The lady at the front desk was very accommodating and granted my request for an east-facing room. The room was spacious, and the window was incredibly wide, offering a great view! The weather was perfect – cold but sunny, with the rising sun casting brilliant rays, a beautiful omen! The revolving restaurant had delicious food, and the seating arrangement was very comfortable. All the male staff provided excellent service! If I had to nitpick, the room was a bit too warm, and the windows couldn't be opened.

Traveling with my elderly family, we stayed at the Park Hotel for a two-day tour of Shanghai, celebrating the ***** New Year of the Horse. The location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. We strolled along Nanjing Road, admired the Bund, visited the Yu Garden Lantern Fair, and ascended the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. We took our time, chatted, ate, and simply enjoyed the peaceful and joyful atmosphere. It was truly heartwarming and satisfying.  Seeing the long queues daily for the famous butterfly pastries, it was such a rare treat to be able to order them directly from our room by scanning a QR code!  May the years be kind, my family be well, and I wish everyone a prosperous and smooth Year of the Horse!

I was a bit worried before coming, seeing the mixed reviews, but my stay exceeded all expectations. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the service was excellent. The female manager in the lobby was very friendly and made sure to check if we were enjoying our stay. For anyone who hasn't been here before, just book this place with your eyes closed, no need to do any research!

The Shanghai Jianguo Hotel is a well-established four-star hotel located in the heart of Xujiahui's commercial district. Its biggest advantage is its extremely convenient location, close to the subway and shopping areas, making getting around and shopping incredibly easy. The hotel offers consistent and standardized service, with clean and comfortable rooms, though some facilities feel a bit traditional and the decor is somewhat outdated. Overall, it provides a practical and reliable accommodation experience at a lower price than international five-star hotels in the same area. It's highly recommended for business travelers and leisure guests who prioritize convenient transportation and value for money.

This retro hotel is full of charm and boasts an excellent location right in the city center, opposite People's Square. What first struck me was how the hotel has preserved the nearly century-old architectural style of old Shanghai. The lobby, restaurant, and cafe are fantastic spots for photos. For someone who loves nostalgia like me, the rooms are absolutely perfect. Looking out at Nanjing West Road (with the bustling Huanghe Road just behind it) while enjoying a cup of coffee offers a unique flavor. 

Secondly, the front desk retains the unique charm of old Shanghai with its more seasoned staff. They handle interactions with international guests with ease. A special thanks to Tony Yang at the front desk; his calm and humorous demeanor, along with his very authentic recommendations for local food, attractions, and even transportation routes, made me feel incredibly welcome. My fondness for Shanghai instantly soared (I hope the hotel continues to feature such distinctive, senior staff). 

As I had an early flight the next day, the hotel's concierge thoughtfully booked a car to the airport for me. They even helped with my luggage all the way to the car before waving goodbye. Oh, a quick tip: you can scan a QR code in the room to buy freshly baked butterfly pastries from the International Hotel without queuing. They make a great gift for family back home.

Excellent Stay at Radisson Lingang – Truly Outstanding Service!

Radisson Lingang is located in a newly developed area in China that the government has recently opened up. It is an AI-focused district, and I believe more young families will be moving into this area in the future.

Our stay at Radisson Hotel Lingang was truly excellent.

What we loved:
	1.	Washing machine and dryer available
	2.	Very clean and well-maintained facilities
	3.	Spacious, luxurious rooms
	4.	Beautiful views
	5.	Located near parks and quiet walking areas
	6.	Heated indoor swimming pool with jacuzzi
	7.	The toilets were fantastic — especially the lobby and swimming pool toilets
	•	Steam room
	•	Heated jacuzzi
	•	Extremely spacious and well-designed toilet areas

Everything was well thought out. We had a beautiful and comfortable stay.

Outstanding Service:

Special thanks to Elvis, Yori, the security team, and the reception staff for their incredibly warm hospitality.

I had issues with WeChat, and the staff spent over an hour helping me fix it until it finally worked. They could have ignored it, but Elvis and Yori stayed with me the entire time to help. We were so touched that we bought gifts to thank them.

