The front desk staff, Xiao Lu, provided excellent and caring service, especially since we were traveling with seniors. She arranged a quiet room for us inside. The room itself was quite spacious by Beijing standards. We booked a room in building B, and while the decor and air conditioning were a bit older, everything essential was there. The hotel is conveniently located right by a subway station, and it's easy to order takeout from nearby.

Before our arrival, the hotel called to confirm the number of guests and proactively upgraded our room. We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door – the room was fantastic, so spacious, and far exceeded our expectations. A huge thumbs up!

The hotel is conveniently located on Jinyu Hutong, making it super easy to get to the Forbidden City, the National Museum, Yonghe Temple, and other attractions. I'll definitely recommend this place to any friends visiting Beijing.

Checked in on the 27th. We had one king room and two twin rooms, staying for three nights. The first night, I only got about 3 hours of sleep because it was scorching hot. The air conditioning wasn't cooling, and even the ventilation was blowing hot air. The windows couldn't be opened, so I was utterly speechless. I reported it to the front desk the next day, and they said they'd send a portable AC unit to my room. However, when I saw it that evening, it was just a standing fan! It had absolutely no cooling effect. I still couldn't sleep because it was so hot, with the room temperature staying above 25 degrees Celsius, and feeling very stuffy. To top it off, the combined noise from the AC (which wasn't cooling anyway) and the fan was around 50 decibels. I barely slept 10 hours in total over three consecutive nights. The other two rooms had the same issue. We wanted to switch hotels, but couldn't get a refund, so it was a truly miserable experience.

I brought my family to Beijing this time and booked the Jianguo Hotel through Trip.com. The overall experience exceeded my expectations.

Excellent Location: The hotel is located on East Chang'an Avenue, a 3-minute walk from Dongdan Station on Metro Lines 1 and 5. It's incredibly convenient for visiting Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and Wangfujing, saving time and effort when traveling with children.

Spacious Room: We booked the 'Jianguo Family Suite,' which is approximately 74 square meters, featuring a king-size bed and a separate single bed. My family found it comfortable and not at all cramped. The facilities are well-maintained with no obvious signs of age.

Warm Service: During our stay, we experienced attentive and thoughtful service from the hotel staff. Their prompt responses made us feel right at home. Food delivery was brought to our room by a robot, and there was always an attendant in the elevator, ensuring safety.

Dining and Facilities: The breakfast offered a mix of Chinese and Western options, including traditional Old Beijing snacks. The hotel also has a Chinese restaurant, a heated swimming pool, and a gym, providing a full range of amenities perfect for a family getaway.

Summary: This is an excellent value-for-money classic hotel. Its location, spaciousness, and service make it ideal for family travel. When booking through Trip.com, I recommend choosing the family suite and looking out for breakfast-inclusive deals. The standard check-out time is before 12:00 PM, and you can request a late check-out until 2:00 PM. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip to Beijing.

The hotel feels a bit dated, but the buffet restaurant has a unique style. We stayed during the Spring Festival, and the lobby was decorated very festively. The staff at the front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping were all very friendly and provided good service. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The hotel is conveniently located near Metro Line 2, and you can easily take a bus to visit Sanlitun and Chaoyang Park.

This is an older hotel, but its location is incredibly convenient, right by Chang'an Avenue. Yong'anli subway station is practically on its doorstep, making it super easy to get to Guomao and Xiushui Street. I was surprised to find a garden inside the hotel; it's quite rare to have such a peaceful spot in the heart of the city.

The biggest surprise was their noodle buffet – only 28.8 RMB per person! They offer handmade noodles with several kinds of braised toppings, plus sides like shredded cucumber and bean sprouts. For this area, that's an absolute steal. The ambiance and service were also great, with the staff being very friendly and professional.

However, since it is an older hotel, the facilities are a bit dated. If that's something you're particular about, it's worth keeping in mind. Overall, considering the prime location and excellent value for money, I would definitely stay here again.

