The room itself was alright, but when I arrived, the bed sheets were covered in hair. I had to ask the staff to change the linens, which was a very unpleasant experience. I was in a rush the rest of the time, but the location is good. There's a washing machine downstairs, which costs 25 RMB for a 2-hour wash and dry cycle. The breakfast was decent, better than the one at the Asakusa Onsen Hotel, with more variety.

The hotel is very close to Gotanda Station, about a 5-minute walk from the station to the hotel. Although it's close to Haneda Airport, you have to transfer, which I imagine would be quite tiring if you're carrying luggage. For shopping and dining, the Yamanote Line is very convenient. You could also take a taxi to the airport, it's not too expensive.

Across the street from the hotel is ***, which I stumbled upon on my way to Don Quijote. There are plenty of places to eat nearby; you don't need to specifically seek them out. I didn't book the hotel breakfast because I heard it was just so-so, so I went to a nearby Saison bakery instead, which was pretty good.

However, the sealant around the bathroom sink was almost completely peeled off, and it seems the hotel doesn't check these things before guests check in. Also, the ventilation fan was weak, leaving a lot of steam after a shower, so I went to the large public bath on the top floor the next day. I requested a room away from the station, which I think I got, but I could still hear noise. It seems sleeping in a room on the station side at night would be impossible. The soundproofing isn't great either; I could clearly hear conversations from outside.

The room rate was very appealing. But I wouldn't recommend it; I still prefer Hamamatsucho!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, with easy access to the train station, restaurants, and convenience stores, making it very convenient for sightseeing.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the hotel had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.
Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again on our next trip to Japan. Highly recommended!

Facilities: The facilities are quite comprehensive, with a laundry room, public bath, and vending machines.
Cleanliness: The hygiene conditions are also quite good; it's very clean.
Environment: It's very close to both the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium and the Japan National Stadium, within walking distance. There's also a lot of greenery around, which is refreshing. In terms of transportation, several stations are within a 10-minute walk.
Service: The service is also very thoughtful. You can store your luggage before check-in and after check-out, and you can even request a key card as a souvenir.

Highly recommend the Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier in Tokyo! The room offered an amazing view, perfect for enjoying the bustling city lights at night. It's just a few minutes' walk to Shimbashi Station, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The sky lobby is quite unique, service communication was smooth, and the room was clean and tidy. Its Ginza location makes shopping and dining effortless. Definitely my top choice for a Tokyo trip.

The hotel's location is great, and other reviews have already covered it in detail. From Haneda Airport, you can take the subway directly to the hotel's nearest exit, Higashi-Ginza A1 on the Keikyu Line, which has a vertical elevator. Getting back to Haneda Airport was a bit roundabout; you need to go to platform 1 to catch the train, and it takes about thirty-something minutes to reach the airport. My husband and I were traveling with our thirteen-year-old child, and the hotel wouldn't allow us to stay in a double room; we had to book an additional room, which led to extra expenses. For the last two days, we switched to a triple room and paid the difference at the front desk. The hotel's cleanliness was acceptable. I suspect the previous occupants of our room might have been *foreigners from a specific country, as there was an unremovable body odor that made me dizzy. Due to the language barrier, I couldn't communicate this, so we just put up with it. I didn't encounter any Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, so I don't know if they have any, even though there were indeed many Chinese guests. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, with six main options and other self-serve items. The choices were almost identical for all three mornings, and I really couldn't find anything to my taste. I regretted booking the hotel breakfast; it would have been more delicious and cost-effective to eat at a nearby cafe. This was not a good experience, so whether I'll stay here again in the future is up to fate.

The hotel is located in a relatively quiet area, about a five to six-minute walk from the subway. The room is a bit small (Japanese rooms are generally small, and this one is actually on the larger side), but thankfully it's clean and quiet. What's really nice is that the hotel has a communal bath that's open all night. After a day of walking around Tokyo, a good soak really helps with the fatigue – a huge plus! This bathing facility alone makes me want to choose this hotel again if I ever return to Tokyo.

This is my fifth time staying at a Mitsui Garden Hotel, and this particular one is absolutely, incredibly fantastic. My review today will be long and detailed, and I hope it helps those new to Tokyo who are unsure about which hotel to choose.

Before I begin, I must express my gratitude to a hotel employee named Shin. On the evening of July 30th, the night I arrived in Tokyo, I suddenly experienced kidney stones. At midnight, when the pain became unbearable, Mr. Shin assisted me by calling an ambulance and diligently inquiring about my condition. He even accompanied me in the ambulance, helping to communicate between myself and the paramedics. He spent almost an hour and a half of his time during this stifling early morning, continuously offering comfort without any hint of impatience. I am truly grateful to him; otherwise, I might have faced significant trouble. Of course, I believe other staff members would have been equally helpful. The day after I recovered, other staff at the front desk (staff-san) also inquired about my well-being, which speaks volumes about the high caliber of this hotel's employees. Their professionalism is further evident in their kind and polite demeanor every time our eyes meet, their patience while waiting for the elevator, not to mention their warmth during check-in and check-out.

