEN HOURS!

What is great there though, Are tha views from those rooms that have it (most of them don't) and vrwelcoming and professional reception and housekeeping staff. My problems were attendee very efficiently once I got hold of supervisors.

What truly shocked me us total absence of in-room internet, wired or wireless, free or chargeable. Come on, it's 2026th!!!

The kids had a blast! There were so many dining options to choose from, and the transportation was super convenient. Plus, the weather was nice and cool. It's a great spot for a vacation, and I'll definitely bring my family back next holiday!

I had a pleasant stay at Awana Genting Resort. The resort is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a peaceful escape from the busy city. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with beautiful views of the surrounding hills.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The facilities, including the swimming pool and dining options, were well maintained and enjoyable. The complimentary shuttle service to Genting Highlands was also very convenient.

If you're visiting with family, bring a picnic mat, some snacks, a kite, and bubble toys for the kids. There's a big field for children to run around and play while you relax and enjoy the surroundings. The beautiful greenery and fresh mountain air make it a perfect spot for a simple family picnic and a relaxing day outdoors.

Overall, Awana Genting Resort is a great choice for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with easy access to Genting Highlands. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to families, couples, and anyone seeking a quiet retreat in nature.

Room is bigger than First world. Room cleanliness and housekeeping should be better considering the price paid.
Room is quiet but w/o Aircon, only just a fan. If weather is cooling it will be ok.

Location: 10mins walk to genting grand ******/ coffee terrace; 15mins walk to sky ******/ indoor theme park/ sky avenue. 
Amenities: take another lift to B5 for a canteen and cafe.

The hotel front desk staff were friendly, and there was a Chinese-speaking attendant, so language wasn't an issue. The room was spacious, clean, bright, and luxurious! They even provided beautiful complimentary refreshments! The view from the window was especially good, with the clouds in the mountains below us. It's a shame the weather wasn't great during our stay, as it was very foggy.

The hotel service was good, and the facilities were complete. The breakfast selection was limited and the taste was average. The hotel is connected to Wintown, which is very convenient. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Although the view was open, it was often foggy and unclear.

We still rated 5 stars as our stay was great overall. Just wanted to let you know that even though the ”DO NOT DISTRUB” sign was on, my friend saw staff and the manager opening her door room. Nothing was missing. The air conditioner also couldn't be adjusted, but everything else was fine.

Things  i enjoyed:

Clean beach, large pools with playgrounds, friendly staffs. Pools have lifeguards on duty. Huge lobby. Kids fun club is okay. Just that the inflatable playground wasn't very sturdy. 

Cons:

Lack of activities, hallway a big dark at night. One of thhings i wished to do here is atv ride and get a spa massage. But the atv is no longer available. The spas are no longer open. A bit sad. The place have a lot of potential. Went to turtoise information center but no one there. A security staff told us to go to reception for more info but just didn't have enough time to. The place is huge. 

Food is a bit pricey but i guess its okay for 4 or 5 stars hotel. Just that the taste is average.

The view from the balcony is absolutely spectacular and definitely the highlight of our stay. The room itself was very neat and tidy, and we appreciated the large TV.

However, the facilities look quite old and could use some refurbishment. The corridors also appear worn and are not very inviting. There was a strong smell of food, including durian, when we stepped out of the elevator, which wasn’t pleasant. Another inconvenience was that Block 1 only has one elevator, so we had to walk quite a distance to reach Blocks 3 and 4. The balcony also had sand on the floor and wasn’t as clean as we expected.

Overall, the room was comfortable with an amazing view, but the common areas and facilities could be better maintained to enhance the overall guest experience.
