After comparing several hotels for our family trip to Beijing, we finally settled on the Xinqiao Hotel, and it made our entire trip comfortable and hassle-free – a solid five-star rating! 

📍The location is absolutely fantastic. Right outside, you'll find Chongwenmen Subway Station for lines 2 and 5. It's just a 10-15 minute walk to Tiananmen Square, Wangfujing, and Qianmen, and only a few subway stops to the Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven. The surrounding New World and Guorui malls offer plenty of dining and shopping options. Plus, it's very close to Beijing Railway Station, making travel incredibly convenient, especially when traveling with kids.

🛁The room was full of pleasant surprises. The entire room features natural hot spring water drawn from a thousand meters underground, so all the water for washing is natural spring water, making showers wonderfully relaxing. The room was impeccably clean, the bedding was soft and dry, and the mattress was just the right firmness. It was quiet and peaceful at night. We stayed in a family duplex suite, which had two floors and two bathrooms, offering ample space – perfect for a family of three. The amenities were complete, and they even thoughtfully provided children's toiletries and slippers. The attention to detail was exceptional.

The hotel looks amazing and extravagant at the entrance.. with concierge at the door, but far from it.. didnt get anyone to help with our bags, didn’t even bother to ask or help with the doors .. our cards didn’t work to open the doors at first .. and the wife had to go down the get it sorted .. and no own bothered to come up to check  why..  once we got In the door to the bathroom is a bifold which was a massive pain the shower had mould, and crack .. stained bed sides, and no charging points on one side of the bed ..!  It’s not a bad hotels but it’s far from what they want to portrait .. also we booked through trip. Com and got charge extra as we couldn’t pay through the app..!! A definite 6/10 from us.

This five-star hotel has been recently renovated, and its cleanliness is impeccable, earning a perfect score 💯. To find such a great hotel on Chang'an Avenue at this price point offers excellent value for money. On the second floor, there are two Yangzhou cuisine restaurants, Yangzhou Yan and Quyuan. These are probably the best Yangzhou restaurants in Beijing. The restaurant's decor is unique, and there's even someone playing the guqin, performing 'Misty Rain Sings in Yangzhou'.

The 28th floor of the International Hotel features a revolving restaurant. It offers views of the area within Beijing's Second Ring Road. Located at No. 9 Jianguomen Inner Street, Beijing International Hotel has no taller buildings nearby, so the view is superb. South-facing rooms overlook the bustling traffic on Chang'an Avenue below, and Beijing Railway Station is just a few hundred meters to the south. The Jianguomen subway station, an interchange for Line 1 and Line 2, is conveniently located right outside, making getting around very easy.

Downsides:
1. There's a slight scent of renovation in the room.
2. The housekeeping staff needs more training. They should understand that while cleaning, they should not move or rearrange guests' belongings without permission. This can make guests feel insecure and erode their trust in the hotel.
3. The indoor lighting system is confusing to use. Although it's quite smart, guests should be given instructions on how to use it upon check-in.
4. I specifically booked a room with executive lounge access. During the day, the lounge only offered tea, with no snacks or fruit whatsoever. It was completely deserted during the day. I had intended to have a simple dinner at the executive lounge to avoid eating out, but the 'simple meal' was far too basic and, more importantly, tasted very poor. It felt as if they didn't want you to enjoy the food at all. The executive lounge's food was probably the worst part of this stay; other hotels' executive lounges are far superior to Beijing International Hotel's. It was precisely because I had such good experiences with executive lounge privileges at other hotels that I booked this room type. It was quite disappointing; we barely ate at the lounge, making the expensive room type a waste.

My top choice for business trips! The room has a spacious desk, making it easy to get work done. The mattress is comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. The front desk service is attentive, and I highly recommend the Asian Kitchen buffet on the first floor – great taste and a wide variety of dishes. Plus, the surrounding transport links are convenient. I'll definitely stay here again!

I stayed at the hotel for a weekend with my two-year-old baby. First off, the garden room on the ground floor, although not large, was quite cozy. However, there were quite a few mosquitoes and midges. I got bitten many times overnight, and while there was mosquito repellent liquid, it wasn't very effective. Also, for a two-year-old infant, I think adding a child-specific mosquito repellent would be a more thoughtful touch, as adult repellents aren't really suitable for young children.

But I must commend the hotel restaurant manager, a gentleman, who saw me alone with my baby and proactively offered to help me with a high chair. He was very service-minded and solved a tricky problem for me.

Overall, the hotel facilities are excellent. They've even child-proofed the hotel with rounded edges in many places, which is very safe for babies. The bed was also very comfortable. If it weren't for the mosquitoes, it would have been a fantastic stay.

Considering my baby's nap, the hotel offered a late check-out, which I really appreciate. However, the hotel's parking is currently self-paid at 8 RMB per hour, costing 190 RMB for a full day. This is a bit on the pricey side. It would be better if this was stated on the booking page.

Finally, the hotel's location is excellent. I took my baby to Ritan Park and the Fangzhuanchang Zhajiangmian restaurant behind the hotel. Overall, it's a 5-star rating! All the staff were incredibly service-minded.

The hotel feels a bit dated, but the buffet restaurant has a unique style. We stayed during the Spring Festival, and the lobby was decorated very festively. The staff at the front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping were all very friendly and provided good service. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The hotel is conveniently located near Metro Line 2, and you can easily take a bus to visit Sanlitun and Chaoyang Park.