Returning to the hotel itself, it's located in Nihonbashi and Muromachi, next to Mitsukoshi Department Store. The location is very easy to find; almost all taxi drivers know it. For public transport, there's the Ginza Line and Kanda Subway Station (Hanzomon Line), making it very convenient whether you're coming from Tokyo Station or the airport. Getting to Asakusa and Ginza is even easier.

Regarding service, the examples above already highlight how excellent it is, so I won't belabor the point. In short, it's exceptional.

In terms of facilities, Mitsui Garden Hotels generally offer a consistent standard. The bathroom and bedroom are separated by a screen that can be manually opened or closed, allowing for a wet/dry division. The room size is ample for movement; for Tokyo, where space is at a premium, the room is not small (of course, if you plan to play a World Cup match inside, that's another story!). The hotel's front desk is on the 9th floor, offering a broad view. Coupled with a subtle, non-overpowering fragrance, it exudes a strong sense of sophistication. Before entering the guest room area, you need to use your room key to access the first door, which provides a good sense of security. The carpets in the room area are substantial, contributing to excellent soundproofing. Vending machines and ice machines are available on certain floors, which is also a characteristic feature of Mitsui Garden Hotels.

For room cleaning, you choose your preference using a magnetic sticker on the door. Based on their eco-cleaning philosophy, I opted for one cleaning midway through my 4-night, 5-day stay, just to have my towels changed.

Breakfast is my only regret. Because my doctor advised me to slightly delay my first meal each day, I wasn't able to experience it during my stay. I hope to try it next time, hahaha.

I don't know if this counts as over-expressing myself, but I truly, truly love this hotel. So much so that before I left, I spent some time making sure it looked almost the same as when I first arrived.

I'm a hotel member, but I still book through the Trip.com app each time because it allows more people to learn about the hotel through reviews on the platform. That's why I write very detailed accounts of my true experiences and feelings every time I stay at a hotel, hoping they can be helpful to others.

The hotel's location is great; you can see Tokyo Tower as soon as you step out, and it's only a 5-6 minute walk to Roppongi subway station, and 10 minutes to Azabudai Hills. However, walking towards the subway station takes you past many bars and adult entertainment establishments, with some touts trying to solicit business. It's advisable to be cautious if you're out late at night. There are three convenience stores within 200 meters downstairs, Don Quijote is a 3-minute walk away, and there's also the popular Chikyu ramen shop. On the downside, the room facilities are mediocre, and the hairdryer isn't very good. This hotel is highly recommended if your main activities are around Roppongi, Azabudai, Daikanyama, Omotesando, Harajuku, and Shibuya. However, if you primarily plan to visit Ginza or Asakusa, you might want to consider other options.

Compared to other Mitsui Garden hotels, this one certainly provides more premium toiletries. However, it is expensive!

Like other Mitsui Garden hotels, from 2026…. In the name of environmental sustainability, (1) they provide plastic/reusable slippers which don’t seem hygienic to me and I hated them, (2) bedsheets are changed only after 3 nights. Room cleaning was not very thorough, there was dust at the corners. I can’t find the exact photo now but I had deliberately left a small slip of packaging on the floor to monitor if it would be cleared away but it wasn’t! Their housekeeping team could definitely do better!

Unlike other Mitsui Garden hotels I have used, it was not so easy to locate welcome drinks (I did not end up having any). The reception/front desk was also baffling because it tends to be empty or just manned by 1 staff until they notice more patrons around then more staff would appear from their backroom. I appreciate how suitcases I had forwarded to the hotel ahead of my arrival was in my room waiting for me. They also took note of my request for more pillows. Thank you.

Other considerations - entire hotel is dimly lit. There are 2 sets of elevators. One to the lobby, and a separate on to go to the rooms. I timed the journey, it takes almost 1 full minute to get from lobby to B1. Even when I requested for a room near the elevators, I was given a room nested very deeply/far away and required a lot of walking. The carpet made it challenging to move suitcases.

Location-wise, It’s not the most convenient if want to visit Shibuya/Harajuku but ok for Tsukiji and Ginza. Not so many eateries around and while there are convenient stores, there’s currently no full-fledged supermarkets around. Considering how expensive this place is… its limitations / inconveniences, I would reconsider staying there.

Whenever I visit Japan, I always book with either the Daiwa or Mitsui hotel groups. They consistently deliver on hygiene, ambiance, and convenient locations.

This particular hotel is near Shijo Karasuma, with bus stops right outside, making it easy to get to all the attractions. Plus, there's a beloved cafe nearby. The room wasn't cramped, and the cleanliness was impeccable. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, and best of all, there's a Life supermarket, which was incredibly convenient for picking up food.

I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip.

The hotel is conveniently located, just one stop from Kyoto Station to Gojo, then a 5-minute walk using navigation. There are some small eateries and convenience stores nearby, plus a duty-free shop right next door.