An unexpected situation happened when my son was bitten by mosquitoes in the room and lobby — surprisingly, in December at 3°C. The hotel took this extremely seriously.
They immediately drained the decorative water feature in the lobby, thoroughly cleaned the area, and for the next 3–4 days, housekeeping carefully ensured there were no mosquitoes. We felt a little embarrassed because we are not VIPs or important guests — just a normal family — yet the hotel treated this with such care.

They even offered medical assistance because my son is allergic to insect bites. The management and response were truly impressive — the CEO must be doing an excellent job.

On Christmas Eve, we were also given complimentary gifts. After the incident, the hotel apologised sincerely and even gave us two soft toys from Ocean Park for our children. I have honestly never experienced such service before.

The AI robots were amazing too — a very fun and futuristic experience.
Many staff members are from other provinces and do not live in Shanghai. They sacrifice a lot to work here, and it really shows in their dedication. If I were an undercover boss, I would hire them immediately!
Management should truly reward this team.

Suggestions for Improvement:
	•	Swimming pool hygiene could be monitored more closely. I witnessed a guest spitting phlegm into the pool multiple times, which was unpleasant.
	•	The pool shower area is beautiful, but the patterned floor mats trap hair easily. Since the mats cover the entire floor, it seems difficult for cleaners to lift and clean underneath properly. This felt unhygienic for a 5-star hotel. Also, the washing machine in the pool area was not working.
	•	In-room bathroom ventilation feels insufficient. After showering, the bathroom became smelly, and we had to leave the door open to air it out. The black tiles and drainage design made the area feel slippery and not ideal.
	•	Housekeeping entered during the daytime when the “Do Not Disturb” sign was not displayed, which startled us a few times.
	•	The hotel air felt quite dry, and we experienced a lot of static electricity.

Final Thoughts:

Despite these minor suggestions, the hotel is amazing.
I would absolutely recommend staying here — you really have to experience it for yourself.

First off, the location is excellent. It's right next to Metro Zhaojiabang Road Exit 4, just 2.5 km from the Huangpu River, and Zhongshan Hospital is only a few minutes' walk away. Secondly, the room was incredibly spacious, with excellent amenities and comfortable bedding. Despite being close to the road, the room was well soundproofed and quiet. Downstairs, within just a short walk, you'll find restaurants, fruit shops, and supermarkets, making it incredibly convenient. I would definitely consider staying here again; it's highly recommended.

On May 3, my husband, daughter and I, a family of three, stayed overnight at the Longbai Hotel, which we had longed for. We booked a package on Ctrip.com to experience the hotel where the national leaders stayed. The beautiful lawn and the small garden behind the lobby are good places to rest. The hotel waiter Gu Wentao was hospitable and upgraded two rooms for us. The king-size bed room has a balcony with a view of the lawn. The waiters in the Chinese restaurant on the second floor were hospitable and the chef cooked local dishes for us. In order to leave a good memory, we took pictures of the layout of the room when the national leaders visited, including the small and exquisite telephone. The breakfast was nutritious and varied, which was also good. All five-star reviews.

For our joint birthday and wedding anniversary celebration, we chose the Jinjiang in Zhujiajiao. I had messaged the hotel through Trip.com beforehand, hoping for a small surprise, but unfortunately, I didn't receive a reply. Upon check-in, we received a room upgrade. I'm not sure if it was due to our two-night stay, a belated surprise, or perhaps, as my husband speculated, because the villa was easier to maintain. Compared to hotels that offer more thoughtful and proactive 'soft services' (customer care), their attention to detail in this aspect felt a bit lacking, which was a real shame. The villa itself was truly magnificent, boasting unbeatable water views and incredibly spacious interiors. The bedding was very comfortable, and the breakfast impressively highlighted local specialties. However, the faucets could be a notch higher in quality, and we wished they were more securely fixed to the countertop. Many thanks to Jackson, our buggy driver, who escorted us to our room on the first day and provided a detailed and enthusiastic introduction.