This hotel's location is perfect for those traveling to Beijing with elderly family members and children. Downstairs, you'll find attractions like the Paleozoological Museum of China (which is open to the public), the main entrance of the Beijing Zoo, the Beijing Planetarium, Old Moscow Restaurant, and the Beijing Exhibition Center.

The hotel's breakfast is served in a sky restaurant, and the windows even thoughtfully indicate directions and the panoramic views. (However, that glass really needs a good cleaning!)

The room windows lack screens, posing a risk of items falling out if opened, and young children could potentially slip. The in-room facilities were odor-free, and the carpet was very clean.

The only thing that made me very uncomfortable and bothered me was the hotel's parking fee. For in-house guests, it's 60 RMB for 24 hours. Guests driving their own cars definitely need to factor this cost into their hotel expenses!

There are Chinese restaurants both within the hotel and in the apartment complex behind it.

It's an older hotel, so the facilities are a bit dated, but the service is excellent. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were great. I was traveling alone with two kids, and since the beds were quite narrow, I asked to have two beds pushed together. The front desk immediately sorted it out during check-in, which I really appreciated. Plus, it was very quiet after checking in, and I slept wonderfully. The location is also very convenient, close to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Qianmen, and Dashilar. It's very handy. If I have the chance, I'll definitely choose this place again.

This is a newly opened hotel, not far from the subway, which makes it very convenient to get to Universal Studios or anywhere else. The decor, environment, and facilities are also excellent. I came with my mother, who is a neat freak, and even she was very satisfied after seeing the room, making our stay very comfortable. The breakfast had a great variety and tasted good; we were very happy with it throughout our stay. The hotel staff were also very service-minded and would proactively ask guests about their needs. Overall, this is the most comfortable hotel I've stayed in recently, and I will choose it again next time I'm in Beijing.

This is a fantastic hotel with an excellent location, right next to Beihang University's Shahe Campus. It's just a 50-meter walk to enter the campus. The cleanliness and overall environment were also impressive. We booked a two-bedroom apartment in the building, featuring a two-bedroom, one-living-room layout. It was fully equipped and absolutely perfect for our family. The room even had a washing machine, and a dryer was available on the first floor. Parking was very convenient, and the staff were excellent. They were responsive to all our questions and enthusiastically helped us with our luggage. Upon learning our child was a new student registering at the university, they even gave us a welcome gift and a greeting card for freshmen, which truly made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back!

My stay here was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is perfect, incredibly close to the high-speed train station, which made getting around and catching my train super convenient – a real lifesaver for anyone on the go. My room was a duplex, and the two levels offered spacious and airy living with a smart layout that never felt cramped. The best part was having two bathrooms, which was incredibly thoughtful and made things so much more convenient. Zhang Haixia did an amazing job keeping it spotless; the attention to detail was top-notch.

The surrounding area also has everything you need. There's a Mixue Bingcheng just a short walk downstairs, so grabbing a drink was easy. I heard that Pang Donglai (a department store) is opening nearby soon, and there's already a large shopping mall next door, so future shopping, dining, and leisure options will be incredibly convenient. The room itself was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. It offers excellent value for money and is perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. I highly recommend it!

The hotel environment and hardware are good. But the underground parking fee is a flaw. There are very few free parking spaces on the ground, and there are basically no vacancies all year round. In the huge underground parking lot of the Olympic Sports Center, the hotel actually charges guests for check-in. Which hotel would do this now? It is extremely short-sighted.
In addition, the hotel's breakfast is seriously inconsistent with the price. There is often only one open-kitchen chef on duty, and he can make fried eggs and noodles by himself. However, this chef sometimes finds a way to make pizza that is only sold at noon. No wonder some guests commented that they have to wait for fried eggs and there is no noodles.
And the desserts and breads for breakfast are all perfunctory, none of them can be taken out, and they are extremely unpalatable.
It is recommended that the chef go to Zhengzhou Hotel to learn and observe. Not to mention learning from Marriott, Wanda Wenhua and InterContinental, at least go and see the breakfast of the former Yuda and now Jiajin. At least it should be fresh, of quality and classy. Otherwise, it is better to eat a takeaway breakfast for 20 yuan.

The swimming pool is under renovation, which is a bit of a pity. The hotel is in a great location, close to Ruyi Lake Corn House, and it is very convenient to eat nearby, such as Heji Huimian. The room is nice, especially the bathtub is great. The breakfast is very rich, combining Chinese and Western food, and the small croissant is delicious. The only drawback is that the orange juice is not very good.

My stay at Sanya Yalong Bay Shixi Villa Jianguo Resort was absolutely fantastic! A special shout-out to the front desk staff for their warm and efficient service. Not only was check-in super quick, but they also proactively upgraded my room to the sea-view one-bedroom loft apartment I had hoped for. The room itself was spacious and bright, with elegant and tasteful decor. Opening the window revealed a stunning sea view – truly breathtaking! The apartment-style design, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, made for a comfortable and convenient stay. What's more, the price for this stay was incredibly good value for money; getting such a high-quality experience for less than 800 yuan was truly amazing! Both the hotel's service and facilities left a lasting impression. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Sanya, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was delicious. This was a great experience; the hotel's service was very responsive. Once, I accidentally left something behind in the hotel. After I checked out, the front desk immediately contacted me and handled it properly. The FM service was exceptionally thoughtful and polite, and the facilities were excellent. The swimming pool was free, and there was a night market nearby. The environment was very good, quiet, and comfortable. Highly recommended!