However, the hotel's bathhouse alternates between men and women daily... one day it's only a sauna, and the other day it's a hot spring bath! 😅😅😅 This is the first time I've seen such 'resource sharing.' Most Japanese hotels I've stayed at before provided disposable skincare products like lotions and emulsions, but this one didn't. The welcome drink they offered had no taste; I thought it was water, but it was light yellow. Not sure what it was.

The room size was decent, enough space to open two suitcases, which is a huge plus.

The location is excellent, just a three-minute walk from the metro station. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet. Right across from the hotel is the Culture Museum, which is housed in a beautiful old building itself. Downstairs, there are bars and restaurants with good food. Shin-Puh-Kan Hall and BAL are also within walking distance.

Let me start with the conclusion: I'd stay here indefinitely and would recommend it to every friend visiting Kyoto.

I feel incredibly lucky to have stayed here; it truly enhanced my travel experience.

Cleanliness: I didn't find any issues.
Ambiance: The lobby is very comfortable. Every time I returned, I'd sit there to relax. The flow of guests and hotel staff created a wonderful atmosphere. The hotel has an artistic touch that clearly sets it apart from budget hotels, yet it doesn't feel old.
Room: It's not large, but definitely sufficient for two people.
Service: There's always someone available, and all requests are promptly addressed. The ladies are gentle, and the gentlemen are very friendly. The cleaning staff, especially the 'aunties,' are incredibly diligent – they knock on the door so meticulously, it's like they're afraid of missing you, haha.
Location: Absolutely fantastic! Just 10 meters outside is the bustling main street, offering a quiet retreat in the midst of it all. Nishiki Market, Shijo Kawaramachi, and Kamo River are all conveniently located. It's incredibly convenient. Walking down the alleys, you'll find many great restaurants to explore. We ate at Ichiryu Manbai Ramen for four days straight, haha.
Breakfast: Not cheap, but very delicious!

After exiting Kyoto Station Central Gate, I first snapped a picture of Kyoto Tower, then turned right and walked straight down the road for about 20 meters. The hotel was directly across the intersection. The transportation is incredibly convenient. Breakfast was decent with a good variety. All the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Even though I don't speak English or Japanese, they quickly got me checked in using a translator! The hotel is very clean and offers a peaceful retreat despite being centrally located. Excellent! I used to always stay on the Hachijo-guchi side, but from now on, this will be my go-to hotel!

After extensive research on various social media and travel apps, I chose this hotel, and my experience far exceeded expectations – it was truly worth it. The airport/station transfer was convenient, and the front desk staff provided excellent service, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious, and all amenities were exceptionally complete. The hotel's location is also superb; it's quiet at night, and various attractions are within walking distance, just across the street from the luxurious Capella. The public bath was a delightful surprise, much cleaner and more professional than many hot spring resorts in China. A soak before bed truly helped me recover and recharge. Regarding some reviews mentioning preferential treatment towards white guests and ***, I didn't experience any of that, except for one odd instance during breakfast where my half-eaten meal was cleared away prematurely. The breakfast selection was incredibly diverse and plentiful. Overall, a fantastic and worthwhile stay!

As always, it's clean, quiet, and well-located. It's a 5-7 minute walk to the nearest subway and bus stations. There's an indoor public bath, and laundry/dryer machines are available on the 3rd and 5th floors for 600 yen for 120 minutes. I'll definitely choose Mitsui Garden again next time I'm in Kyoto!

I've stayed at Mitsui Garden hotels several times during my trips to Tokyo and always had a good impression. So, when I saw a great price for their Fukuoka location, I booked it without hesitation. The hotel's location is excellent, just a few hundred meters from the subway station, and surrounded by numerous restaurants and shops. The highlight is definitely the public bath (sento); although not large, it's impeccably clean, and you can enjoy a relaxing soak while gazing at the moon. On my last day, I needed to do some personal work, so I requested a late check-out. The latest they could extend was until 1 PM, costing 2000 JPY per hour (tax included). The front desk handled my request quickly and efficiently, and the service was very nice. It would be perfect if the room's internet speed were a bit more stable.

This hotel is conveniently located and easily accessible. It's a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station, and only 2 minutes from Exit 5 or 6 of Gion-Shisha-mae Station on the Nanakuma Line. Canal City Hakata is also within walking distance. Across the street, there's a 7-Eleven. To the left of the hotel entrance is a popular breakfast spot, and to the right is Fuk Coffee, which always has a line of Koreans. Diagonally across the road is FullFull Bakery, and the mentaiko baguette there is delicious, especially if you go when there's no line in the afternoon! The hotel rooms are a bit small, and the bathroom doesn't have a separate shower and toilet. However, the rooftop onsen is great, with both an indoor and outdoor bath, both very comfortable. When it's busy, you might have to wait to shower, and the changing room is a bit small. There are only two washer-dryer machines in the laundry room, and there's always a queue. I stayed on the 6th floor this time, and there were indeed ambulance and police car sirens at night, but it didn't really affect my sleep overall. The pillows were a bit soft and low, but the smaller companion pillow came in handy; stacking two together was just right. The complimentary bottled water in the fridge was a nice touch, and the room was cleaned daily, which was great!
