For a hotel that opened this year, it's considered quite new in Taiwan. The location offers good value for money, and the facilities are impeccable. However, the service is lacking. While a few individuals at the front desk were very friendly and greeted me, most just stared without acknowledging me, which felt awkward. When I called the front desk with questions, they seemed a bit impatient and hung up very quickly. During my stay, the hotel was cleaning the windows, so I couldn't open them or the curtains.

The hotel is just nearby the MRT station Xingtian Temple. Traffic is convenient to visit the city center and the attractions. The breakfast is impressive with good taste and various choices. Hotel room is clean even though not spacious when a queen size bed and an extra single bed are placed. Staff is friendly. Recommend for a trip with family.

What I loved most about staying at the Kodak Hotel this time was its super convenient location! It's just a few minutes' walk to the MRT station, making it really easy to get around, whether you're going shopping downtown, visiting attractions, or catching a ride. There are plenty of convenience stores and snack shops downstairs, so you don't have to go far for food or essentials, which makes getting around very efficient.

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and all the basic amenities were available. The front desk staff were friendly and check-in was quick. Overall, it offers good value for money. The location really is a big plus, perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I'd definitely choose this place again next time I visit and highly recommend it to everyone!

The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, and there wasn't any noise. The service was excellent, and they basically had everything you could need, including a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. It's also very close to the subway station. I'll definitely come back next time. It was a very comfortable experience.

Fantastic hotel with excellent service! Including free use of washing machines with washing detergent provided. Also free snacks and water available in reception, which was great to take with us for our daily adventures!
Excellent location walking distance from the main train and bus station.

Everything is fine except the food in the breakfast, which is limited in choice.

I had a wonderful stay at KO Hotel Dunnan during my recent trip to Taipei. The location is super convenient and surrounded by tons of food, shopping, and entertainment options. Despite being in a busy area, the hotel itself was quiet, clean, and very comfortable.
The room was compact but well-designed, with everything I needed: a good bed, clean bathroom, and even some thoughtful touches like complimentary water and toiletries. The staff were polite and efficient during both check-in and check-out.
What stood out most was the lobby area — it's super stylish, like an Instagram-worthy spot with quirky art and decorations. Also, the price was really reasonable for the location and quality.

The main reason for choosing this hotel was its location in Geylang, a vibrant old district, hoping to experience the local charm and buzz. However, the hotel's facilities and cleanliness were indeed subpar!

I really do laugh at what some people put on these reviews, there is so much negativity! Jesus wise up this isn’t the Marina Bay Sands!!, you get what you pay for. Firstly I don’t find the check in process problematic you just need to be organised. Secondly I had no problem finding the place and there was someone at the desk when I arrived. Thirdly they were extremely accommodating about my luggage before check in and check out. All I’m interested in when travelling is security (the lockers were fine) and there is a key code to the outside, cleanliness (the sheets and the pods themselves were fine) location (absolutely fantastic) air conditioning (brilliant and permanently on) WiFi (very good even in the pods). I also don’t have any issue with noise from the many bars and restaurants on the road. My only criticism would be the washroom which is small and the floors are often wet (caused by the tumble dryer constantly on) and the fact there is neither a general socket or usb c connection in the pods. As for the smell in the dorm room yes it’s apparent but it’s just men’s feet and trainers. Don’t bother me. Finally a big shout out to Silvie who was very helpful for me with luggage etc. I love Singapore but it’s not cheap. This place offers value and location

The location is very convenient, the green line of the metro is going through all the major sights, so no need to change lines. The room itself is just fine, there is enough space for one person. Hot water in the shower, air conditioning is working, stuff was nice and helpful!

Cleanliness: it is okay thou i found small cockroach inside the room. It was abit old building. 
Location: for me its near to everything. Restaurants are all around, bus stop to everywhere is only 2 mins walk.
Service: the receptionists doesn’t really speak to you unless youll approach them hence they are approachable. They even let us iron our clothes in their laundry area. 
Amenities: they offer toothbrush and liquid soap for the guest.

Great value for travellers coming for a concert I literally walked to the stadium. It is basic so suitable if youre focused on saving money.

Hotel is clean and have pretty of space that allow my wife to study with a desk. The only one item need some improvement is the safety box, it is too small , I can not put my computer in it.
