Overall, the welcome amenities were very generous, with plenty of fruit and cake. However, the front desk service has significantly declined compared to my previous stays. The staff member who checked me in was aloof; they didn't proactively inform me about the breakfast location or mention any executive lounge benefits. There was no smile or polite language throughout the process, which felt perfunctory and just going through the motions. Later, when I had some issues during my stay, the duty manager who contacted me was also impatient, with a rather irritable tone and attitude. This was completely lacking the warmth and enthusiasm expected from a five-star hotel. I hope the hotel strengthens its service training for front desk staff and duty managers to restore its previous service standards.

The hotel stay was great, though it's quite high up with the lobby on the 38th floor. The room service was excellent! They noticed I didn't have a mouse pad and even brought one up for me. I've stayed in so many hotels, and this is the only one that's ever been so considerate about a small detail like a mouse pad.

First off, full marks for the view – it's truly, truly incredible! And another full score goes to the service. I checked in late at night, and the concierge might have already left as there was no one to help with my luggage. However, the front desk manager's service attitude deserves full marks. They were very thoughtful and helped me find a room that was perfectly to my liking. Although there was a minor issue with a small spider scurrying across the room, the manager explained it was due to being near the water and that windows are opened during cleaning, making it easier for them to get in. I understood this point, and they promptly moved me to another room. The service was genuinely warm and attentive. Overall, the room was clean and spacious, and the bathtub was quite large, making it a comfortable choice for a vacation. You really feel the warm and thoughtful service attitude, and they genuinely resolve issues. The person who came to do the turndown service might still be a bit new to the job, as they struggled with the curtains for a while. I hope they get more training. As for the food, I think the taste was pretty good, though the variety was a bit limited. I really enjoy staying at these relaxing, therapeutic-style hotels when I want to unwind, clear my mind, breathe some fresh air, and enjoy nature. This seems to be a new JW Marriott property, and overall, I think it's quite good. I'd definitely come back again for the service!

Having stayed at many Marriott properties before, JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Bao'an once again exceeded my expectations. The hotel boasts excellent hardware, meticulous cleaning, and well-equipped public facilities like the pool and gym. The overall ambiance is tranquil and elegant, perfect for business travelers. A special shout-out to Guest Services Executive Reina. From initial room inquiries to check-in, the entire process was seamless. She was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly explained my member benefits and executive privileges. When I had to change my travel plans and adjust my stay duration, Reina patiently helped me review my booking and coordinate solutions. Her communication was gentle and appropriate, and her work was reliable and efficient. She always provided detailed answers to my questions. Her service was proactive, polished, and perfectly balanced – never overly formal but always genuinely thoughtful, significantly enhancing my stay's comfort. I commend Reina for her professional and high-quality service. This will definitely be my first choice for future business trips!

I booked a family room, which came with a two-meter king-size bed and a one-meter single bed. The king-size bed was very comfortable, but the single bed was rock-hard, like sleeping on a wooden board; it was impossible to sleep on. In the middle of the night, it was so uncomfortable that I had to ask for an extra duvet to put on top of it before I could finally fall asleep. We didn't request an extra bed; the room we booked was supposed to have two beds. Shouldn't the mattresses on both beds be equally comfortable? This was very disappointing. We would rather have a slightly smaller room than compromise on a comfortable mattress. Apart from that, everything else was great.

Pretty good overall. The housekeeping staff were very diligent and responsible. The breakfast was just so-so, not a lot of variety, and maybe the taste wasn't quite to my liking. The 'staycation' special offer was great though, as it allowed for early check-in.

One of the amazing stays I made in Dubai, I actually celebrated my husband’s birthday along with my business trip, I requested the hotel for special arrangements and I am really grateful for their support and nice arrangements.
Overall I really enjoyed my stay and for sure I will recommend this hotel for all: as the hotel is luxury, JW kitchen’s food is so delicious, the location is amazing next to one of the best malls in Dubai, connected to Dubai Marina where you can find a number or restaurants and cafes and you will also be able to take a boat/ yacht trips.
Thanks to all the staff at the hotel as all were friendly and respectful.
