Title: Great Location, But Triple Occupancy Details Missed the Mark

Body: We brought our child to Beijing for the summer holiday in early July and booked the Jinglun Hotel. What attracted us was its excellent location – close to Guomao (CBD) and the subway station, making it convenient to get anywhere. After staying there, the location indeed lived up to expectations, and the room was more spacious than we imagined.

However, one small detail was a bit uncomfortable: We checked in as three people, but upon entering the room, we found only two sets of toothbrushes. We had to call the front desk to get the third set. Summer holidays are peak season for family travel, so triple rooms or family rooms should, by default, be equipped with three sets of toiletries. Having guests ask for them feels a bit reactive.

Other aspects were fine. The bedding was clean, and the air conditioning cooled down quickly, which was important since Beijing was already quite hot in early July. The front desk staff was pleasant during check-out, but I hope these small details can be paid attention to in the future. Overall, it was decent, but points were deducted due to these oversights.

The room was incredibly comfortable, with soft, skin-friendly bedding. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a quiet and peaceful stay. The layout was neat and clean, and the toiletries were high-quality, making me feel very secure. The breakfast offered great value for money, with a wide variety of dishes that were authentic and delicious – a perfect start to the day. The overall environment felt upscale yet relaxing, with elegant and spacious public areas. It’s a place where you can truly unwind, whether you're traveling for business or leisure. The service was also exceptionally thoughtful and attentive. My entire experience was fantastic, and this hotel has officially made it onto my list of must-stay 'treasure hotels' in Beijing. I highly recommend it to everyone!

I stayed at this hotel in Xicheng District for a week with my parents, wife, and children while visiting Beijing. It's an older, traditional hotel and caters to international guests (there were quite a few foreigners during my stay). The location is fantastic, very close to major attractions like the Forbidden City, National Museum of China, and Temple of Heaven. It's also conveniently located near Zhushikou and Hufangqiao subway stations, just a 6 to 8-minute walk away.

The breakfast selection is excellent, offering both Chinese and Western options, and at the time of my visit, children ate for free, which was a nice bonus. The housekeeping staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating; they promptly provided extra hangers when we needed them for our numerous clothes. When we requested bottled water, the front desk quickly responded, and a staff member delivered it to our room free of charge. Ordering takeout was also easy, though you do have to pick it up from the delivery lockers downstairs.

Overall, if you're planning to visit Beijing's main attractions, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient, with a clear and smooth process. They proactively informed us about the hotel facilities and patiently answered all our questions without any hint of impatience. The service was detailed and professional, and they were genuinely welcoming. The front desk area was clean and tidy, and their thoughtful service made for a very pleasant stay.

The surroundings are quite nice, and there's a small garden behind the hotel. Although there's a small street behind it, it's very quiet at night with few people or cars, so it's not noisy at all.

However, the soundproofing in the room isn't great; you can hear sounds from the next room. At night, there were also noises, I'm not sure if they were coming from the floor or the walls. The air conditioning was very loud and didn't provide any heat, so the room felt cold.

I came to climb the mountain on the weekend and was too lazy to get up early to stay and rest. I wanted a room with a bathtub, but the ordinary king-size bed room didn't have it, so I discussed upgrading the room. I especially want to praise the two front desk staff, two gentlemen, who were very enthusiastic and took me to visit two king-size bed suites in a row. Finally, I upgraded the room type by paying the difference at the front desk.
Each room in the king-size bed suite has a small narrow balcony, and birds often land on it, which is very comfortable. It rained heavily that day, and the beautiful scenery outside the window could not be taken in the room.

Two people in the courtyard boil tea around the stove: The outdoor environment is very good, and there are geese, mallards and mandarin ducks to feed.

First time in Beijing, during the Spring Festival, it was too difficult to book, I booked 10 days in advance. It took a long time to choose when booking. The hotel is close to the subway, has windows, twin rooms, large area, very good, equipped with air purifiers, refrigerators, everything, and the service is also very enthusiastic. The decoration is a bit old-fashioned, and the towels and bathrobes are hard, but overall it's not bad. The surrounding shops are closed during the Spring Festival, and it's hard to find a place to eat, but there is a small supermarket that can solve the problem.

The room is spacious and bright, with reasonable partitions.
The facilities are complete, smart and easy to use.
The night market across the street has all kinds of delicious food, which is dazzling.
The service at the front desk is particularly warm and thoughtful. Because I went to Qinhuangdao to run a marathon, I needed to have early breakfast in the morning. I didn't have time to check out at 12 noon, so I specifically asked for early breakfast and late check-out. After receiving my needs, the front desk actively solved my request, called to reply, and informed me of the solution after arriving at the store. When I left the store, because of the marathon, the hotel was still under traffic control. Knowing that I was in a hurry to catch the train, the front desk waiter rode an electric bike to take me to a location where I could take a taxi, so that I arrived at the station in time. It was so heartwarming ❤️❤️❤️
I will consider staying next time if I go to Qinhuangdao!

Overall it was good. Ctrip VIP users also got a free room upgrade. That was good. Because it was the Spring Festival holiday, the price was relatively higher than usual. The breakfast was OK, with more varieties. But the hotel's security was not very good. The takeaway staff outside could actually come up to the hotel to stay.