My child was taking an exam nearby, so I didn't want to get up too early. I booked this hotel based on the distance. The overall feeling was average, the facilities were old, and the service telephones in the room were not accessible. Finally, I contacted the hotel through Ctrip for consultation. This price is probably completely bound to the location. The price-performance ratio is not high, and the facilities and services are not as good as many 3⭐ hotels in cities

The hotel is very nice, excellent service, clean, good-smelling and bright. Breakfasts are quite good, wide range of different food. A bit far away from metro station, but railway park make the walk nice. Also conference hall are really comfortable too, good equipped.

The hotel is well-located, offering convenient access to a nearby station and within walking distance of Wangfujing, while being slightly removed from the busier (and more expensive) center of that area. There are also plenty of affordable local dining options close by. Check-in was smooth, requiring a 500 RMB deposit, which was promptly refunded upon check-out.

The room was spacious and generally well-maintained, with good cleaning service. The bed was slightly firm, but the room was equipped with daily-provided bathroom amenities, effective heating, complimentary bottled water, comfortable slippers, and robes.

It was spring during our stay, and high dust levels in the city affected the air quality in the room, which could be a concern for guests with allergic rhinitis. Additionally, the hotel's policy of not operating air conditioning during spring resulted in occasional discomfort at night, although a fan was provided quickly upon request.

Hotel facilities were not extensively used, but we noted they had a good-sized conference and banquet area, which could be useful for business or event travelers.
The neighborhood around the hotel felt safe and was pleasant for walking, with easy access to transportation and food options. The hotel itself was well soundproofed, ensuring a quiet stay despite its central location.

One notable drawback was the language barrier. Despite being a 4-star hotel, none of the staff we encountered spoke English, which made communication challenging. On several occasions, calls to the reception desk were disconnected without resolution, which felt unprofessional.

Lastly, we chose not to avail of the hotel's breakfast due to its relatively high price, but the abundance of nearby, affordable dining options made this a non-issue.

Overall, I would still recommend this hotel to business and family travelers looking for a centrally located, safe, and generally comfortable place to stay.

Stayed temporarily for overtime, free parking. There is a KTV in the basement of the hotel, and the lobby on the first floor is a bit noisy. The room was cleaned fairly well. There was no toothbrush, but the robot could bring it up, which was very convenient. However, the mahogany style of the room looked very old overall, and the facilities were not good, especially the bathroom. The bathtub was difficult to drain, and the hair dryer was very weak, and the hair dryer could not blow up the hair. It was okay to stay for one night, but it is not recommended if you are traveling to Beijing

I left the hotel for a week and forgot to comment for the first time. The receptionist Li Chaoran was warm, the reception was timely, and the process was professional. As soon as I got off the plane, I made people feel at home and I was very happy.
The housekeeping department cleaned up the room and was clean and refreshing. It was very good for our personal items. The needs of the guests were in place for the first time and were considerate. We were very happy to stay for 6 nights.
The security guard at the gate is attentive and always helps us open and close the door, so that you can warm your heart in winter.
Finally, Li Chaoran received the store after leaving the store. I also said that there is a beginning and a end. The leaders should give praise and rewards, because their sticking to their posts can make us feel warm.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Muslim Quarter. There's a subway station right outside the entrance, making transportation incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the room was clean and tidy. The floor staff were also very polite and had a great service attitude. The facilities are comprehensive, including free swimming and a gym, plus a laundry room. The East-meets-West buffet breakfast was also delicious. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Xi'an.

During this trip to Xi'an, staying at Jinjiang International Hotel gave me a lot of surprises and touching moments.
The hotel's appearance is magnificent and perfectly blends with the ancient charm of Xi'an. When entering the lobby, luxury and elegance come to my face. Cheng Yaru and Yang Shaohui at the front desk opened a pleasant journey for me with their professionalism and enthusiasm. When checking in, they were skilled and answered all my questions fluently. Whether it was room details or travel guides, they gave accurate and practical answers.
The room is spacious and bright, with a sophisticated layout and simple and elegant decoration. The bedding is extremely comfortable, the facilities are complete, the bathroom is high-end and clean, and the toiletries are of excellent quality. The view outside the balcony is beautiful day and night.
In short, the hotel performs well in all aspects. The high-quality service is the finishing touch. If I have the opportunity to come to Xi'an again, this will definitely be my only choice, and I will definitely recommend it to others. I believe that every guest can enjoy a good time here.