For the price and location, just over 600 with breakfast is acceptable. However, as a middle-aged person, if it weren't for visiting clients nearby, I definitely wouldn't stay here myself. The facilities are too much like an old guesthouse. True, the shower seems to have been renovated and the water pressure is great, but in an old building, the drainage can't keep up. Washing my hair basically turned into a foot bath!

What's worth praising though is the excellent service. The doorman greets you proactively, and any issue brought to the front desk is immediately resolved. The cleanliness is also quite good.

The breakfast selection isn't huge, but it's clean and hygienic.

So, if elderly family members are traveling and don't mind the lack of high-tech facilities like electric curtains, this could be a suitable option.

This hotel is incredibly close to the South High-Speed Rail Station, reachable within a 15-minute taxi ride. The service is excellent; the front desk even upgraded my room without me asking. Breakfast is fantastic, with a wide variety of options, including a noodle bar and plenty of Beijing local specialties, thoughtfully marked with halal information. It's really great – I stayed here last year when I visited Beijing too. It's also very close to Niujie Street, which has tons of great food. The environment is nice, but for the twin room, there's only an outlet on one side of the bed, which is inconvenient! Overall, the price is reasonable. Highly recommended!

Overall, I had a very satisfying stay! The hotel called me prior to check-in to ask about my preferences, which was a very thoughtful touch. When I first checked into my room, it felt a bit warm. I reported it, and the staff responded quickly, even patiently showing me several other rooms until I found one I was happy with. The whole process was attentive and efficient. A special thanks to the Front Office Manager for their warm assistance – the experience was excellent, and I'll definitely be back.

The hotel environment and hardware are good. But the underground parking fee is a flaw. There are very few free parking spaces on the ground, and there are basically no vacancies all year round. In the huge underground parking lot of the Olympic Sports Center, the hotel actually charges guests for check-in. Which hotel would do this now? It is extremely short-sighted.
In addition, the hotel's breakfast is seriously inconsistent with the price. There is often only one open-kitchen chef on duty, and he can make fried eggs and noodles by himself. However, this chef sometimes finds a way to make pizza that is only sold at noon. No wonder some guests commented that they have to wait for fried eggs and there is no noodles.
And the desserts and breads for breakfast are all perfunctory, none of them can be taken out, and they are extremely unpalatable.
It is recommended that the chef go to Zhengzhou Hotel to learn and observe. Not to mention learning from Marriott, Wanda Wenhua and InterContinental, at least go and see the breakfast of the former Yuda and now Jiajin. At least it should be fresh, of quality and classy. Otherwise, it is better to eat a takeaway breakfast for 20 yuan.

To be fair, the biggest advantage is its proximity to the train station; you can essentially walk there. You don't even need to strictly follow navigation – just ask the front desk, and you'll get there quickly. Taking a taxi is actually inconvenient; we ended up taking a roundabout route.

The downside is that there's nothing much around, and dining options aren't very convenient. If you're traveling with kids, you can just eat at the hotel's top floor restaurant.

The breakfast was excellent! The lamb offal soup, spicy soup (hulutang), and desserts were all made with good quality ingredients. They weren't like those stale or low-quality vegetable cream desserts. The overall quality was great, especially the pound cake – I really loved it!

We accidentally broke a breakfast cup and were charged an extra 28 yuan. I felt the compensation price was a bit high, but it was indeed our fault. I'd suggest providing more baby-friendly cups if possible, otherwise, all-ceramic cups make accidents like this hard to avoid.

The swimming pool is under renovation, which is a bit of a pity. The hotel is in a great location, close to Ruyi Lake Corn House, and it is very convenient to eat nearby, such as Heji Huimian. The room is nice, especially the bathtub is great. The breakfast is very rich, combining Chinese and Western food, and the small croissant is delicious. The only drawback is that the orange juice is not very good.

After I checked out, the front desk immediately contacted me and handled it properly. The FM service was exceptionally thoughtful and polite, and the facilities were excellent. The swimming pool was free, and there was a night market nearby. The environment was very good, quiet, and comfortable. Highly recommended!
